It's a crying damn shame this woman can't buy for her baby and share it without people saying "oh you're buying so much" "What about the shower" Who in the actual hell depends on people at the baby shower to buy their baby everything! C'mon now.. People usually buy the cheapest damn thing and wait till the last minute to get it. I think she's doing right. If she wasn't buying anything people would say "Oh it's pitiful she buys all that makeup but hasn't bought her baby a thing...Depending on others" She's damned if she does and damned if she doesn't.
Allison Riley it really is sad that people keep questioning why I'm buying for my baby. I do believe if I waited to the shower I'd get comments like you mentioned. Throwing up the fact I buy so much makeup or other things but depending on others to buy for the baby.... The shower is a fun way to get together and celebrate the baby but in no shape form or fashion do I expect guest to buy $300 strollers or car seats. I wouldn't even add such a pricey gift to the registry. I know I'll get things at the shower but I know it won't be everything I need. I really do feel in the TH-cam world I'm damned if I do and damned if I don't. This is what makes it hard to share certain things. K. Rant over lol 😂
NitraaB TV Girl, I get it. You can rant to me. Lol. I know it must be frustrating when all you're trying to do is enjoy you first pregnancy and share the experience and all people can do is judge you and tell you what to do and what not to do. If you're financially able to buy your own you don't feel obligated to wait on a shower. Yes they're nice and helpful but the truth is very little thought usually goes into those gifts, you don't get half the things on your registry and at 7/8 months you're buying last minute stuff for the baby because you depended too much upon others. I get where you're coming from. I think you're doing right. Keep buying all you want and add to your registry accordingly. Keep your head up and enjoy this moment. If you choose not to share as much we understand.
not a lot of ppl are blessed to be able to go out and get exactly what they want for their baby and unfortunately rely on baby shower gifts to supply all the baby's needs, what ur doing is absolutely right! get what u want and need girl. those gifts are usually super random but of course appreciated.

My schnauzer Jack was a little jealous of the attention we gave my little baby boy Preston (now 9 yrs old) and would occasionally poop in his bedroom. Make sure you continue to show Piglet some love and be patient with him adjusting to new baby. Congrats to you and hubby!
Colton has every dad's facial expression trying to put that stroller together lol. What makes it so funny is that your doing your mini haul with no clue of his struggle behind you! lol. Yall are going to be great parents. Congratulations! Boys are Daddy's best friends but they are their mothers keeper.
I was the same way with all 3 of my pregnancies . I never wanted anyone to feel obligated to give anything. We always bought everything ourselves for the most part. Love the baby haul. I can't wait to see the big haul on your main channel .
I have the same stroller for my son. We love it. He's 6 months. I love that I can use the Chicco key fit car seat. But I bought an additional stroller (Chicco lightweight plus) when I want to use a compact stroller which you can also use as an umbrella stroller when he's a toddler.
I purchased all my own larger items because, I had researched what I wanted for months and we can afford it. Its my first and I really wanted certain items. At our showers we didn't really get many items from our registry, everything we received was appreciated but, mostly it was a time to celebrate our new arrival with family and friends.
I think the book idea is awesome! As a teacher that makes me so proud! I saw in another video you actually already have one of my favorites (the very hungry caterpillar by Eric Carle). So I'll be sending another one of my favorites. :)
The lullaby sounds and projections thing works wonders. My little cousin that I babysit loves it and it puts him right to sleep. The sound is adjustable so you can turn it lower as they fall asleep and there's alot of different sounds. Hope you like it!
Nitra I love baby stuff and watching how excited you guys are is so adorable! The ladies in the hospital can teach you and Colton how to swaddle. They taught us and they watched us many times so we had it down before we left. lol. All of the stuff you got is so cute and the book idea is perfect! Can't wait to see more videos!
Nitra, I love how organized you are with all the baby stuff. I would do the same thing when I have children, I know baby showers are for everyone to buy gifts but I'm such a control nut I want to purchase the majority of the things for my baby.
Wow I love the stroller. It looks very similar to my Maxi Cosi one I bought six years ago... I love how easy it was to unfold. and easy to turn...light weight. I put it together myself... I wish my husband was as handy as Colton. lol

You're going to be great parents. A little advice (and I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this already) Don't buy too much. It's easy to get sucked into buying all the little cute things and stuff that may seem necessary but the baby won't need or use half of it. For the car seat, you can usually get just an extra base to put in another car that way you don't have to buy two.
Piglet is just as excited! he knows it's a change coming. I see you got somethings from Children's Place. They have really good sales. I also like Gymboree, Gap kids, Carter, and Osh Kosh.
At my baby shower we asked guest to bring a book instead of a card . Now our little man's nursery library is full 😍. We didn't buy the typical bookshelf we went the IKEA route and and on top of the bookshelfs we put a cute vinyl quote on top!
Hey Anitra! I'm not a mom but I think it'll be good for you and Colton to take CPR lessons for babies. Seeing the American Red Cross kit you bought made me think of that. It's always good to be prepared! Love you!

Buy whatever you want for your baby. You can always put those things away for another baby, sell or give to someone in need. I really want to send you something! I have two girls so buying for a boy is always fun. 💙
Book idea is such a great thought. I received a baby shower invitation recently and instead of a card the parents are asking you bring a book to help build child's library.

I'm an old school mom my oldest will be 31 next month and my baby is 26, but a suggestion you might want to get cloth diapers and use them for slobber rags their great and more functional. Bless you and your family seems like you guys will be great parents

The sound machine was a great buy mama, I always kept the deep sleep therapy machines in my kids rooms they slept like angels with it 👶🏽💤💤

I'm an old school mom my oldest will be 31 next month and my baby is 26, but a suggestion you might want to get cloth diapers and use them for slobber rags their great and more functional. Bless you and your family seems like you guys will be great parents
