M, Horror Mario, or Mario.EXE (it's a me, starman slaughter): Based on a random drawing where he says "Mario get you next time", this version apparently worked with Daddy Dearest in a partnership with Nintendo until he sealed him in the cartridge
Horror Peach and Horror Yoshi.EXE (starman slaughter): Peach is also based on a drawing while Yoshi got a full game
Chris Pratt (so cool): pretty easy, its based on the Nintendo direct announcing Mario's voiceactor for the Movie (Fun Fact: Bf's livestream comment section, you can see some of the creators as well as foreshadowing to future songs)
7 Granddad (nourishing blood): a hack of the game "The Flintstones, rescue of the Dino and Hoppy" replacing the cast with Mario titled Granddad, the name of the song is based on one of the quotes in the game and someone named Joel's reaction is commonly associated (he's the guy who says granddad at the beginning of the song), as a result, he became a popular meme in the early internet
Somari (Mario sing and Game Rhythm 9): a sonic bootleg game where Sonic is replaced by Mario
Beta Luigi (alone): in the beta version of luigi's mansion, if you lose the game, a cut scene of this luigi plays with lightning making it look like he hung himself (which is what Bf did)
L is Real Luigi (Thalassophobia): Mario 64 had a famous myth that Luigi was a playable character due to the fountain at the back of the castle having text that looked like "L IS REAL 2401," with this being what they assumed happened to luigi
I hate you luigi (Oh God No, I hate you): originally made to make fun of creepypastas, it became so popular is was made into a real one, Luigi is upset of constantly living in Mario's shadow so he joins Bowser to fight Mario, the names of the songs are actual quotes in the game and it plays out the same way with the songs (minus luigi getting out of the lava)
The giant floating Wario head (apparition): there was a myth that every Mario 64 was personalized to every individual player and if you were unlucky you'd encounter a floating Wario head, which often symbolized bad luck, the left pose however is based on an ad where Wario attempts to hypnotize the viewer to destroy Mario
Turmoil (Last Course): created by Scrubbdubb, Turmoil is a Mario that ate a mushroom with Yoshi's genome, he's blind, relying on echolocation to find food, he only eats soldiers in Bowser's army using his long tongue to grab them
Coronation Peach/ The King (Dark Forest): from the ROM hack "'The" or "Coronation Day" in the files, despite being almost 9 years old, no one has quite figured out the lore of this game, supposedly, peach and Mario enter a forest with a cult that worshipps "The King" and after peach falls off a broken bridge, they sacrifice her to the King as a vessel, Mario meanwhile is trapped in an endless time loop forced to run away from the King as it hunts him
Super Bad Mario (Bad Day): based on the youtube video "Super Bad Mario", Mario is simply edited in to make it seem he causes accidents, the actual setting is based on when he caused a cat to fall off the counter in order to reach a coin
Mario and Luigi (Day out): based on the youtube video "Luigi's day out," Mario is forced by his mother to take Luigi to save the princess and Mario decides to mess with him, btw at

Secret Histories Mario (Dictator): based on video from Secret Histories, Mario is a capitalistic dictator of the Mushroom Kingdom after he divorced peach after he deformed her with plastic surgery, the bullet bills are likely taken from the cannons he used to quell protestors, the setting and audio is based on when Mario did the same to Sonic after he tasked him with taking down Sega during the Console Wars by pushing for bad products, but the products weren't as awful as intended and Mario apparently knew of Sonic attempting to "fuck" him, the audio however a joke about the FNF kickstarter being awful
Racist Mario (Racetraitors): based on the video "Racist Mario", Mario is upset non-Nintendo characters are in Mario kart so he kills everyone on the track, and it ends the same way racetraitors end with him being canonically dead
Devil Mario (No Hope): based on the video "power star" Mario is possessed by 3 Boos and murders his way to the powerstars with anime fights
GB (Golden Land): GB was an original creation of one of the developers of the mod, the story goes he was created by someone named Christie Hermer around 1996 and experimented with the Cartridge he was on causing him immense pain, so he manifested in the real world, brutally breaking her against furniture, then dragging her back into the cartridge
Mr. Virtual (paranoia): essentially the story of Chucky but with SCP-035 and Glitchtrap powers, he was a contortionist that worked for a circus who snapped and became a serial killer after burning the circus down, leaving a "V" Scar on his victims, when he died, he ended up in a virtual boy where if someone were to play the game, he would kill them, puppeteer their bodies until they rot within a week
Mr. L (Overdue): based on the "Too Late.EXE" game, Mr. L is the vengeful Spirit of Luigi after Mario accidentally dropped him into lava during the Bowser fight, the first setting is a setting from the game where he would attempt to grab Mario from behind but disappear when looked at (referenced when Pico shoots at him), the second phase with all the mouths is also in the game where he attempts to grab Mario within the ground, the final stage with all the clones is where he drops Mario into lava as revenge but unsatisfied, brings him back as a ghost to torture him (he is also aware of the fourth wall).
Dj Hallyboo (no Party): based on an anti-piracy game who appears on pirated versions of Mario Party, it plays very similarly to the song where you write forgiveness letters to him but the word "criminal" is impossible to finish, he is voiced by Juno Songs (Who also made a lyric version of the song)
MX (Powerdown, Demise): Based on the game "Mario 85)," MX is a being from the beginning of time who chose Mario as his form to find unsuspecting victims, the luigi in the background is actually a young boy named Lucas who was dragged into the game to be MX's plaything, the game starts like a regular mario game until the end where MX transforms, slices a toad in half on the flagpole (seen in the background), and chases Lucas back to the start until he enters a pipe (referenced in Demise especially him leaping out of a bottomless pit), originally friends with Lord X from Sonic.Exe, this was changed due to the controversies surrounding that fanbase
Stanley (Promotion): Stanley is based on the analog horror on youtube titled "Promo Show." He's an A.I being forced to go through Super Mario 64 by the personalization AI which is also responsible for Apparition Wario
Classified Luigi (Abandoned): Not much is known about this Luigi other than he's also part of "Promo Show" where he drowns in Peach's castle, also based on the L is Real myth
Costume/Mike Robertson (The End): based on a spanish Creepypasta, he was a mario fan in his 30s who entered a competition to win a Mario game, after he figured out the game was rigged, he doned a Mario costume, killed everyone, and disappeared, it's unknown whether Costume is also Mike Robertson or just a costume
Ultra M: Horror Mario after he absorbed every character in the Mod
Mr. Sys/Steal your soul (Unbeatable) Mr. Sys is simply based on a 40 second ad in Australia that was taken down for its uncannyness

Yo, fun fact dude. When you play All Stars Act 4, during halfway, there will be these icons next to Mario. These icons are the souls of past opponents you faced before in this mod and it's very hard to hear but you can hear those voices in sync with Mario. Additionally, during the beginning the first 4 souls' verses of their OWN respective songs are sung by Mario.

4 things:
All Stars actually has far more lyrics than you realized, mostly in acts 3 and 4. I’d suggest watching the official OST since it has the lyrics (even if they are hella hard to read).
In act 4, Ultra M also mimics the voices of all the others, shown in the icons in-game and with silhouettes in the OST. Along with copying the motifs from some of their songs.
Also there were lyrics earlier in the mod during Oh God No (almost impossible to hear and there’s no lyrics) and Alone (between Mario and Luigi).
All Stars aside, I’m a bit disappointed that you talked over “It’s a mad, mad world” (the credits song), it’s really good and (being sung entirely by Ultra M himself) has some pretty serious lore implications.
It took a WHILE, but after listening a few times over I can actually hear the other singing you're talking about in All-Stars. And I gotta say JUST WHEN I THOUGHT IT COULDN'T GET MORE PERFECT IT DOES THIS😭🙏🏾

Something kinda cool is Ultra M uses the voices of past enemies in Act 4, but he doesn't use any of the less threatening faces like Luigi's Day Out Mario, Racist Mario, Chris Pratt, Grand Dad, etc. It got too serious for those goofies.

A note on Paranoia, it wants you to record your entire screen because if you don't, the recording won't pick up the stage background (which is also your desktop background, the window is transparent so recording only the window gives a broken recording)

This detail for me makes the mod 100x Better making understand the player that ultra M was having FUN for once in a long time with bf and actually wanted to free himself from the loop with bf but bf wanted to Revenge GF which ultra M wanted to kill for Revenge on her father that trapped him in that loop or as he says mad world
