Israel is a colonialism project, and Syria's Muslim Brotherhood/ISIS is another colonialism project, it's not that hard. What is more divided than religion, sunni Islam has 4 schools of thought, people see diversity as empowerment, they see diversity as weakness. Divide and conquer. You can clearly see that it is a colonialism project.
‘Assad could have done more for the Palestinians’. Jolani has stopped all Palestinian training camps in Syria and offered the hand of friendship to Israel even as Israel cited Jolani’s threat to them as the reason for bombing all Syria’s military defence infrastructure and stealing more Syrian land. Assad evidently, as Jolani has shown, could have done a lot less for the Palestinian cause too. What about the people of Syria? No elections for four years, I hear. After four years, will they want Assad back? Let’s see.
I guess 4 years is what Washington, Israel and Turkey want to divide Syria between them. If theres no election then there is no soveriegn people or way for Syrians to say what THEY want.
Thankyou, Crispin and M Akunjee, for this very nuanced and explanatory conversation: it still feels virtually impossible to be clear about what is going on in Syria.
I agree with Akunjee on this point (20:50). 5Pillars have been unhelpfully divisive on this and a few other issues. Watching them repeatedly focus and go on and on about certain topics can be quite embarrassing. They often take digs at certain figures as if for fun, yet they don't handle criticism so well themselves. Some of their online behavior and communication style come across as unprofessional, which can be embarrassing for the Muslim community. They should focus less on themselves and more on delivering Muslim-related news in a professional and dignified manner. In my view, Sami Hamdi or Akunjee do a better job of reporting Muslim-related news stories without making it overly personal.
The fallout is exactly what Israel would've wanted, it was a master play to take out Assad and install ex ISIS commander Jolani. But we never learn .
Arab spring was made by the west and Israel syria have head choppers wow what a improvement
Have you watched any Best Documentary stuff on Syria?

Pro Isreal vs Pro Palestinian
See the subtle difference?
BBC always call it "Pro Palestinian "
Instead of Pro Palestine
Free Palestine
My comments are magical because they just keep disappearing! 😢
Sounds like both bad in many ways - but time will tell how bad the present lot are
Says 9 comments, but I can only see 3? 🤔

Whose the guy in the dark room, is he 5 Pillars? He's talking in a rather duplicitous manner.
Good question to discuss. I saw it & ginger in immediately.
