I'LL try to answer some of your many questions. Anyone can join the group. Those kids has the consent of their parents to be there. Outside the stage, they have full time jobs or school. They have doctor as member of the group. One of the members is a professional physioterapist. Due to Brazilian nacionality, the choreographer use African culture in theirs performances. In 10 years of existence, only 5 injuries were reported. And none of them were a kid.
This performance is so brilliant it makes me cry with joy, even after watching it like a gazillion times! So beautiful, no conviction, the spirit of dance in these dancers is evident in their discipline. It would greatly disappoint me if any of these performing artists, many children, in this case, did any of this against their will, it will be impossible to manifest such beauty and demonstrate such passion by force. I wish I found such devotion in the things I love at an earlier stage in my life, great respect for you all!
The leader is from Sao Paulo Brazil but he moved to Austria , most of the kids and acrobats in the group are teachers , Bank Tellers , School Kids , Etc. Most of them are from Austria. I hope they win , They are Fantastic.
I use to do competitive cheer and we do a lot of stunts similar to the ones they did here. when practicing you just have to take mental notes before executing the stunt, so most of the time you just have to go for it and then make adjustments to make it more comfortable and easier for the people doing the stunts/flips (we call them flyers) and the people who are holding you (called bases)
I wish they are from Eastern Europe but they are from Austria, the lead man is born in Brasil but all the others are from Austria. Older members have regular jobs and kids are going to school, that why he said in the begining they are not proffessionals!

They are from Götzis, Austria, and directed by Brazilian choreographer Peterson da Cruz Hora. That said, they belong in Vegas, like NOW!
