I would love to see a Zelda randomizer where every character is randomized. Imagine Ganondorf asking you to find his cuckoos and rewarding you something random. And Talon from Lon Lon Ranch is the final boss chucking electric beams at you and turning into a demon while Dampe provides light beams and hearts and grants you the light arrows.
I subscribed because of this. I was excited to see his whole randomized no logic run because I was interested in it but I knew I wasn't talented enough

Because of satellite internet, i can't watch live streams anymore... however, been watching this and a bunch of other speed runners on my own quest to lose some weight... mostly because I can't be bothered to SIT DOWN and watch these while I could be doing something else, so I got the idea of doing an hour of weighted cardio and have something to watch and keep my attention and prevent me from getting bored. These randomizers are pretty awesome btw.
I'm only 6 minutes in when making this comment but this run is blessed. All monochrome colors, a mweep sound navi(way better than base navi sound) and fairy fountain music whenever traveling(hyrule field).
Really wish I had known how busted Deku nuts were when I was younger. I don't think I ever used them because I figured not doing damage meant they weren't good.
dekunuts really are quite a paradox. they are literally the most unnessesary item in the game because they add nothing to anything. but on the other hand,its the most useful item for combat because stunning enemys is just broke and nothing else can do it
LPFan boomerang can stun some enemies, slingshot too but not many. Hell, even the shield can stun a couple enemies. The usefulness of the deku nuts comes from the fact that its fast and has an area of effect. Just clarifying.
that sometimes happens,but not consistantly. the bumerang and slingshot mostly deal damagemand then its a really low value. and they cant be used as adult(except for glitches).

This might sound pretty weird, but I honestly like very long videos. I usually put them on while I farm in other games like Destiny, OR when I'm working on my D&D stuff for my next session or just world building. You never know when someone might say something that sparks an idea or two :3 Thanks Dry you're the best!

Lycanroc Dusk At some point during the first hour of the run (dont ask me when exactly, as I am just watching the run straight away) he says that Logic Settings have an advanced setup where you can make it check whether you can perform certain tricks that gives you access to some items (such the item that was the Blue Fire) when Zfg jumpslashed to get early access. If zfg decided to tell the radomizer he didnt know a way to perform it, the blue fire wouldnt have been there.

This kind of stream is really relaxing. I just put it in the background and I do other stuff, while the monotone (monotonotic? I dunno English is not my first language but you get the point) voice of ZFG brings me good RNG during my homework and tests.
Hey Zfg, if you end up uploading more OoT Randomizer videos you might consider putting the date you did it in the title to differentiate it from the rest of them. Somebody scrolling through your channel for randomizer content in the future might appreciate it as it will make it easier to sort through what they have/haven't watched. Also, a dedicated randomizer playlist might be worth considering if you end up with a ton of videos uploaded. Cheers!
@Spire Wolves I'm well aware of the feature. I was simply advocating for better organization amongst videos to improve legibility so you don't end up with a ton of videos that look extremely similar. The red bar feature is also odd in the sense that it marks videos with the red bar if you simply watch the video preview without actually clicking on the video, further adding to the confusion to whether or not you actually watched a video at first glance. You could also have be looking for a specific video you have already watched that has a red bar, but it's indistinguishable from other videos with similar titles if you have watched them all, so you wouldn't be able to find the exact video you're looking for to rewatch. Better organization does not hurt anything.
@Spire Wolves That red line has a tendency to reset it's self, so it's not that helpful if your memory lasts longer than the red line. Besides, it's not as helpful as changing the title of the video. I get to the point on some channels where I no longer even bother to look at the thumbnails, and instead find it faster to use the windows find function to search the page for key words.
The red line indicates how much of the video you've watched, not necessarily WHAT videos you've watched. So if I accidentally click on a video and immediately back out, it still shows up as a little line under the video.
I enjoy speedruns in general, even though I wouldn't say I'm part of the community, but I have to say, randomized speedruns of some of my favorite games are one of the highlights of my free time. These are very interesting and it's great to see/hear people figure out where to go and what to do next.
Instead of randomize notes, there should be a randomize songs option that uses songs from Majora's Mask. And possibly ocarina covers of Wind Waker's songs.

I'm not sure if it was answered, but you asked what is the lowest race time you can get for the Epona race. Nintendo Power Magazine actually challenged everyone to it. Everyone who attempted it back then managed to only get 46 seconds as the lowest time. A TH-camr tried to see how well he could do any couldn't get under 46. I'm not saying 45 isn't possible but 46 seemed to be the best that most people who attempted it could get.

by that logic ocarina is an aoe stun and it has no real time delay(you playing the song freezing everything around youÜ

This kind of stream is really relaxing. I just put it in the background and I do other stuff, while the monotone (monotonotic? I dunno English is not my first language but you get the point) voice of ZFG brings me good RNG during my homework and tests.

Hey Zfg, if you end up uploading more OoT Randomizer videos you might consider putting the date you did it in the title to differentiate it from the rest of them. Somebody scrolling through your channel for randomizer content in the future might appreciate it as it will make it easier to sort through what they have/haven't watched. Also, a dedicated randomizer playlist might be worth considering if you end up with a ton of videos uploaded. Cheers!

@Spire Wolves I'm well aware of the feature. I was simply advocating for better organization amongst videos to improve legibility so you don't end up with a ton of videos that look extremely similar. The red bar feature is also odd in the sense that it marks videos with the red bar if you simply watch the video preview without actually clicking on the video, further adding to the confusion to whether or not you actually watched a video at first glance. You could also have be looking for a specific video you have already watched that has a red bar, but it's indistinguishable from other videos with similar titles if you have watched them all, so you wouldn't be able to find the exact video you're looking for to rewatch. Better organization does not hurt anything.
@Spire Wolves That red line has a tendency to reset it's self, so it's not that helpful if your memory lasts longer than the red line.
Besides, it's not as helpful as changing the title of the video. I get to the point on some channels where I no longer even bother to look at the thumbnails, and instead find it faster to use the windows find function to search the page for key words.
Good randomizer skills
The red line indicates how much of the video you've watched, not necessarily WHAT videos you've watched. So if I accidentally click on a video and immediately back out, it still shows up as a little line under the video.
I like how he lets us see his twitch chat in his vods. His twitch chat is funny and how he interacts with this is awlsome
I enjoy speedruns in general, even though I wouldn't say I'm part of the community, but I have to say, randomized speedruns of some of my favorite games are one of the highlights of my free time. These are very interesting and it's great to see/hear people figure out where to go and what to do next.

My first experience watching the randomizer playthroughs. I was pleasantly surprised by it. Hopefully be able to catch a stream of it sometime.
Instead of randomize notes, there should be a randomize songs option that uses songs from Majora's Mask. And possibly ocarina covers of Wind Waker's songs.
The Majora's Mask randomizer has music from other games, including non-Zelda titles.
When i say "songs" I'm referring to the songs played on the ocarina.
Ive watched so many zfg videos I can't even begin to remember the storyline or actual sequence of events for this game anymore. Ugh guess I have to watch a casual playthrough.

I'm not sure if it was answered, but you asked what is the lowest race time you can get for the Epona race. Nintendo Power Magazine actually challenged everyone to it. Everyone who attempted it back then managed to only get 46 seconds as the lowest time. A TH-camr tried to see how well he could do any couldn't get under 46. I'm not saying 45 isn't possible but 46 seemed to be the best that most people who attempted it could get.
