In case you're having a bad day, a few days ago a fifth-grader from my school tried to impress me by telling me he knows the evolution lines of Pikachu, Charmander and Bulbasaur. It made my day.
I actually like the starters, the idea of a depressed ghost type typhlosion is pretty cool Also I like samurott a bunch, hoping it’s got a good shiny (I have a shiny dewott) and I’m not mad about another water dark type, since they’ve got pretty different concepts and vibes And I love the idea of a fall, melee decidueye. I actually really like all of the new Hisuian forms, even the weird looking Dialga and Palkia. They're like Ultra Beasts which some are more weird looking than badass. I think that some people forget that Typhlosion's flames are non-existent except for in battle in past 3d Pokemon games (or maybe they removed the flames entirely, while Legends Arceus has the flames), so I very much prefer its Hisuian form.
Arceus looks like one of the best games ever but wtf is with all the new forms that were leaked. The one officially revealed are good. But the ones leaked look terrable
The forms of Dialga and Palkia are origin forms like Giratina plus I like origin Dialga and origin Palkia would look better with arms and Typhlosian does have flames
I am picking Rowlet because I like the look of hisuian decidueye, even though people don’t like it. It looks different, but that’s okay! I also want to use kleavor, because it looks cool and seems strong. I also want to use hisuian arcanine because it looks cool. I enjoy the fact that we will get a free shiny ponyta (you might not have known that, be excited.) and I will also use goodra, because I like the shell, and will be using zorua. (I still don’t know how to spell that one) Edit: the signature move of typhlosion is called “infernal parade” #TTS
typhlo's signature is called infernal parade, and also I respect ur decision of choosing decidueye, after all it has an op signature, whereas the others, not so much however I have to warn you some stuff, one kleavor can't use its op ability sheer force well, since the only move that gets boosted is rock slide, overlapping with its signature stone axe. Also, arcanine has two four times weaknesses (ground and water), but they are both weak to grass so its not much of a problem. goodra doesn't have a consistent special steel stab, the only option being the glaringly flawed steel beam (cuts user's hp in half), and yes, it didn't get flash cannon, idk y. lastly, I suggest using a flying type to fill in the last spot, or a ground resist, since your team does really bad against ground. Arcanine 4x, goodra 2x, kleavor and zoroark 1x, and only decidueye resisting it overall tho pretty balanced team however I suggest going on pokemondb.net to figure out some movesets and figure out ur last team slot. edit: consider mantine? good bulk to support ur team, immune to ground, and good stabs in hydro pump and air slash. I would recommend gyarados if it had a physical flying stab

Xy are considered empty games still, needed a third version. Sun and moon has too many cutscenes and liner paths and sword and shield... Took both flaws, and added new ones now that they are no longer the top of 3ds and instead low in the switch's barrel.
