- Skoda just revealed its second generation of the Kodiaq. We take a look at the Sportsline Skoda Kodiaq to see what you can expect if you're looking to put an order in. They will also have a plugin hybrid version that will offer an all-electric range of 100km (around 60 miles) WLTP. Thoughts? I like it and families will like how spacious it is inside even the boot space has seen an increase too.

Looks nice, love the sportline version, but I don't like those wheels, and I don't like that they haven't painted the wheel arches the same color as the bodywork, as befits a sport version, otherwise fine, although maybe too much alcantara, but in general, looks well

You can take off the caps, look how you can’t see the wheelnuts? Underneath are actual nice Audi looking rims. Same on the karoq sportline, Google if you can find the image without the caps, nice rims.

Of all the new Kodiaq reviewsI have seen so far, this one is the most detailed and crisp! Thank you so much for taking the viewers through the infotainment system and showing the functionality! Have pre-booked one in Graphite grey - with a few add ons - but this review is a quick and an effective tutorial on what all the car has. Just one question - is the front passenger also equipped with electric set adjustments or is it manual? A lot of Skoda dealers in Ireland are still not sure about all the features this one has. Also, I know this has heated seats - but would it also have ventilated seat option? Thanks.
Thank you so much. Shamefully, I can't remember now as I shot this a while back now, in terms of the electronic multi control for the seat and ventilated seat. What I'd say is to do a configurator on Skoda and see what options come up for your location/region

As a big skoda fan, im glad they're increaing the size of it a bit. Not massively sold on the exterior though and think current model looks nicer. Good and clear review though

Every time a reviewer says "oh yeah it has 4x4 in case you take it OFFROAD"
Like ... no, 4x4 is useful for much much more than just fckn offroad. It helps prevent general slip, it helps acceleration in wet conditions. It helps on snow, it makes the car stable during acceleration, it reduces torque steer.. 4x4 is so much more than an "offroad" aid.
Relax. Modern cars don’t need to be in off road mode to do those things you mention on normal conditions and even in the snow. Off road mode is literally for the terrain and improved torque vectoring and traction balance
Doesnt look as aggressive as previous model

Old kodiaq sportline looked way better on the exterior, although I like the light bar through the grill. I can't believe they're keeping the aero inserts after all the negative feedback they've had. Interior is miles better though and glad they kept the climate control as physical knobs.
But also you can only pick 1 trim cannot just have leather or any other colour's which is so sad.
WHAT COMPANY MAKES THIS CAR....I NEVER HEARD OF THIS BRAND/CAR BEFORE......IT'S A BEAUTY!!💞
It's Škoda, a Czech car brand with a very long history, I'm sure you can find a lot of info on the company online. They're part of the VW group since the 90s. They make really good, reliable and very practical cars, usually with the biggest boot and most spacious interiors in their class. Well built as well, always good value for money.

Really good review. And I like this new kodiaq, especially the interior. What I don't like is the D pillar. That's not classy Skoda design.

That's brilliant example how to spoil the best car in the entire Europe. Last generation looked way more solid, attractive and ergonomically acceptable. Too much fuzz on Chinese-looking and chinese-orientated car. Farewell, everything what's best.

What this display does placed so high in a middle of a console?!? Is this a "televison-set", or a tablet for tablet-addicted people? Am I buying a PlayStation? What is this!? Should I play a game on this display while driving!? Why this display is not lowered and merged into a general curved shape of a middle console? I am driving now Kodiaq but this over-display in 2024 version is truly annoying. I will change the brand! You just lost a customer. Also, why you have increased car in length by around 6cm? Now (2023 Koadiaq) was perfect for city or offroad driving. What do I need this extra 6cm for? For problems with parking? Or for better off-road? Please give me a hint!
ugly as hell. why no one is talking about the ugly infotainment every car manufacturer are starting to do? the fact that is not integrated anymore, it looks hidious. what they will do, start charging extra money if you want it integrated? how its looking now, its like thwron there ,like its not part of the car.

All the electronic stuff well covered but where is the gear shift? I have a Kodiaq, now completed almost 60,000 miles and a fantastic car.
My opinion is not a skoda.

Enjoyed your review. Great looking car although the Kia Sorento is my personal favourite in this category. Amazing how far Skoda have come. I used to be a parts delivery driver in the mid 80s and quite often used to deliver to a Skoda dealer. Think the main model was the Estelle. Horrible looking thing with the engine in the back. My father many years later became a Skoda convert, bought a couple of Octavia estates then later a superb estate. He loved them. He said they never once had to go to the dealer for faults, only scheduled servicing.
