I’m currently running an NZ7 that I’m quite happy with. I’ve had it for about 10 months now. It sits about 18 feet back from my acoustically transparent screen of 130 inches. Is the contrast of the new 700 that much more noticeable as well as the brightness. Also, would I be able to achieve similar if not better performance than the 700 if I upgrade to a madvr core first. You guys are the best absolutely love your videos.
Glad you enjoy our videos. You already have a great projector that is almost brand new. The Core would likely be your best bet. Please reach out to our team at www.audioadvice.com to discuss things in more detail. Thanks for watching
This was a great overview on these new JVC projectors - thanks! I have to say, they've packed a lot of great features into these new models, while keeping the pricing more approachable for many than the NZ800/NZ900.
Great overview. Hope you will be the first to do an informative comparative test between the NZ500, Sony XW5000 and the Epson LS12000. These three being the top contenders in the under 6K market. There are probably a lot of folks like me awaiting this before purchase.
The nz500 is 36% more expensive to buy in the UK and around £1700 ($2200) more than the new QB1000. All of this makes it very hard to look at a JVC for my next projector as much as i wish i could.

The JVC black levels are hard to beat. I'm excited to see one in person!
We think you will like them.
I love the JVC projectors. When will these be in your store for demo?
We do too! Hopefully very soon.
Very good comparison of the new 700 and 500 projectors. They just keep getting better and better.
Yes, they do, thanks very much!
These look killer at their price points. Can't wait to check them out!
They are!
Looking forward to adding this into the system.
You will love it!
Great overview of these new JVC models.
Thank you
These look like they will be a great upgrade to my theater.
We hope you get the chance to upgrade soon!
I love that your website has all the information!!
Thanks!
I absolutely love JVC's projector performance!
We do too!
Better technology IN A SMALLER FOOTPRINT!!! Good stuff.
Yes, they are great
Nice review. Looks like these models are already loaded in to your Home Theater Design Tool!
Thanks!

These projectors look fantastic!
Yes they do!
The NZ500 is super impressive at that price!
It is!
Can’t wait to install! 🎉
We agree!
I like the new smaller form factor. Larger projectors are such a pain to install.
Glad you like it!
NZ700 is massive "bang for buck"
That is true!

Thank you and we totally agree!

We hope to have them set up soon.

That will be a great comparison!
NZ500 vs XW5000 vs QB1000 you mean 😉
@@ChristianBungert No, i dont. MSRP on the QB1000 is $8000, which puts it in a comparison class with the NZ700 ($9000)
@@Kiwi-ot3wz you're right.
Here in europe qb1000 starts with same price of the ls12000 : ~5500€
@@ChristianBungert Thats interesting !
Love the new form factor!
Yes, big improvement!
It's bothersome that JVC isn’t publishing any input lag info on these.
Did you guys record any measurements with the Bodnar setup, by chance?
Sorry, we did not. Thanks for watching
Such a comprehensive review. Great job!
Thank you kindly!
Great looking hardware!
Agreed!
Great review!
Glad you enjoyed it
These two are not yet plugged into your online designer program so i can determine optimal throw dimensions. Can we expect that anytime soon ?
They will be soon

The jvc nz700 will be my first jvc projector :)
We hope you will purchase from Audio Advice to support out small business and channel! Great choice!
@AudioAdvice If you can ship in Canada yes 😁
25% is not a BIT of a trade off..that puts it down to 1700 lumens
Yes, it will depend on your screen size, gain, throw distance.
so when do we get the full reviews of each projector?
We decided to combine them for this video. Thanks for watching
@@AudioAdvice oh so you don't really do complete reviews then, okay.
Yeah they consider this a "review" 😂😂😂@@wally6193
@@wally6193 yeah they call this a "review" :D
@@shaolin95 hardly worth the time to watch. Tells me nothing really that I couldn't read on JVCs website.
How close to rear wall can you place these new models?
We need time to do more testing but suspect about 8”. Thanks for watching
Why the Mad VR and not a Lumagen?? 🤔 🤔
The MadVR Core is simply astounding for its price.
Barco and Christie projectors will out beat JVC and others with no problems
They do make some very extreme models that are amazing yes, but in the more modest price points, JVC is extremely good. Thanks for watching
Rainbow Effects with DLP projectors
There is no rainbow in these, they are a hybrid between LCD and DLP. Thanks for watching
No 3D??? Most HT owners such as myself have a large 3D collection. I'll pass.
We see 3D being much less popular these days. Thanks for watching
How about an actual review with some measurements rather than just reading the specs?
Ranges from 6-25k$ saved y'all 20minutes.
Current pricing is 6k for the NZ500 and 9k for the NZ700.
@JDA89 you deserve to have the best day ever for this. Thank you for saving my time
@@L4R316N4 But he is incorrect, these two are 6k and 9k.
@@AudioAdvice Buy you've listed multiple beyond these two. So no I'm not incorrect in saying the range numbers.
@@L4R316N4 you're welcome. I been trying to tell these people chill with the promotion of electronics the price of Haiti
Great review!
Thanks!
Great review!!
Glad you enjoyed it
This wasn't any review 🙃 he just stood with the projector and read out the specs
