There is no shame in the struggle for mental health. The battles that you win every day are the definition of courage. You are important to those who love you, the world is a better place with you in it.❤
@reachmeorteachme I know I fight some of them too. I think to us it looks like other people are naturally happy but most times they have their struggles too. It may not be the same or to the same degree but this world is a harsh place to live in for us all. ❤️
Singer Songwriter from Lexington, KY. Chris Stapleton is the GOAT. 🎸🎶❤️ Unconditional love but wife is bi-polar with depression. He wants to take her pain away but he can’t. He is willing to take all she has to give (fire away)knowing she has these issues. 😢 Yep you get it. 👍🏼 Suicide prevention and awareness. It’s a very deep song that you may not totally understand without the video. My situation is similar to yours. I hibernate she does not and forces me out periodically. I was not always this way but I am now. 🤷🏻♂️
I just wanted to give you a hug. So from 🇺🇸, here’s a hug 🤗. I love “real” reactors, and I love when people are vulnerable because so many of us that use TH-cam as a way of socializing, it’s for a lot of the same reasons. So thank you for being open and you got a sub from me 💗🙏🏼🇺🇸 God Bless
Thanks mate. I'm trying to be as real as I can be. I'm a very introverted anti-social type myself, and the channel is a way of trying to put myself out there more, being more vulnerable and less closed off to the world.
Hang in there brother. The meaning is that there are people in all of lives who love and care about us. They have capacity to support. Chris is married with 5 kids. Listen to the Lenovo version...it's just a studio duet with his wife. It will give you a different feeling. Just love. Stay strong!
I could hardly breathe first time I watched this video. Hits home for me as well from so many angles. His label wanted a video. He doesn’t like the limelight so this was his answer to it. Bringing awareness to mental health which can be a very heavy subject. It’s relatable to almost everyone in some way and is very emotional for most. (All of his songs make you feel) But, if it can help one person see that there is nothing more they could’ve done to save someone or show someone else the devastation they would leave behind then it’s a good thing. Now you need to watch something like his Tennessee Whiskey/Drink You Away mash up with Justin Timberlake. It’s crazy good and will leave you feeling a bit different than this heavy subject. As a side note….Chris is the bartender in the video :-)
Wow. What a fitting reaction. Open. Honest. Raw. Thank you for this. Thank you for opening up to your viewers. It was the perfect reaction to this song. The "Fuck you Chris" as well lol you got a sub outta me my guy. Thank you. I saw him live at Comerica Park, Detroit, MI. Best concert of my life. I was 3rd row and he blew my mind. He's an amazing guitarist as well.
It breaks everyone - he donates a lot of the proceeds to mental health causes - watch through the very end - details are there. She is bipolar and he couldn’t save her the last time. Notice the blood on his t-shirt. Listen to it once without the video - the words are amazing - he loves her regardless You should watch the Making of this video - the actors and everyone explains it all Chris Stapleton is the bartender
Thank you for not only reacting to this, but for watching it twice. It's a lot to take in. I struggle too, and I'm an introvert like you. It's easy to compare myself to all the extroverts who never seem have to agonize over what to say and find myself lacking. I just have to remind myself that I have a place and have something to contribute, too. We all do. Remember: you matter. You are enough. Peace.
It's ok. It makes us all cry. I've seen this video quite a few times, but I always tear up. Great reaction. I also tear up on Sugarland's "Stay" and Kelly Clarkson's live performance of "Piece by Piece" on American Idol. There are just some songs and videos that hit different.
Yes youll hear doctor annoynce time of her death. Last shot is him with her body before he goes to bar amd holds her ring. Also, im farmers daughter and noticed right away whwn i fiest saw this, that her walking barefoot through dried corn stalks that have been cut down was all wrong because dried corn stalks cut your feet like razors and she doesnt feel them. That alone told me sometging was bad wrong with her.
This one is super rough. I also suffer various things one being social anxiety but I was him and still am for my daughter who suffer anxiety. It killed me to see him called to his own home. When my child was 13 she attempted suicide and that feeling is killer…. You never get past it. Great reaction and much love!
"I Was Wrong" - Austinville City Limits That performance is special. No spoilers. Chris doesn't like to do traditional music videos. When he does one it's because he has something to say. In this case he and Ben Foster (Male lead) had a message to deliver drawing attention to mental health. Ben was able to convince Margarita Levieva (female lead) to participate as well. Her character appears to be bipolar and dealing with all the issues that can bring. The fact that two well known actors are participating in the video was a red-flag as to the fact it wouldn't be your typical music video. My understanding is they had to do a lot of convincing to get Chris to do the cameo as the bartender because he was afraid it would draw attention away from the primary message.
Chris is absolutely great & he created this piece to raise awareness of mental health issues. Because of your reaction, I would suggest another amazing artist. If you haven't found him already, watch Ren - Hi Ren. It's a totally different genre & as much performance art as song but I do think it will resonate with you.
I have seen Hi Ren, so I can't really do it on the channel. But thanks for the recommendation. It's definitely an emotional song that one. Very intense
@ReachMeorTeachMe thank you for sharing your truth. Hang on my friend. Things might get worse before they get better. Just know we all in your TH-cam sub’s list especially us who are watching, love and appreciate you. 😊
It's a journey my friend. I have good days and bad days. I'm just very fortunate to have a loving and supportive family to lean on. The channel has been a fantastic outlet too. Forces me to put myself out there to the world instead of hiding away. And the comments have generally been very positive and supportive as well. ❤️
It's not difficult, all you have to do is listen. And stop guessing. The paramedic says female with lacerations to the wrist and the doctor says time of death
This 1 my friend is a very very TOUGH 1. A S AN eX THAT had a wife that suffered through this kind of stuff . after awhile you have to think of the kids and not just her. For 17 yrs we did not know where she was or even still alive.
I have been on both sides of this coin. In my case my 1st wife and daughter were murdered. That threw my life in a tailspin and ended up with a lady who spent 15 years keeping me on the edge of ending it, I couldn't tell you how many attempts, well into the hundreds. So a small family playing in the park behind my house after a serious attempt. I asked and begged God to help me find that happiness. Fast forward a couple years, the ex is gone and I meet the woman I had been begging for for 15 years. She and I have been through some battles but we always have each other. Almost 11 years and we have never even had an argument. lol I don't think my ex and I made it past 24 hours before an argument lol
11:30 you have just described me i suffer too i can't leave the house iv got no friends because of the way i am and my family don't wanna know me they gave me away when i was a baby it just me 24/ 7 with my baby boy my husband is working all the time and my daughter has moved out and got a family herself now it so hard every day waking up to say goodbye to my husband as he goes to work every single day i say to myself keep going for my kids if it was not for my kids and husband i don't think i would be here now
I have seen this one before. But if enough people want to see a reaction to it, I'd be happy to do one. It has been a long time since I saw and heard it

so i know you dont know me at all. I watched your reaction to be a man mega remix by dax. In that video you said you dealt with anxiety alot. i am not a therapist in anyways but i was made fun of and put down my entire life. I struggled with self worth and feeling like i was a nobody. About 3 years ago i came across a band on youtube called CITIZEN SOLDIER. The lead singer whose name is jake was in a mental hospital and almost committed suicide back in 2016. He got out of that mental hospital and started the band. He is now a licensed therapist. All of their songs deal with depression suicide anxiety anorexia and other mental issues. I think they would be a good band for you to react to. I think their songs i am not ok or would anyone care or their most recent song you are enough would be great starting points.

Bipolar comes in different stages, I went through this and until you get the right mixture of meds. will you feel good...It took me awhile but thank goodness I found my medicine, it is out there. Do not give up..
It's not opposites attract... Omg. So you think a person with a mental illness should attract another person with a mental illness? It's like saying a person with cancer should attract another person with cancer. I loved your reaction video until you said that.
What?! No I was saying that my wife is outgoing and social and I'm introverted and packed with anxiety. Then simply used the old saying that "opposites attract"
You dont just hear Chris you feel Chris in your soul! Hes the best
I've always considered him more soul than country. He just has more of a soul voice than a country. I've been a fan of his since he came out.
