How do you do it all and STILL sleep?!?! Girl, you are such an inspiration and PLEASE don't let the jerks get to you❤❤❤ they are just miserable and they want to make others miserable. I actually feel sorry for people in that position. If we could all just love one another and have grace, this world would be such a better place ❤❤❤
My husband worked for Clorox and said that all bleach on the market is Clorox. Off brands are made by Clorox. Bleach has a shelf life. Old product is resold to third parties and repackaged. It's Clorox, just weaker. 😊
Wow Sonnet, You sure have had your fill of snarky comments lately. From the comment about you sounding too "sing songy" to the person who said "no, I've never wondered". 1st of all, you are not too sing songy. You are one of the most down to earth/funny people that I watch on here. I have a few favorites. 2nd, I don't think some people appreciate how much of your time and energy you put into making these videos and the fact that we are getting some free teaching/advice on how to do these awesome crafts, thrift flips, furniture re-dos etc. You're a plethora of knowledge and I, for one, really appreciate it. When I'm flipping through listening to different people I decide (usually by the 1st video) whether they're too loud, too quiet, too silly, too grumpy and so on. Then I make up my mind to move on to someone else WITHOUT making a nasty comment first. It's that easy folks. Sometimes I think people just like to see their name up in lights (so to speak) and don't consider that it might hurt someone's feelings. I would pay $30-$35 for one of these flannels. That's a ton of work. I do love them. Good luck at Cranberry Fest. I wish I lived closer. 🥰
If you decide to do this again, maybe the day you bring them home, go ahead and get them buttoned up and ready to go. That will save some time. Also, maybe bleach a group here and there and not do it all in one day. If they are just bleached with no pressed on designs or sayings, I would say $20-25 each. If you get to the festival and you have competition in the flannel department, you can always put them on sale for a cheaper price. One good thing is, they will not go bad! You can always put them in a tote and pack them up till next year.
Sonnet ~ You are truly amazing!!! Thank you for taking us along on your journey. I am heading down to So Cal for Debi's event and am sooo excited to meet you next weekend!!!!!!!!!! 💖
Years ago there was a big push for bleached flannels and they were going in craft store for $20-25. And with Inflation!! I would ask $26-$34. I would ask a couple dollars more for larger sizes as I see that done Everywhere! God bless your efforts. How you hanging them, girl😄😳
I live in central Mo and the bleach flannels were popular 6 years or so ago and then kinda dried up three years ago so it’s hard to give one away now. I use to also emblems them when the market slowed to change them a bit. Hope your buyers are ready to buy and you sell them all. That’s going to take a lot of room just to hang them. You’re going to do great!
LOL, I gotta say that if you don’t want someone to say they never wondered, then maybe say,”If you’ve ever wondered,” because saying, “Have you ever wondered,” is literally inviting someone to respond to your question by saying, “No, I’ve never wondered.” It doesn’t seem like a big difference, but one indicates you’re answering the question for those who did wonder and the other implies you want to know if the viewer ever wondered. Love your videos, but I’ve never wondered either. LOL
I bought one of these a couple of years ago in Atoka OK. I love my bleached flannel shirt. My shirt goes from heavy bleaching at the shoulders and get less and less bleached going down the body until it is normal color around the bottom. Good luck!!
😂😂😂 She commented because you asked! 😂😂😂❤ You crack me up!....but hey! Any comment is interaction on your content for the algorithm. Im excited to see these flannels again! I loved them so much last year! I've got to make some! ❤ TFS superwoman! ❤
I thought that as well. And really who does sit around thinking I wonder how it looks to see that many flannel shirts. She might have just been funny. Some have a humor. 😅
That’s a lot of flannels!! They are going to be a hot seller! Looking forward to seeing the set-up for Cranberry Fest this year. Such a great event, and the location is so nice!
Sonnet-I bleached 25 flannel shirts on Saturday. Took me all afternoon! I did it outside on my south facing driveway in the sunshine! I tried different brands of bleach and I had the best luck with Dollar Tree bleach. I had better control with that brand. I used2 bottles of bleach to 2 of water. I have 2 shirts that did not even fade! I’m doing them for my craft show at the end of October, and 2 following weekends in November! You should come! It’s in my friends home! send you a flyer b when I get one! It’s not like Cran fest-we only have 20 vendors. Best of luck in Eagle River!
Hi Sonnet, I don’t know where you get your energy girl! What a marathon. I would price the flannels in the $30-35 range. You would pay more in a boutique and if you find they aren’t selling you can always reduce a bit. I would also suggest what doesn’t sell should go in your three booths. I would think with winter in Wisconsin you would sell plenty! Don’t undervalue your hard work.
You are the cutest, hardest working, mid-west accent lovin gal out there!!!!! I adore you Sonnet, I truly hope you get to rest in between everything you have going on!!!! Take care, have fun!!! Toni
I remember the very first video I watched, I did not yet know that you had booths and your own little business and I thought you were a crazy hoarder with obviously way too much money to spend! Then I realized everything you do is justified. Now... I've decided you're as crazy as I first thought! 😂💖👍
Oh and besides the bleaching of flannels that I did, I also did some kids jeans and adult overalls. Now my 2 Adult girls each want a pair. It’s hard to find overalls in my 2 thrift stores. Not sure what price I should put on them. I don’t think they will sell in the $30. range, Thinking about $18. to $20. Overalls more , of course. Next I’ll be painting unicorns on little girls Jean jackets-I sell this for $25.
Sonnet I hope you do great at Cranberry Fest, I have been watching you for a few years, I love your energy and Barn Quilts , they are so Stunning, My dear some People just are Miserable and likes to Leave Ugly Comments, You are Above them, just ignore it,
Pricing, one of the hardest parts of a small business when the majority of it has been thrifted. Wanna make sure you have a sale not a show. Don’t price em too high…..I’m afraid they will be priced high
I would think anything over xxL would be more expensive. 3x what you have in them I would say. You did wash and dry and that is water and electric expense. So you would need to figure that and your time.
Those flannels are perfect!!!!! I hope you sell out! You are awesome! ❤ Husbands are so sweet but dont give away the farm and 4 flannels for your husband. 😂😂❤❤ You did SO much for these flannels! Your time, effort, stress, lungs, back, haul, $28/shirt I think is reasonable. Your shirts are worth so much more but strategic pricing.... im curious... What are you pricing them? 😂❤
I have never heard of this process of bleaching plaids, who knew it was a thing, but I think they will sell well in your booth as I can only imagine your booth attracts locals and people who might travel a bit of.distance just to buy your amazing art, like the barn stars, quilts, etc. If I did not live so far away in Canada, I would for sure want to visit your booth. Bravo to you for taking on such a big job of bleaching so many plaid shirts. 🙌🏻
Wow! Well, you did ask a question . "Have you ever wondered what 400 flannels look like?" I would have probably given the same answer, especially since I am not even a fan of flannel.😂😂
Dawndy- what state or area do you live in? Thinking about what prices people will pay for goods in my area-south central Wisconsin and what I should price my bleached flannels.

Are there other people selling them, if so, Id go with $22. If you are the only one $28. Or you could do $25 for 1 and $45-46 for 2. You have enough to do that! I'm super cheap, but I'd pay $20-22. If you do them lower they are more accessible to everyone's wallet, lol. My mom always say a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush or in your cash a sale for 1 is better than bringing 2 (or 200😂) home Best of luck and keep us posted!
Twenty dollar bill seems about right. Because they’re buying a one of a kind item. It’s a festival not a boutique and the economy is rough at the moment.

Wow Sonnet! You had a very busy weekend. What did you do with your bleach solutions when you finished?
How much did you charge for the shirts last year?
Does anyone know how she got the 400 flannel shirts? Maybe that was discussed somewhere but it seems interesting thank you
First of all-YOU ARE AMAZING GIRL‼️. Such a hard devoted worker!
The flannels look awesome. Did you thrift them & for how much?
I am not familiar with bleached flannel, would love to see some hanging up😊!
Try only bleaching 100 percent cotton shirts.
Do you know Unicorn Dust Designs? She use to do the flannels. She just bleached on the back and put designs over the bleach area.
Where in the world did you get 400 flannels?
I wish I could go to Debi’s open house! I’ve followed her for years. I’m sure it will be very cool!! ❤❤
Lol… I saw your reel and yes, the comments you got where ridiculous! 😂😂😂

There going for anywhere from 35$ to 55$ on tiktok shop or Etsy hope that might help for next time

Place an upright fan. The square kind at the end of your table and have it backwards to draw the fumes away from you
Great tip, thank you!
I do this when using bleach or oil paint (because of the turpentine fumes)…
I think the pricing depends on the area. Here in my area you wouldn’t get more than $15-$20 each.
Wowsa…..what was the price?
Etsy has them for $40-$55. You’re amazing for bleaching that many flannels!
You are right!

$32 for one and discount for multiple shirts
I’m seeing brand name bleached flannels going for $36, lesser brands for $20 to $28.
