Trance Wax aka Ejeca session might be the only true Trance session in the last 10 years of ASOT.
After Armin,Tiesto, Van Dyk etc moved from trance to EDM (and cheesy uplifting), this guy also under the alias Ejeca was the starter of the contemporary Trance influence you see everywhere from Sven Vath to Adam Beyer to Joris Voorn etc etc.
This session make look the contemporary sessions of Armin,Tiesto,Van Dyk and Oakenfold cheap commercial (tho Paul Van Dyk has reacted pretty drastically in the last month by collaborating with Future etc) .
If you want to listen the true Trance, well there are only 2 options lefts which are Trance Wax (Ejeca) and Courtesy (the Danish DJ)…. true Trance is not a super saw cheesy uplifting it is far more meaningful music than the actual LaLaLa WHO KNOWS KNOWS 😉
The music will always come back to PVD he has got his groove back on now coz he knows he is the ultimate where anything is concerned. He will always direct music. No matter what
This is proper Trance sound, but it's now considered Classic or old school I guess. I like some new Trance- like actual Trance, but I notice it's leaning more on Armins 'Who's Afraid' label more, the EDM and Prog stuff isn't good these days.
