Together We Can: Creating Pathways for South Dakota Families to Stay Together

“[Our] programs intersect in ways that help us be really creative problem solvers and we work to address community needs.” Through the Family Stabilization Initiative, Lutheran Services in America brings people and resources together to solve problems that impact communities like Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where Lutheran Social Services of South Dakota works to advance equitable outcomes for children, youth and families. Lutheran Social Services of South Dakota joins three other leading network organizations in this initiative to provide wraparound services and supports for families in crisis. The initiative-a part of the Lutheran Services in America Results Innovation Lab, which addresses disparities in child welfare systems-engages and empowers families before they are in crisis to create pathways for them to stay together. Together, we can solve problems in ways that go beyond what any one organization can achieve on its own.
