The Keyestudio Smart Farm uses multiple sensors to fulfill functions on a farm: alarming for flooding, movement, dry soil, high temperatures, rain -- opening food box when animals come to food box, transferring data to website or phone for remote monitoring, etc. Loads of fun although I struggled to get App to stay connected sometimes.
Can take Arduino IDE code or Scratch code

It will be great to re-visit the App connection. It does work sometimes but not always reliably.

Hi physicist. I bought the Smart Farm a week ago. Assembled it and checked and rechecked the wiring. I installed the latest Arduino IDE v 2.3.2 for the Mac. Added the JSON link in preferences; selected Board ESP32 “Dev Module” & Port “/dev/cu.usbserial-1410”; Downloaded CH340 driver and required libraries.
Not sure what else I’m missing. The sketches compile but on upload I get error messages like: A fatal error occurred: Unable to verify flash chip connection (Invalid head of packet (0xE0): Possible serial noise or corruption.).
I’ve taken the farm apart and tried getting the individual sensors to work but still no joy.
What am I missing? pls help.

How did you connect the esp32 card to the "iot farm" app?
Absolutely adorable. ❤ I have a 5009 smart house, doing it in Python. I may go back to finishing it in arduino ide. I would really appreciate if you could reach out to me tell me how you got your 5009 connected to your app.

Hi @HollyHertig - I tried to answer but it seems my comment got deleted... The App wasn't easy to get set up for the 5009 but once it was set up, the App worked really well. I talked about it on my website review. I'll send the excerpt in a new comment in case it makes this comment get deleted!
