Hahaha I love this video. I am a nurse, an herbalist, a midwife, a grandmother, a Christian. I grow herbs, I make salves, tinctures, teas and remedies. I am also Irish, Scottish and Cherokee. Granny Witchin is what we do here, and what we will do tomorrow, and what my grandchildren's children will do. The Old Ways. Thank you for your words.

Well said, Patera. When I was 5, my grandpa took me to an Indian man in the mountains of WV. I was scared, but i knew my grandpa wouldn't let anyone hurt me. I had warts on my hands, and the Indian rubbed my hands with something and spoke some words. I had to pay him a penny a wart. 7 cents, never have had warts again. They were gone the next day. I'm 57 now, and that's a fond memory I hold onto. God provides everything we need to heal. Praise Him
My panties are in a knot about the way people have been talking to you. I am so amazed at the disrespect out there. Our country has fallen in the ditch and a lot of people jumped right in there in the ditch
Spot on Patara! My grandma just passed last year. 97, and grew her own food every year. She also grew her own herbs. She was a born again Christian, and had a deep personal relationship with Jesus. If not for her knowledge of how to use herbs, as the Bible says to, I would have suffered major burns on my arm when I was 17. She was teaching me how to can jelly, and I accidentally picked up the wrong jar, and it spilled all over my arm. SHe ran outside, grabbed a few herbs and aloe, came back in and knelt by my side, held my arm, prayed for me, and then told me to sleep. I slept for about an hour, woke up, and my arm was TOTALLY healed. I have no doubt my Savior Jesus healed me, only because of my grandma's faith and obedience to Jesus. As our Bible says, "Heal thyself with thy food" What the heck do people think God was talking about? HERBS. And yes, I am from southwest VA (Coeburn) And it is where my grandma was born and raised. Love you Patara!!!!!!!
We used to have lemon balm here in some pots. My wife accidentally burned her arm and immediately crushed some lemon balm leaves and put them on the burn and put some gauze around it and the next day you couldn't even tell it was burned!😍😍😍
Sick of all the offended people, I'm offended by them also! So if you loose a few, it's all the better Patera! We need more people to take the same direction in this country! Love you girl, get better, blessings to you and the family!
Hi, I've been watching your channel for a while now. My great-grandmother came over from Ireland as a small child to Bryson City, NC. She had 15 children and my grandmother had 16. May God bless you and your channel.
God put everything we need to heal ourselves 0n this good earth for us to use. Unfortunately we have lost a lot of this knowledge. Time to bring it back...especially with the way things are going. Love and appreciate you...
I finally gave my last granddaughter her Bible for Valentine’s Day. She is 19 now so I gave her a women’s study Bible. She was so excited. Thank you Patara I took your suggestion and gave each of my grands a Bible this year. ❤
Granny witchin like canning, gardening kitting and weaving, are all old ways that we should all be learning and passing on to the next generation. Good for you!
My great grandmother was a granny witch in West Virginia. She delivered babies and healed folks. There weren’t any doctors around so it was her or nothing.
A few years ago, I watched your homemade cough syrup video. I made that syrup for my family because store bought syrup is so expensive. When my entire family of seven people came down with the VID at the same time, we used that syrup and we all felt better within two and three days. Patara, please keep teaching us the OLD ways. The OLD ways are the only thing that is going to keep this society going. God Bless you and praying that you keep getting well.
Long story! Warts! My papaw removed them from my right hand when i was about 12 years, I had about 7or 8! He was a Baptist preacher, I lived with my grandparents about 6 years so I could work around the farm while papaw went on the road to preach! Thru the hill country of West Virginia, Tennessee, and back home to Kentucky! My grandmother was Cherokee and Scottish, my grand father was Scottish/Irish, and my dad was German! I am a retired Marine over 70 and still hear her voice saying! Listen too the voice inside you! I lived with a granny witch! And loved her! Never thought of papaw as a granny witch!❤ Keep it up! Love ya! Semper Fi!
I'm an aromatherapist and boy Patara, you're correct about rosemary and lavender essential oils used for your health. Both of these essential oils can easily reach upper and lower parts of your respiratory tract (by diffusing them or inhaling them), and because of their well-documented antimicrobial and anti‐inflammatory properties, many people successfully use them for RTI’s (respiratory tract infections). Hospitals actually use Lavender essential oil for many different things. They would be a great addition to any prepper’s inventory! I am never without them to diffuse in cold and flu season. Always research them before use so you use them correctly!
You preach it Girl. I'm from upper East TN. I was taught to granny witch. I am also of Cherokee and Scotch-Irish heritage. My Cherokee Great-grandmother lived in the mountains of Union County and Claiborne, from the small band that hid to prevent being sent to trail of tears. She was a " granny witch", medicine woman, you choose. There were no doctors. My grandmother told me that her mother raised and foraged medicinal herbs. People would come to her from all around, or she would go to them. People better wake up. With loss of medical providers and pharmaceuticals we better learn to care for ourselves as much as possible. I know I do for me and my family. Love ya Patara.
I will quote Candace Owens and say for people so offended by life "life is hard, get a helmet, I can't be your mommy!! " im done with it too Patera. Continue to Take very good care ! We were 60 ° yesterday in missouri and covered in snow today. Thinking of all of you
I love offending people!! I laugh at the more they get offended the madder they get! Wife says I shouldn’t do it but just can’t help myself!! Carry on girl you’re doing just fine!
You will not lose me. I grew up in deep appalachian mountains of West Virginia. I'm pushing 70 years old. I know exactly what granny witching is, and I'm alive today because of that practice. My parents didn't have money for insurance. We didn't go to doctors. I've chewed my share of yellow roots and other herbs during my growing up. Thank you for keeping the old ways alive. Stay strong and keep praying.
Hi. Here in SW VA, I never heard the expression, but I got it. My grandmother could tell me everything growing outside in the grass or field that you could eat. I wish I'd paid more attention. We will surely need these skills again. I'm learning.
I would never leave your channel, you bring me calm. My days are usually stressful or busy, not complaining. I used only herbs, no pharmaceuticals, thank God. Hope you feel better. 🇨🇦
I am 74 and I used alot of granny witching on my children and my granddaughters and still use it on myself. Alot of people will wish they knew some of these old ways when the crap hits the fan.
I’ve been a nurse and when the pandemic came around I retired no jab for me. I got into herbs and now I do tinctures, salves , and lotions. I’m stating into soaps and mushroom harvesting so I’m a granny witch and dang proud of it keep doing you and I’m glad your on the road to recovery n your family…. Much love
I'm chuckling listening to you Patara, why? Just yesterday afternoon i loaded a young mum and her 4 year old daughter up with an armload of chinese mugwort, tulsi ( holy) basil and valerian, fresh cut from my gardens... we marvelled at the size of the comfrey and the gorgeous blooms on the elderberry ( it's late summer here) and all three of us talked about the uses for each thing... even the littlest one. Call me names and cast aspersions, it slides off my shoulders like water shedding off a goose... doesn't stop the mugwort growing, doesn't stop the elderberry blooming, so it's obviously not meant for me or my plants ❤️
Omg! People gotta get over themselves. Every area has different terminology for the same things. People get their panties in a bunch over the stupidest things. You tell them Patara... It shows their ack of intelligence.
I’ve been granny witchin’ myself for the past week. Some of the church ladies will be on me for not going to the doctor, but I have faith that my God knew what he was doing when He made plants and gave me an immune response. At this point, I trust my body more than any doctor.
Thank you for being a strong woman who speaks the truth ❤️! I'm born and bred in the Appalachian Mountains, and my Great mawmaw was full blooded Cherokee 🦅🪶 and my mawmaw "always" took care of me with all the other 17 grandchildren with herbs 🌿 she would tell me, come over here and let me granny witch you so you'll feel better! Let me tell all that would question her or you.... my granny was Angel, who walked on this planet and loved the Lord!! THE truth about those who say ridiculous things to you is because you're a Strong woman who doesn't mince words! LOVE, LOVE your channel! Keep being you! Praying for you and your family 🙏
I like the term granny witching. Everyone called my first boss Granny. She was from the hills of Tennessee. Twice she granny watched me. Once my thumb got pushed into the deep fryer. Granny stuck my thumb in the ice tea rock and then made me keep it in a glass of tea. The bank ladies thought my mom should be called and I should go to the hospital. Granny said I would have a terrible burn if I did that. My thumb was just red and tender. Another time I had caught something that settled in my lungs. Could not shake the cough. When I got to work, Granny led me to the kitchen where a pot was steaming on the stove. Must have been 3 onions in the pot She had me lean over it and covered my head. Did that 3 times that day. Cough was gone.
I don’t guess I ever heard old time remedies called ‘grannywitching’ before but they sure work. I have been doing it for years. You are one of the most down to earth, common sense women on TH-cam and I learn so much from you. I too think you should put some of these old remedies and recipes in book form along with entertaining stories of how they came about and about your ancestors. Thanks for all you do to share your knowledge and wisdom with us.
You go girl!! I'm from Hazard, Perry Co, Kentucky, deep in the hills of Appalachia. My direct Grandfather and his family were the first people to settle there in the 1700s. My family first came to this country in 1620 and every single surname in my direct line was here before 1700, no "newbies" in my family history. I'm Scotch-Irish, a bit of English and Welsh. Hell, our people made this country what it is...we're the ones that fought the Revolution and won it! I've done genealogy for nearly 30 years now and I had some remarkable Granny Witches in my family, most of them were wives of mountain Preachers! People in this country today simply don't know history, and don't want to know. Schools stopped teaching true history in the 20th century, a great many foreigners pouring in at the same time. And now look at us. Don't you ever stop being exactly who and what you are...Salt of the Earth.
I live in SC and I am 75 years old. My mama took me to a man that removed warts on me. I was about 4 or 5 years old but I remember him talking to me and spitting on the warts. When I got back in the car I tried to wipe the spit off but it was already dry and in about a week they were all gone!! I am very thankful for "granny witch men" !!! I am a Christian and I will always believe that God had a part in it!! I hope you will soon feel better and always listen to your grandmother!!
Amen sister Patara, great video! People who want to erase the past are bound to repeat it. I love the old ways and way taught by my great granny and my mamaw . We were just poor farmers and didn’t have money to run to the doctor every time we were sick. You were rubbed down with salve, an old towel was heated by the wood stove and wrapped and pinned around you and you were given homemade cough syrup. You then went to bed and sweated out your fever. My grandparents did it, I did it with my children and now they do it with their children. Thank you Lord for letting us learn the old ways…granny witching. Continuing to lift both you and James up in prayer for healing and a speedy recovery. ❤️
Patera, you are so right. My grandmom raised me, she was in her 70's and she used many of the old ways. If you had a bad chest cold she would use a mustard plaster and put it on your chest and put you in bed under the covers, if you had an earache she would put onions on your ears in a little pillow after cooking them to draw out the infections and Black sauve she used for everything I think but today you can't ever buy the original black sauve, she used many things to heal and they worked, but there was no money to be made just back to health was the goal and many lose sight of the Wisdom our people knew. Thank you for sharing your medicine and speaking the truth. WE APPRECIATE all your knowledge. God Bless you , feel better soon. from NJ
People need to take the plank out of their own eye before they even think to try to take the speck out of someone else's eye. Thank you Patara for standing and when you do all else, stand. God bless you and continue to heal you and bless you. ❤
We've been in the Salem Witch hunt 2.0 for the last few years!! These people with their self-righteous indignation against WORDS....are taking part in the 2.0 (2020- Now) Witch Hunt. A lot of innocent people died because of people like that. YOU GO, Patara!!!! I love your channel ❤❤❤❤
Patara, I am so sorry that you are having to deal with this foolishness while you are ill and recovering. From California and raised out on the desert. We didn't use the term "Granny witch" but practiced the art of using what we had on hand to get well. Mother did the best she could with the few things she had to care for all 10 of her children. For someone to get all fussy and act like a 'judgy spit camel' is an indication for their own short comings. Get well soon.
My Navaho friend had never been to a Dr. In her mid thirties she had had herbs from the reservation hanging braided on the wall. She didn't know their names only what they were good to heal. Ancient knowledge is amazing.
Some people are so soft nowadays. It makes me mad people are insulting you about our ancestors and what we were taught. I'm Irish and Cherokee and I'll use whatever word my Grandmother used. I knew you would address these comments from rude ignorant people. My Grandmother was a healer as well. We hardly ever had to go to the doctor when I was young. God put everything we need on this planet. Love you, get well soon.
Don't let ignorant people upset you!! I'm glad your feeling better!! I wish I new all those remedies years ago. You go girl! If that's all some people have to worry about, then they have no clue what's coming. Hang in there Patara, I hope to see you in heaven soon.
My family was called "primitive" because we heal at home, we do not schedule a doctor's appointment for a broken nail, we make tinctures, salves and "witch stuff" and above all, we have no insurance (we have no debts and enough money saved to pay for needs). I love being primitive!
I’m Southern Baptist, but several years ago on a road trip I listened to a Catholic priest’s lesson on giving up being offended for Lent. I was so moved by that and do my best to live that out. God bless Patara, feel better soon.
I had an old achololic aunt who was catholic. She loved beer so her " sacrifice " was to give up beer and drink whiskey instead. Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission is better than offering (1 Samuel 15:22)
Patara my background is from the hills of Kentucky and my great great grandmother was also a healer. She had 11 kids and was devoted to making people heal!!!! Fire cider in my fridge and herbal teas in my cabinet. Essential oils in my medicine cabinet. Keep doing you!!!! We all love you ferociously!!!
Don't back down patara! I back you 100%. I am currently granny witching myself to get off the medications I take. Started a combination of turmeric, acv, honey, salt and black pepper a couple days ago and so far so good. In fact feel the best today than I have in over 2 years. God bless you and your family.
When I did my psychiatric nursing rotation many years ago, our theory instructor (a masters prepared R.N.) always started her lectures with "Technology is proving ancient wisdoms," Most modern pharmaceuticals are standardized synthetic versions of natural herbs and plants.
My mother didn't have a lot at her disposal..but she would fry up garlic and onion and other herbs (depending on what she had) in Vick's vaporub and put it in pouches and pin it to our chest and backs under our shirts. She also gave us the homemade whiskey cough syrup...and we got better! I also have taken away warts for many family/friends...as my dad taught me. Pipe smoke into the ears of a baby with an ear infection? 7th son of a 7th son....herbs are awesome! Too many to name here that I was raised on. Make no mistake...we will turn to modern medicine if needed. But a lot of times the old ways work wonders!
Voodoo. I got this name, VoodooKitchenMama from my brother-in-law. He had a skin condition on his lower leg for years. The doctor tried everything, but nothing worked. I made a lotion (in my kitchen) added some things together, and sent it to him. The doctor asked him how did he get it to clear up? My BIL replied, "My sister in law made some voodoo stuff in her kitchen for me".
Thank you for standing up for the ways of the hill people, my ancestors came from Tennessee and were Christians and healers, and extremely self sufficient because of the hardships of their times.
Patara my grandmother had a lot of natural remedies too. She also made food without using measuring cups/ teaspoons ect. I totally believe in the natural ways. Keep speaking truth.
At the hospital I work at they are renaming hardware used as the names have been named offensive. It's ridiculous. My 12 year old gets upset at somethings but he is being taught to stop getting so offended and so upset if he gets criticism. I told him I am not raising a boy who can't handle the truth. I am happy to hear you sounding better.
🙏💐🙏 Prayers for a Speedy recovery and Thank you Father for all the wonderful plants you have provided for relief of our symptoms! ❤ Love you to pieces 🥰🙏💐💜🥰
My family is from Appalachia. My grandma was a granny witch and so was her mom. It’s an honor for me to learn their ways. So glad you are such a strong woman and an inspiration. Keep up the good work!
Hang tough. I know you will. I am here in Canada and am so grateful to God that I discovered your channel. I am a 72 year old male granny witch and am also a Christian. Love you nd stay safe.
I will never leave your channel Patara, i appreciate you and am so grateful to you- more than I can say. Good for you on everything you said! Stay strong and feisty! God continue to bless you and bring a complete recovery from whatever this crud was. 🙏❤👍
You tell them ❤ I lived with my grandma ! I remember as a child I had a bad cold and cough ! She fixed a mixture of wiskey honey and lemon juice I had a good night sleep😂😂😂
Agree. When we couldn't get honey my dad would chop onions up, cook them in some bacon grease, when almost browned he'd add some molasses, yummiest cold and cough syrup!
U need to make a book on “Granny Witching” with some stories, and include the plant, what it helps with, and the recipe. That book would really sell!!!! Love❤️ and prayers🙏🏻!!! Love ur channel, been watching since about time Covid started👍😊🙏🏻❤️
I guess that’s what I am! Who knew!!!! A Christian, granny witch! I like it. I kept all my kids and grandkids didn’t get that damn shot!!! And I shared my knowledge and horsey stuff with many! ❤️🙏🏻❤️
100 % agree. I'm also of Scottish and Cherokee descent and proud and thankful of all the teachings of the old ways passed down to me...and passed down to my children. grandchildren and now great grandchildren. I have a rich ancestral history, and that's what me and my family live by.
I’ve been learning herbs hot and heavy for about 6 months. Growing several last summer. I got many many seeds to start soon. Last summer I foraged my new property last year. I found evening primrose, teasel, burdock, plantain, lady’s thumb, catnip, rosehips, boneset, nettle, wild lettuce, self heal and more just on my 4 acres. God provides!!! I will grow other stuff this year. I guess I’m a grannie witch!
I’m from Southeastern Ky and my sister and myself went to my neighbor and he took off our warts. My sister had them on her lip and one eye. I had three on my hands and one was a seed wart with in one month they were all gone and that was about 35 years ago. He has since passed away now.
I’ve been learning a lot in the last 3 yrs on the herbs and weeds and flowers too that God created for us to use. More than half of our meds are made from these. My property has lots of these little gems, I’m so excited when I find out what they are. I’ve picked lots of mullein that’s clean, and made garlic honey, I love learning all of the natural things we should use. If that’s what you or your ancestors called it, then call it that sister. I understand why they are worried about the “word”, but to say you are NOT a Christian shouldn’t be. You show many fruits, and I’m so happy I’ve found your channel too. Been here 2 yrs or more now. I pray for a speedy recovery Patara for you. Im not leaving ❤🤗🙏🏻😘
Thanks, Patara. I’m in the hospital with a blood clot in my leg. They are giving me blood thinners and BP meds cuz I had a 210/100 reading. I’ve said no to the morphine, contrast dye and insulin they suggested. They say my blood sugar is high and then feed me nothing but carbs. Can’t wait to get out of here and back to prepping. God bless you.
I'm descended from Granny Witches with 6 toes and webbed feet! I'm proud of my Witches teats!! We know almost nothing of this reality! Love you folks!! Blessings!!
Patera you put that beautifully you are always a craft person with words. I’m so happy that you’re feeling better, I’m so grateful that you are who you are and I am sending you much love and prayers and a great big hug.❤🙏
When I was little, I remember people bringing their children to see my grandfather when their child had thrush. The local doctor would send people to him to treat that because whatever he did was more effective than whatever the doctor did. I was very young, not yet in school but I remember this.
PATARA WE LOVE YOU!!!!!! YOUR AWESOME!!!!! My wife and I are with you 100% wish you were closer. North eastern Pennsylvania here and trying our best. Would love to meet you before the Lord calls us home. Best prayers for you and your family XOXOXO Ray and TINA
I've been following your channel for a few years now and I don't comment a lot. I just Love you and what you do for this community. Thank you for what you do and what you stand for. God Bless you and your family. 👃👃👃

I've been watching your channel for a while now.

Like my dad always said" if you don't have something nice to say- don't say anything at all". Alot of people need to learn that!!
Around here we say 'Bless their/ her/ his heart(s)' when we can't say anything nice, lol.

Can you repost the vid on cough syrup? Thx 💗

I lived with a granny witch! And loved her!
Never thought of papaw as a granny witch!❤
Keep it up!
Love ya!
Thinking of all of you
😂 for the Candicecomment, she's great...hearts for your tenacity ❤❤❤
Yep, Missouri. Don't like the weather,,,just wait a minute. 🤠
One accident after another on I-44. We have a 6:00 flight and trying to get to the airport 😢. Stay safe out here!
@@monana8706 terrible! Yes my husband could not get to work! Go safely!
Hmmm, I just figured it was an Appalachian term. But again, the culture has always fascinated me and I have read a lot about it.
I love offending people!! I laugh at the more they get offended the madder they get! Wife says I shouldn’t do it but just can’t help myself!! Carry on girl you’re doing just fine!
I do it all the time, love watching the crybabies cry all over hearing the truth 😂😂
Me also. 😂
Before I retired, and had to deal with angry people, the nastier they got, the nicer I would be….it drove them crazy!
My husband is your twin. The more frustrated they get the more he laughs.
Thank you Patera! The truth comes hard to some!
I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better. Please continue to preach and tell the truth and share your knowledge.
I would never leave your channel, you bring me calm. My days are usually stressful or busy, not complaining. I used only herbs, no pharmaceuticals, thank God. Hope you feel better. 🇨🇦
Thank you!
Amen to that Patara brings me such Joy n Encouragement learn so much I absolutely love her ❤
Learning the old ways is so important to learn how to take care of ourselves and loved ones.
Absolutely!
I am 74 and I used alot of granny witching on my children and my granddaughters and still use it on myself. Alot of people will wish they knew some of these old ways when the crap hits the fan.
Preach it and teach it. God put every plant on this earth for us to use.
❤❤❤
Genesis ! Just reread I today! The Almighty blesses everyday ! 😊
Amen!
AMEN and AMEN ❤
I am proud and humbled to be able to treat my own ills when our Drs. Arent trained to heal. A healed person is a customer lost. My personal opinion.
❤❤❤
Yes, absolutely agree 100%!
My doctor did NOT like it when I referred to myself as a “customer.” I agree with you 100%!
I agree!
In total agreement. ❤
Much love
Great to meet you 🤩✨✨💕🙏☮️ 💕💕💕
That lil virus/bug picked the wrong host 😂😂😂
Time to Shake n Bake❤
❤❤❤
Thank you for helping others with your skills. God Bless you❤
Love ya Girl keep up the good work,
no pokey here and I am still alive and did not get sick with the Asian flu
I am ALL for Granny Witching!! Better than conventional meds (poison chemicals)!! 👍🤒
Must have been 3 onions in the pot
She had me lean over it and covered my head. Did that 3 times that day. Cough was gone.
We should all be wearing that Yoda T-shirt that says: "Offend you I did? A F*** I don't give."
Love this 👏
😅
I don’t guess I ever heard old time remedies called ‘grannywitching’ before but they sure work. I have been doing it for years. You are one of the most down to earth, common sense women on TH-cam and I learn so much from you. I too think you should put some of these old remedies and recipes in book form along with entertaining stories of how they came about and about your ancestors.
Thanks for all you do to share your knowledge and wisdom with us.
“ the Poplar report” ( Steven Poplar) just gave you a shout out.. hallelujah and amen. 🌺🌺🌺
Which report? How did I miss this?
Love my granny witching. The less we depend on others to heal us the better off we are!
Had a neighbor who got rid of poison oak.
Amen!
Get well soon.
i love your "granny witchin'" - god bless you, patara. don't you ever back down to anyone girlfriend. i'm so glad you're feeling better. love you.
Can I get an AMEN, sister....say it again...AWESOME!!!
My Navaho friend had never been to a Dr. In her mid thirties she had had herbs from the reservation hanging braided on the wall. She didn't know their names only what they were good to heal. Ancient knowledge is amazing.
I use Vicks in my nostrils daily and drink a small bit of Tonic water. I've never had the virus or a cold since.
A wise woman once said, "I'm here to comfort the afflicted -and- to afflict the comfortable!"
😂❤😂❤
I'm proud of my "Granny Witching"❤ My grandson calls my herbal books "Spell Books" 🤣 Your squeaky cry for the sad people is GREAT!!!
I agree, 100% with everything you’ve said Patara!
Amen
She's just terrific .I respect her so much and her info and straight forwardness .
Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission is better than offering
(1 Samuel 15:22)
You are still flushed, don’t overdo! Remember, take care of the temple. Praying for you!
Stand firm Patara!
We stand with you 💯✔
Patara my background is from the hills of Kentucky and my great great grandmother was also a healer. She had 11 kids and was devoted to making people heal!!!! Fire cider in my fridge and herbal teas in my cabinet. Essential oils in my medicine cabinet. Keep doing you!!!!
We all love you ferociously!!!
My Nana was full of home remedies! And they work!
I still rely on my nanas home remedies today and they work.
Don't back down patara! I back you 100%. I am currently granny witching myself to get off the medications I take. Started a combination of turmeric, acv, honey, salt and black pepper a couple days ago and so far so good. In fact feel the best today than I have in over 2 years. God bless you and your family.
Dr. Livinggood's tumeric with Omega -3 supplement is something my friends really like. Want to try it as soon as the budget allows.
I’m doing the same thing. ❤
When I did my psychiatric nursing rotation many years ago, our theory instructor (a masters prepared R.N.) always started her lectures with "Technology is proving ancient wisdoms,"
Most modern pharmaceuticals are standardized synthetic versions of natural herbs and plants.
It's all semantics. Call it "natural" or "organic" and they'd be all over it. You go, Patara, and tell'em how it is. Get better soon!
Exactly!!
Absolutely right!!! They need the "buzz words", Holistic, sustainable!!!!!!
I now know I have a granny witchin cupboard in my kitchen filled with many healing teas and honey, etc. Feel better Patera!
I cannot appreciate this enough… like it enough…. Heck love it enough!!!
Thank you for standing up for the ways of the hill people, my ancestors came from Tennessee and were Christians and healers, and extremely self sufficient because of the hardships of their times.
Your Great Great Grandmother sounds like an sounds like an herbalist today.
Patara my grandmother had a lot of natural remedies too. She also made food without using measuring cups/ teaspoons ect. I totally believe in the natural ways. Keep speaking truth.
❤
Oh Lord Patara - Ive been praying for you 💚💚💚 (Ireland)
I absolutely love fiesty Patera. Happy your "granny witchin'" produced good results. 😂
I will never leave your channel Patara, i appreciate you and am so grateful to you- more than I can say. Good for you on everything you said! Stay strong and feisty! God continue to bless you and bring a complete recovery from whatever this crud was. 🙏❤👍
ABSOLUTELY THE BEST MESSAGE!! Thank you!
Raw honey, lemon and brandy is our remedy also...It beats over the counter cough medicine.
My mother used to do that. Her family was from eastern Tenn
You are inspirational, Patara! LOVE THIS VIDEO SO MUCH!!! And I never knew it was the term but I AM A GRANNY WITCH!!! So proud!
100 % agree. I'm also of Scottish and Cherokee descent and proud and thankful of all the teachings of the old ways passed down to me...and passed down to my children. grandchildren and now great grandchildren. I have a rich ancestral history, and that's what me and my family live by.
Momma always said...if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything. Feel better :)
My Nannie healed...she could talk the fire out of a burn...and so many natural things...Her people came from the mountains of Tennessee.....
I'm almost 65 and if I could move down there and follow you around each day I would! Love you
She's Back!!!
Glad you're feeling better!!! 👩🏼🌾🌱🌷🇺🇸
Love your witchery music😅. Glad your feeling better! I love you Patara💙 and your funky turkey!
I wondered about that poor turkey. I’m a city girl and wondered if all female turkeys looked like that 😂😂
Thanks, Patara.
The Old Ways Will ALWAYS Be The Best Ways. Keep on being who you are Patara. We love ya and appreciate you so very much! ❤ Sending healing prayers 🙏
❤ me to she would be my best friend!😅
