Is the contrast of the new 700 that much more noticeable as well as the brightness. Also, would I be able to achieve similar if not better performance than the 700 if I upgrade to a madvr core first. This was a great overview on these new JVC projectors - thanks! I have to say, they've packed a lot of great features into these new models, while keeping the pricing more approachable for many than the NZ800/NZ900.
Great overview. Hope you will be the first to do an informative comparative test between the NZ500, Sony XW5000 and the Epson LS12000. These three being the top contenders in the under 6K market. There are probably a lot of folks like me awaiting this before purchase.
The nz500 is 36% more expensive to buy in the UK and around £1700 ($2200) more than the new QB1000. All of this makes it very hard to look at a JVC for my next projector as much as i wish i could.

@@ChristianBungert No, i dont. MSRP on the QB1000 is $8000, which puts it in a comparison class with the NZ700 ($9000)

The MadVR Core is simply astounding for its price.
Barco and Christie projectors will out beat JVC and others with no problems
They do make some very extreme models that are amazing yes, but in the more modest price points, JVC is extremely good. Thanks for watching
