Personally, I think it's important to know the mindset behind why a person answered yes or no to a question on certain topics. I'd like to know their reasoning for it and if it is sound reasoning then I have better faith in their truthfulness in future responses they may have. But that's just me. If they fail to even answer the question, then their whole character is suspect and it makes me trust their intentions less.

Constitutionally, you cannot add a state out of land from another state. DC land was set aside for the purpose of having a separate area for the Federal Government. The land really belongs to Maryland originally so unless we change the Constitution, it should be returned to the state of origin, if not used for the purpose it was set aside for.

Constitutionally, you cannot add a state out of land from another state. DC land was set aside for the purpose of having a separate area for the Federal Government. The land really belongs to Maryland originally so unless we change the Constitution, it should be returned to the state of origin, if not used for the purpose it was set aside for.
