    When I began eating a mostly cooked, no-SOS, WFPB diet fifteen years ago, most of my health issues disappeared but not all. 14 months ago, I developed an autoimmune. 13 months ago another one showed up, and I couldn't walk. After beginning Dr. Goldner's protocol, including the emotional work, and exercise, symptoms disappeared and blood tests were normal in a few weeks. I still follow the protocol, because why mess with a good thing. Occasionally, I add a fun-food, cooked, WFPB meal with added salt. I'm grateful that another plant-based doc put aside her ego and biases about high raw veg, salt, seeds/avocado, and sent me to Dr. Goldner. Like Dr. G, I have no desire to change; I feel alive, not deprived.

    Dr. Goldner is absolutely hands down the best at teaching her followers and patients to heal, from teaching how and what to eat, to dealing with emotional and mental health for whole body and mind healing, and her manner of speak is so relatable! Love Dr. Goldner, thank you for having her!

    I was diagnosed with the auto immune disease Multiple Sclerosis way back in early 2000 when I was in my early 20's. Then around 2005 I went vegan, for the animals; I had no idea or thoughts about any health benefits related to the diet. Back then, I ate what is now "popularised" as "WFPB" - because there weren't really any processed alternatives around 🦕😂 I remember mentioning diet to two neurologists, and I remember one of them kind of chuckled at the idea. This is an auto immundisease, right, the unknown, what would diet change.. 🙄 Long story short, since going vegan, I have not had any symtoms! I am also not on any meds. Today I am fairly active, running almost every single day, and I would say I'm in really good health, almost 44. The only time I read about MS and diet, was maybe a decade ago, when a friend sent me a Newsletter from Dr. McDougall. I have since read about people getting well, or better, going vegan.

      @davidsgardell 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I agree with what she is saying about people not able to stick to a diet. Temptations to cheat, difficulty with social situations, etc. For me, being vegan for the animals might have "saved" me, since I am very passionate and a direct consequence of that is being strict.

      I have recently been hearing more about that, if you have more reasons than health, such as care of animals it is easier to adhere to plants only.

      Regardless of what certain exception to the rule parents achieved and achieve, the reality is that the societal changes that required that both parents worked outside the home also coincided with a rise in the consumption of processed foods and ready made meals.

      Americam vegans tend to be low on iodine. That causes thyroid issues. Eating seaweed regularly will supply all the iodine you need. Japanese, Chinese, Koreans eat seaweed daily. You can buy prepared forms at these Asian grocery stores. I go weekly to buy a container. They are delicious! Also, use ionized salt. But the problem is if you down on salt, your iodine then becones low if you don't eat sea weed.

      Please keep in mind, iodine is a mineral that is found in the soil. Predominantly abundant in the ocean sea floors. This is why sea vegetables such as 2 sheets of nori will provide all the iodine we need for the day.
      Iodine supplementation is far safer than consuming mother cow/goat lactating breast milk for her baby turned cheese products. As iodine is used as a disinfectant to clean the utters of mothers and the leftovers drip back into toxic dairy products.

    Hmmmmm, I knew this would be interesting. I could tell before this started that there was an air of these women not being keen (putting it politely)on each other. Im sorry but as much as i like Goldner and I acknowledged shes done great things nut i could not stick to her protocol for life. A) The volume of green smoothies her folks take is utterly ridiculous. And ive noticed rivalry in her FB group and militancy. It did though help me but only to a certain point as it actually gavecme B12 issues. The amount of flax seeds were beyond it for me. 2 or 3 tbsp of flax is plenty. Her venomous approach to having omega 6 as demonised is daft. She wants an emphasis on very little cooked food which i thought no! Esting avlot of raw, i do get! However what really sorted my subclinical hypothyroidism was focusing on iron, zinc, iodinexand selenium despite the smoothie. Shes able to eat so many avocados because she limits whole grains so high fat low carb. I find her incredibly big headed. Her wayvor the high way. Opposite to blue zones. Plus none of what she does is actually scientifically backed and i wish she would. She gives excuses that don't stack up. I couldn't afford the volumecof vegetables she recommended because it's insane!
    Dr Popper i like because shes got a level of maturity i appreciate. The only thing about Popper is she's wrong with demonising HRT. Without HRT id be in a hospital. But shes very grounded.
    Interesting the whole thing.

      You obviously haven't listened to Dr Goldner's story. She was sick with Lupus and other problems for 12 years and she was HEALED using the protocol that she and her husband now teach. Thousands of her patients have healed. She is extremely smart and positive. Not arrogant at all. Her protocol is specific for cellular repair and restoring immune function. You do it for 6 weeks. (and it's FREE! on her website) The amount of vegetables and seeds may seem like a lot, but the purpose is to flood your body and your trillions of cells with healing nutrients. And it works. Raw foods have not been damaged by heat, so raw foods are superior. No other species in nature eats cooked food. Watch some more of her videos and you'll get why she is so passionate. Dr Popper has always come across as snobby. It's just different personalities.

    • @barbarawinsor5306
      @barbarawinsor5306 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Older does not necessarily mean wiser. Popper feels threatened by this young, vibrant, passionate, intelligent woman. Popper's a dud with the personality of a rock. The old need to step aside and make way for the new. Dr Goldner was very sick with Lupus and other ailments for 12 years. She was told at age 16 that she had 6 months to live. She healed herself by following the protocol that she and her husband now teach. She has every right to be passionate about what she teaches. She tells her story in many other videos. This setup was not a good idea, having these two doctors on the show together.

    • @barbarawinsor5306
      @barbarawinsor5306 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Actually, Popper was rude to Goldner. She said focusing on "just" nutrition and psychology was not enough. That was a direct slap to what Dr Goldner is teaching. Popper feels threatened because Dr Goldner has helped thousands of people heal from all kinds of illnesses.
