Another cinematic battle for you.
I had initially planned to make this around 10 minutes long but I accidentally deleted the save where I was playing this battle so was unable to get more footage on the same map with the same armies. The next one will be longer and more epic!

As a history buff, Bannerlord player, and slight muso, I can say I loved it. You turned a mere game into a form of artwork. Make no mistake what you do with these Bannerlord videos is a form of art. Hats off to you. Subscribed.

the sound design at Tale Worlds better take note from this video. Felt really crazy and brutal with just some more intense sound design. Very well done, earned a sub homie
I’ve been saying this I honestly don’t know what TW is thinking with their sound design, even the marching sounds so shallow an unrealistic

Aaahh yes.. typical launch Sturgia. So heavily out-armored. I'm glad they buffed their armor line within the past year.
Anyway, awesome video dude. Really good attention to detail here. A focus on viewer immersion. Liked and subscribed.
The brilliance that goes into these sound effects is not only the timing but individual soldiers as well yelling the condition of the battle in their own eyes in desperation. For Vlandia... those soldier’s solo cries supported the idea that the battle was heading south for them immediately.
2:54 “We are all dead!” strikes a menacing blow within anyone who understands who’s winning the fight so far in that time stamp.
Sound effects are an art with massive battles such as these and you must good sir are a master of the sound of battle. That’s a sub coming your way.

The music was so delicate for such a brutal thing but it worked so nicely. Visually you see the brutality but the sadness in people dying in that way is conveyed so well with the music choice.

A thing about strategy on this game and any medieval game is to never give the flanks of your formation. You snatch it not your enemy. To do that in this game you need them to approach you and commit to the attack with their entire formation clutched to yours and then send the charge command. When you do so they start to “jail” the enemy troops and kill them from 3 fronts, eating their flanks and destroying the center.
It looks fantastc! The music is top notch and the cavarly charge at the end - brilliant.

All is very cinematic until the armies clash then its just a classic Mount and Blade brawl haha. Love it instant memories of swinging a 2h axe on the ramparts

If Taleworld would add the feature of battle replay, you could enjoy your own "Epic" battles. too bad they haven't released this feature yet.
The build up was a bit too much and the ending was too abrupt but everything in between was amazing. You're extremely talented at getting the shots and cutting them.

Well, Vlandia was going to win. That was the plan, but like I said in the description I messed up the save and couldn't get back onto the same map to finish it hahah. So we can all just imagine that there was a bunch of epic shots where Sturgians were getting chopped up and run down by cav haha.

Nice one dude. I realized that while you are giving orders to your troops, that big purple flag and other tiny green flags are not visible. How could you do that? I'm already sick of those flags. Damages the reality..

Though it seems a bit "lopsided".
The Sturgians seem ridiculously under-equipped compared to the Vlandians, should have fewer super-heavily armored soldiers on the Vlandian side or have them be vastly outnumbered, so that the final cavalry charge seems like it "saves the day".
It looks like a peasant mob charging into a line of footknights, you expect them to break and run even without the cavalry charge.
But I very much like the use of the camera angles and music. Gives it a real cinematic feel.
How many year i have to wait before i could play a mount and blade game at total war's scale.
Total war plays different than banner lord and takes a way better pc so depending on your budget not long in fact a mod should come out sometime when you can up unit size even more

@@hamzab.4341 yes but with the graphics of bannerlord and how units interact it takes a better pc than total war it’s common sense of course you can use warband with a formation mod and it wouldn’t need as good a pc
Innacurate , the vlandians didn’t use their semi automatic crossbows and the sturgeons didn’t use their big axes.
The back spears are hurting my eyes!
