wrt the gear, i think to be honest that the answer as to why it isn't seen as as significant is that when you're a relatively casual fan, it's much much easier to tell if someone is on a blue or green or red or orange bike than if they're wearing thor or fly or astars, and i think the reason for that is twofold. a) it's just way harder to get a good look at the riders from the TV to be able to tell what exactly gear they're wearing, and b) a lot of times, the visual appearance of kits changes throughout the year anyway. for that reason i think it's actually *on* the media to talk about these things and make it a bigger deal because it IS big money for the riders and it IS a big deal for them. it's just not something that anyone besides a pretty big fan of the sport would take notice of, but i can tell you right now that everyone will notice that pierce brown is on a blue bike rather than a crimson one this year
Lewis is right about Thor, there is a huge disconnect with the brand and the public, you don't see special sets of gear, or I cant think of any and that in itself is a blight on the brand and who is promoting it with their athletes, where as Fox have always done that well, Kenny has had some super sick gear, my fav is still that Red Bull Straight Rhythm retro Hannah kit, just so sick! That's how ya can tell it was good that was a few years ago and I remember that like yesterday, same with below, yet I cant remember any stuff of Thor that is special, I may be wrong but it cant have been memorable and I like Thor, I had a 2012 set! Not as good as my 80s set made in Finland. Still the best made gear! The RJ years and then Bradshaw and RC and Stew, that's how its done, Thor just seem ho hum, we got teams they have Deegs, we must be good! Good Sales manager is on that stuff always not a meeting once a year, or when ya called with a problem! Ya got to work that relationship constantly, allot of gear brands out there now! The new Jeremy McGrath shit is off the hook and I'm in on that shit like glue! Mendid, sick the Camo is mine, my precious! you guys stay away buy Thor, I got dibbs first 💯🤟🤘
When I was back packing in Aussie use to be in the lounge watching TV and this girl every week come and sit down and have a skype call with her family never asked if it was ok or anything so I got to here everything they said .I kicked off one time and I got called unreasonable
I don't really follow your logic on race format. It is some kinda "separation makes the ❤ grow fonder" reasoning... It is simply a sprint format for less than a handful of races. In IndyCar, the Indy 500 and Long Beach Grand Prix are different formats, yet both can be entertaining.
Maybe you two are making something outta nothing, could it be purely financial and a change is as good as a rest .....he is pension end of his career and deserves his riches, but who knows it might be quality over quality !! 🇬🇧
The dirt store triumph announcement has got to be the best one yet .Tommy Searle and co .the video is mega
Seems like Dungey was wearing One Ind early I do remember him switching to Fox in the span of a week when J Law showed up with the same kit

You two are the best, keep up the good work 👏
17:04 Lewis butchered the pronunciation of Nike. 😂 Love ya still, buddy. I like all the Lewis-isms.

Thor does do special kits for deegan and they did a couple for AP like the cowboy kit but not like they used to back in the day with villopoto etc..
👌
Let's me emphasize not being your friend!!
Always look forward to this!! 👏🏻👏🏻
Lewis, do a topic about how many past champions paid for a moto training school
that guy looks like the goody two shoe kid from the breakfast club movie.
Procircuit kawazaaaaaaaki
Where is nick romano going?
Phoneix honda
Triumph should tell forkner. Ur not allowed to win a overall all season. Just to get practice
Saying "Nyk" instead of "Ny kee" should be punishable by law.
That last one about kids is Grade A BS too.
Deagan gear watch this space!

Cool story fuckwhit
If Forkner gets hurt......I hope not. Being an old guy, I couldn't care less about a riders gear sponsor.
Lewis is just wrong with his questions lol
It's a huge thing for the Gear (Kit) companies, and somewhat so for Rider's wallet....Fans could care less.
