Thank you. I miss flows like this. Panasonic Lumix G X Vario 35-100mm f/2.8 II POWER O.I.S. Lens. It was my first outing with this gear after shooting Nikon since the late 70s. I still use the same gear today.

The heat keeps you from getting trapped for the most part. Too hot to stay in one spot for too long. Always keep the gear on higher ground too otherwise you'll be moving it often. Right now its pretty easy to reach. An easy bike ride then maybe a 1/2 to 1 mile hike. No guide needed. Thanks for watching...

It depends on what your priority is and how you plan to use the video. The GH5 has pro-level settings available for video but, its overkill if you're not into that. The G9 shoots great video too and it has that 80mp option for photos. The GH5 shoots video until either your card is full or the battery is dead. I'm not sure about the G9. Rumor has it 3 new GH6 versions are coming out this fall that will make it an even tougher decision. I was going to grab a G9 strictly for stills until I heard that news. When I made this video I only had the GH5 for a few days. Knowing the camera the way I do now I could do so much better. Like more use of the manual focus option. Thanks for watching...
@@lavapix Yeah you can only film 10minutes at 60fps in 4K with the G9 which is a bit annoying not sure why the GH5 is older and is capable of shooting with no limit. Shouldn't be too big of a deal. I think I'll be getting the G9 will suit my application and I don't want to spend the extra for the GH5 when the G9 is newer and has a few better features including better images and the 80mp option is cool. Tbh this is my first DSLR I only wanted to spend $500, but wanted the 4K 60FPS option with no crop/limitations and its the cheapest option that can run 4K60FPS + 5 axis stabilisation
BTW I love this video it sounds amazing. I listen to it before I go to sleep on my TV just sit back and watch :D This is the video that turned me over to panasonic as I was going to buy the canon 250D at first
@@Thunder0wnsz The dual stabilization is excellent. If you can only have one lens either go for the Lumix 8-18 (16-36) or the 12-35 (24-70). I use the 8-18 75% of the time. But the entire kit is so light I carry them all. The GH5 was mainly built for video but it also does excellent photos. Today's software can fix noise issues easily. Yeah, 10 minutes is too short for me.
@@Thunder0wnsz I used an external mic to get those sounds. It's in the description. The audio is so important in videos. That's why I always tried to hike as far away from people as possible when recording.
