anky uses up a LOT of stame swimming up, this is because of how heavy anky is, so its kinda the same as modern hippos, they dont "swim" they sprint underwater, anky is a simaler body size and structer to hippos so weight must be simaler, i hope this explains why hippo walk underwater, he can swim up for air but, this takes a LOT of stam

this is true exept for anky being in the same wheight class as a hippo. a good example is, what is heavier? a normal person or a person wearing a ton of rocks? ankylosourus could have been more then twice as heavy as the hippo.

actually, weight is not a factor when i comes to sinking. density is, though. hippos are very dense and ankylosourus is denser. think of a pebble. if you jump into a pool, you will sink, but very slowly if at all. but a pebble will go down fast. and im assuming you weigh more then the pebble, right?

I think the reason you sink when you try swim is because of the swimming update (don't know it's actual name) but I think I remember that some dinos might just sink ( not sure though)

The ankylosaur is able to walk underwater due to it being so heavy. Either or it might be intentional or just a bug.
