I have already Left My Twenties and I struggle with this question everyday since leaving school. I think trying to maximize kept me in a job I didn't want to be in for years until I settled for an incrementally "better" one. I still find myself trying to maximize my way into something more fulfilling.

love love love the three criteria for decision making,, really really useful for fellow optimizers whelp. I'm halfway through a full year basically unpaid internship for an NGO which definitely hits the social "right", but i don't love the type of work I'm doing its super stressful, leaves me barely any time for myself and i'm not paid for endless extra hours and working weekends (personal meh), so *lol* sustainability.

I needed this!! I'm so glad you came up on my home page. I'm about to graduate college (degree in journalism) and I've been grappling with whether I'll be successful as a full-time content creator, especially with a new project aside from my primary channel here. I gotta trust myself and get back to the drawing board like the maximizer I am. Thank you Ahsante :)
