- This video is an opinion-based peace on what I believe are good important mods to have on your GR86. Please let me know if you have any others that I may have missed so that the 86 community can stay well informed. Your feedback is appreciated.
Another one I'd recommend is upgrading the audio. I got the OEM Subwoofer installed in my Trueno, and it makes a HUGE difference. The stock audio is garbage.

I’m getting the 86 with the brembo package. 100000 percent worth it cuz it’s 1500 and aftermarket is like 2000k atleast

I dont think the GR Performance pack is available to buy separately yet..hope it is soon..
I agree with the brake upgrade and would be the 1st on my list.
Id def recommend a tune! Just got a dyno tune on my 86 yesterday and car is wayy easier to drive now. Linear throttle response, less rev hang, noticeable +10-15 whp in the 3k-5k rpm range so no more torque dip. Car just pulls bit harder all thru the rev band. 1st gear not as choppy and annoying to drive in.
thats awesome I too will be getting a tune and i figured it being a subi engine you would have to tune the rev hang out to make it feel smoother. The one flaw i would say about this engine but otherwise a great motor!! Thanks for your input.
The brakes in general aren’t bad, they def need better pads and brake fluid tho for those who don’t wanna drop 2-5k for a bbk
@@Smitaye- yea maybe I’m too harsh on the OEMs lol but I think to unlock the cars potential it needs brakes that won’t fade so easily.
