A Europa virou um local mais receptivo, ao menos antes da epidemia de AIDs. Ainda que mais receptivo, isso não livrava elas a momentos de violência, e agora longe de casa e sem apoio, já que as baixadas brasileiras se recusavam a ajuda (A friend of mine he would up dead/his dress was stained the colour red/No next of kin no fixed abode/Another victim on this road/The police just carted him away/But someone took his place next day). Note que ele se refere ao "vestido dele". Entre outras conotações espalhadas pela música. E essa é só uma interpretação preguiçosa que podia ser longamente estendida :)
