- This is the first video of the Roman Empire series. In this video, we begin with talking about the time when Romulus and Remus brothers established a village in central Italy called Rome, to the formation of the Roman Kingdom and then the Roman Republic. Then we discuss the formation of the Roman Empire and the Pax Romana period.

रोमन साम्राज्य पर यह रोचक प्रस्तुति प्रशंसनीय है। इतिहास के विभिन्न तथ्यों को सिलसिलेवार ढंग से बताया गया है। मुझे निम्नलिखित बिंदु उल्लेखनीय लगे- १) मानचित्र पर रोमन साम्राज्य और उसके शहरों को दिखाया जाना २) रोमूलस और रीमस भाइयों की कहानी ३) सीनेट जो आज भी कई प्रजातांत्रिक राष्ट्रों में अस्तित्व में है।

रोमन सभ्यता पर इतनी सारी जानकारी इतने कम समय में मुझे किसी और वीडियो में नहीं मिली। यह वीडियो राजशाही से गणतंत्र और फिर गणतंत्र से साम्राज्य में परिवर्तन के कारणों पर प्रकाश डालता है। Pax romana में आयी संवृद्धि ने ११७ AD मे रोमन साम्राज्य को नई ऊंचाइयों तक पहुंचाया।
