- I'm playing RDR2 for the first time and HOLY MOLY it is SO GOOD!! Hosea is definitely one of my favs he's just .. lovely old man :)

I don't think Hosea's death was the turning point for Dutch's behavior, but god damn if Hosea didn't keep him in check. In other words: they were husbands, your honor.
I don't subscribe to the general idea that there was one turning point for Dutch, I believe he was changing even before the events of the story in response to increased civilization and law enforcement.
