Did I ever say how I feel about you?
A thing I never found that easy to do
The things that you do, don't need to be heard
You know your actions, baby, speak louder than words
I've got the bottle, bring me your cup
Pop the cork, and try a sup
And when you're empty I'll fill you up
We'll drink it down till the sun comes up
I'm heading home like a steaming train
Foot to the floor in the driving rain
My head is aching and my mouth is dry
I've got a thirst only you can satisfy
I've got the bottle, bring me your cup
Pop the cork and try a sup
And when you're empty I'll fill you up
We'll drink it down till the sun comes up
I've got the bottle, bring me your cup
Pop the cork and try a sup
And when you're empty I'll fill you up
We'll drink it down till the sun comes up
I'm heading home like a steaming train
Foot to the floor in the driving rain
My head is aching and my mouth is dry
I've got a thirst only you can satisfy
I've got the bottle, bring me your cup
Pop the cork and try a sup
And when you're empty I'll fill you up
We'll drink it down till the sun comes up
I've got the bottle, bring me your cup
Pop the cork and try a sup
And when you're empty I'll fill you up
We'll drink it down till the sun comes up
I've got the bottle, bring me your cup
Pop the cork and try a sup
And when you're empty I'll fill you up
We'll drink it down till the sun comes up
I've got the bottle, bring me your cup
Pop the cork and try a sup
And when you're empty I'll fill you up

Great song.😎 Ali Campbell is a legend, such a smooth voice.👌Who would of thought prior to UB40 starting as a music group they were all on unemployment benefits, hence the name UB40 (Unemployment Benefits Form #40) which use to be the form they had to fill out (back in London - England) to obtain unemployment benefits. Just shows you what desperation, determination and drive can do to someone.. Now they are one of the best reggae groups of all time.Amazing success story.👏
They weren't unemployed or claiming. They've stated this themselves however it was the case for many people they knew at the time. Their friend suggested the name.. Also they were from Birmingham not London.
Wow
Great story you have shared. Little did i know the meaning of UB40.
Just shows that reggae is universal

This song reminds me of when Carnivore DJs were playing the last song and closing the club at 6 am. Fond memories of a misspent youth.

🔥🔥🔥🔥Still listening in 2020
What a song. What a year. My first Holiday without my parents, I found out what life and love was that Summer...the memories x
I had just moved out to be on my own. Young girl at 19 in Jamaica. I had already grown up on Bob Marley, but when I first heard Red Red Wine, I fell hook line and sinker- they are phenomenal. What I love about their music is the ability they have to make you laugh, cry, reminisce, think about a social issue and just be downright happy all with the same album! I own what I believe is all their albums - and it never sounds old either. I am now 51. The only difference had to buy them all over since my original set was on Cassettes. Lol!
Loved in Papua New Guinea!!! Still listening in 2022!!!
Sick from drink in the morning put this on and crack open a cold one 🍻
The way this song stills bangs in 2020

Old good days
I remember reading a music review in the 1990s that described this song as "gorgeous" and said it was criminal that it hadn't been released as a single. I always wondered if the group or record label saw that review because not long after, they did just that. My all time favourite UB40 song.
Ub40 to the world🎉
😇
pienso parecido Nick
