what if i already have doorbell on the right side on the wall next to the door frame? That has some power cable in there, so that i could exchange from the regular door bell to aqara g4 - but then the camera will not show the face;/ maybe the picture’s angle can be regulated??
As long as it’s not exposed to sun in summer? Well there went that idea. Guess I’ll get something else as my front door gets full afternoon sun in the summer.

I have seen that it takes a while until video comes after force touch on the notifications on Home app, is that internet connection issues or just something from doorbell, HomeKit Secure Video issues? Can you please test the notifications on Apple Watch, test the voice, microphone, clarity of the video showing on the Apple Watch?
It’s only effecting rich notification. It’s pretty fast from Apple Home app. And first connection will be slower. Since it has to wake up from sleep. The rest connection in a short period will be ultra fast.
@@WaveTech ok, please make a short video with notifications on Apple Watch app, respond from the Watch notification, talk a little bit, I want to see how it looks on the Watch, and sound quality of the microphone and speaker. The delay is probably because it was battery powered, not wired.

162 FOV is pretty wide. But yes, extra packaging cam can be nice.
Do you know if g4 for USA market will be somehow different? Or it will identical to your model?
Global version has local video recording and angle bracket for better installation.
How far can the chime be from the doorbell itself? Do both need Wi-Fi?
It’s a Wi-Fi repeater. Can’t get too far.

It has a 20 ~ish degrees angle bracket and 162 degrees FOV. Unless you need to fit a semi trailer truck through your door. You got covered. 😛

你好，我剛買了這個門鈴，一切都很好! 但我發現用使用homekit時, G4門鈴鏡頭的面容識別比較慢….. 每一次都要按門玲第二次, 我的homepod才能讀出誰在按門鈐的名字⋯這是正常的嗎？有什麼方法可以改善面容識別的速度。感謝
应该是使用电池的对吧？相机休眠了。在移动侦测里把时间设置短一点。

家庭里的面容识别是家庭中枢实现的，这里根据HomePod 的速度，摄像头的启动速度来的，目前来看 G4 启动需要3秒，然后才是识别过程，通常人都走了还没识别到。这只有接电源解决了。接了电源摄像头就不会休眠了。

我也和G4的经理交流了下，估计还是只能接电源，不让摄像头进入休眠。

Most devs are in china. I guess it’s easier for them to just set up sever in China.
bought one in taobao, but cannot connect normally, seems I need a global version instead😢
@@無名推薦 Try reset it to see if it works, if not, it might have something to do with your Wi-Fi. Try not to have any special character in your SSID.
