I work as an L&D nurse and we see people in triage for this exact reason so often that turn out to be nothing serious. I swear these babies love to be jokesters and get everyone worked up. But you’re definitely right about coming in. So many people go back and forth because they’re worried about “overreacting,” wasting someone’s time, or looking dumb. I always always tell my patients at discharge that we’d rather you come in every week if you’re having concerns and just send you back home after a work up than for you to doubt getting it checked out and something be serious going on.

She had to be induced and have her baby right away because the baby was in total distress. Totally saved her own baby! She was a nicu baby for a month or so and now is a thriving 7 year old. It’s best to make sure just in case. You never know
I don't have a big sister, so it's very nice to go through the pregnancy journey with you and when i have kids i can come back and rewatch these videos
Having gone through a miscarriage traumatizes you so much. I’m so happy baby boy is here because throughout my whole pregnancy i tried remaining positive but I was so anxious and stressed😭. I personally didn’t count the kicks because like you said I started over obsessing if I felt 8 or 9.
this happened to me! the scariest thing ever. i was told the same, to always come in and to get checked out anytime this happens. i was a high risk pregnancy and literally 2 weeks later I had to be admitted due to other risk

Trust me, the anxiety never stops. Even once he’s here you’ll feel it. Mine transitioned to postpartum OCD with my second baby. I’m now pregnant with my third and I’m a little scared of how I’ll be postpartum with this one.

Girl I had an anterior placenta as well and I freaked out one morning because I didn’t feel him kick or move at all and I googled all the things and did everything still no movement finally got in with my doctors and the hooked me up to find his heartbeat and did an ultrasound to find him sleeping up against my placenta! I was so scared! But super happy that my baby boy was good just using my placenta as a pillow to cuddle up with. Im glad your baby boy is good ❤

I make cookies like this all the time and add different add ins my fav is with this same box cake and add 2 eggs 1/2 cup of oil 1/2 cup of brown sugar and milk chocolate chips (as many as you like I think I added 1 cup) and bake them at 350 for about 10min and they are so delicious! You should try it!

I also had an anterior placenta and I barely felt my baby move. My 28 week appt, I was 28 weeks on the date, (for once, usually my appts were a few days or maybe even a week off), I was actually diagnosed with pre-clampsia and long story short, was medflighted an hour and 15 mins away to Nashville to a high risk women’s hospital and nicu. I was put on bed rest til what they hoped 32-34 weeks pregnant, I ended up having my son 29w1d. Let me tell you. The whole time on bed rest, everytime a nurse or one of the maternal fetal doctors, or OB came in, they’d ask how much he moved around and my answer was always “barely”. I found out the day after I was medflighted (bc I was brought in at night) when they did the more in-depth ultrasound that my son was measuring in the 1st percentile. Hints why I never felt him move. Bc he was so so tiny, hiding behind my anterior placenta. Alwayssssss trust your gut Sarai, don’t ever feel crazy or like you overthought something. You have every right to be anxious from Seven. Bc if my husband and I have a second, idk what I’m gonna do once I get to the point of having to count kicks, I’m gonna have so much ptsd and anxiety. I paused at 12:16 and girllllll when I was pregnant with my twins same thing happen to me they weren’t moving , I took a warm bath drank something cold , laid on my left side NOTHING WAS WORKING, I went into the hospital got hooked up the NST and boom they started moving like crazy I’m like wow lord but the stress I was feeling before then was so scary 😮 glad everything is good can’t wait to meet baby boy! ❤

I trusted my intuition and went to the hospital turns out I was having contractions and I tested positive for a protein that causes pre term labor they told me to take it easy at home and drink a lot of water , LADIES it’s true better to be safe than sorry! I thought I was going to look dumb at the hospital but turns out it was something serious!
