Disclaimer: I don't know the real motivation behind why the Style in Real Life subjects dress how they do. Everything presented here is a matter of my own opinion and speculation.
I love the jump cuts!
+alpha m. what are jump cuts?
+Mitchell Lum those random cuts where he suddendly changes places
Hey alpha!!!! What's up???
Why doesn't he upload anymore?
Let's see Daniel Craig, or Bond in general. Marlon Brando, and most of all Michael Caine.
Wrong. Celtic warriors often went into battle naked. It puts the enemy off guard and gives the air of ultimate confidence and invincibility.
I'm a casual MMA fan, and Conor really catches my eye with his awesome suits. I admire him for his confidence and style.
good commentary - but you MUST show more than just you. the visuals are not up to the commentary. let's see LOTS of Mcgregor photos and videos while you speak. then cut back to you occasionally, too.
Tatler Tom
Good ide he is moore of a speaker voice.
These are very cool, legitimately insightful videos. I honestly did not know who this guy was, but now I feel like I have a really in-depth understanding of him, told entirely through his clothes.
Hey, if you want to do some style videos I recommend checking out guys like Frank Galluci, David Gandy, George Cortina, Justin O'Shea and Nick Wooster just to name a few. Oh and you can't go wrong with guys like James Dean and Steve Mcqueen.
He IS THE MEN ! It kind of feels like his clothing is just decoration for his body and pesonality.
Keep up the good work man! You'll become big
+HA_mc_NUTTY Thanks for the support!
Just got done with you're archetypes yesterday. It's great to read stuff that has a philosophical lean when it comes to style. Love to read about peoples take on masculine dress, but so many people are just prattling on about with style tips that I grew up with and have no need to hear.
Good stuff Sir keep it up.
+Jared Camilleri Thanks! I'm glad you liked them. Did you take the quiz? Which did you end up getting?
Do Michael Jackson next!!
That could be interesting. His style was never very masculine, but it was certainly intentional.
Conner has the eye for great looking clothes. Most men don't have the eye, but we all recognize a man that has that touch with his dress. His individual items might not be your style, but you must admit the man looks dam good.
yes yes and hell yes
Exactly and spot on, his consumption is not only consumption, it has other dimensionality to it, as a fighter:
- strategic
- tactic
- operativ
Your content is very well written and explained. The Casey Neistat vid brought me here and this video kept me here. Subscribed!
I think I'll see what my archetype is.
+goindown71 Glad you decided to stick around. Which archetype did you get?
I just did mine and I am defined as Refined.
One of the best video series on TH-cam. Super interesting
+Alex C. Carter Thanks! I'm excited to do more.
Hi Tanner, great analysis. Could you do Style in Real Life for Sylvester Stallone? I think it may prove interesting but also quite challenging, considering the many different ways the action legend approaches style.
LILB THE BASEDGOD NEXT PLEASE!!!!!! Awesome video though it's awesome you actually respond to your requests. Never thought I'd be into a channel like this but I love it man!
+Tanner Guzy PLEASE
+Tanner Guzy Glad you're enjoying it. I'll to do some research on LilB!
As always, very thought provoking. Good job Tanner 👍
+Sean Rafferty Thanks Sean!
3:44 what was wrong with the suit in that picture?
Why do you have a sewing machine on your shelf, do you make suits in your shop?
Can you do a breakdown of Johnny knoxville's style?
+Yerbur Knoxville could be interesting.
nice video, i like how you give an explanation why he (probably) dresses that way.
Keep it up man! I enjoy these very much!!
+One Botero Glad you like them!
YES! someone that's understanding what he is actually doing. He is looking at himself as a brand as well as an fighter and die hard UFC fans "that have watched it since the beginning" with an TapOout t-shirt or a Venum shirt doesn't understand that...
Exactly. My favorite thing about McGregor is his willingness and ability to see the bigger picture.
Nice description of McGregor's story...
Would be nice if you could do it in the same style as the 'Mindsmash' narrator who has subtle music background and the way he uses his tonality and narrates is amazing .
Check out the Mindsmash channel
Great analysis; interesting points tying in financial behavior with style.
+Matt Beadle It's a subtle connection, but there nonetheless. Glad you liked it!
He's kind of a genius because he brought refined to a tribe that was rugged which made him rakish.
Great analysis, keep it up!
+Will Jackson Thanks!
Make 10 levels of different style levels that men dress in.
dude is cut like a diamond
Loving these !! Please do more !
+ThatGuyFromThatShow Glad you like them. Who do you want to see next?
Tanner Guzy Masculine Style Please, if you could, do David Bowie throught out the ages ! I'm doing an essay on this matter !
Can you do a video like this for a music artist called Jidenna? His style is a huge feature of his brand image to the point where his self titled genre "Swank" is in part modelled off of the word "swagger" (if memory serves me well). His video Classic Man showcases all the reasons you should do a breakdown, just fantastic fashion in my opinion. Thanks!
I'll check him out! Thanks for the tip.
did anyone else get mad when he said record in the RING
Really enjoyed this
+Alfonso Muchacho Thanks!
Great videos!
+yoyi2030 Thank you!
berserkers were not Celtic. They were Norse.
Brilliant
Do you consider yourself an MMA fan?
A budding fan.
+Masculine Style as a longtime MMA nerd, it always fascinates me what draws people to MMA. In the MMA tribe, hardcore fans remember Conor McGregor's first fight in the UFC. He wore pretty cliche fighter clothes. He received almost immediate promotional hype (which some hardcores consider unfair and undeserving at that point), and then suddenly started dressing "up." Hardcores in MMA primarily value genuineness, and so it looked forced to some. However, I loved his style change- it seemed to reflect both his sudden increase in confidence and his willingness to be a villain. Loved that my style and MMA worlds collided- thanks!
+DamianMaia He does such a good job of combining the too. It was fun to speculate on what his motivations are and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
+Masculine Style budding fan aswell. Growing into a huge Diaz brothers fan so that win really pulled me into the it.
You should have some background music
+grin I agree.
Tanner Guzy
No hate that.
Kanye West, The Weeknd, me.
+Daniel Wilson Good suggestions!
Check your edit @ 9:24
Great work other wise.
+Marty Jackson Thanks for the catch. Got it fixed.
its just the european rich boy style
+Tanner Guzy On the surface maybe, but it's so much more than that.
He made all his money himself.
Do Fouseytube style
+MR. Expert He could be a great candidate. I'll so some homework!
Tanner really should trim his beard and get another haircut. These make his head look sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long ^^'
hehe good video :)
Thanks!
fan boy much
.There have been many many people in sports ..mainly fighting ,like him
He’s not unique
mcgregor is so overrated.
