  • This is a review of the Mk1 version of the Direct Action Gear Messenger Bag. If you are in the market for a tactical messenger bag I CANNOT recommend this bag highly enough.

Great review, I am looking for a tactical messenger bag and I think I found the best one around. The solution that I can think about @10:50 is you could probably run a hardwire around the edges of the flap cover. That will retain the shape or bend it the way you want it. Cheers!

Great review. Thanks for putting it together. Does the “14 inches wide” include the side pockets (water bottle and side organizational pocket) that protrude out from the bag? Or is it just for the main body of the bag? Thanks again for the in depth review.

Hey man, thanks for the video. Could you specify, is it shadow grey or urban gray? Thanks in advance!

Can u fit a 15" laptop in the laptop sleeve or it fits maximum a 14" laptop

You can fit a 15" laptop diagonally from corner to corner but it is a very tight fit and will compromise the storage space of the bag. I have a 15" MBP and would not use this bag with that laptop.

@@perfectlyaverageeverydayca6591 This is spot on. some of the newer slim-bezel 15inchers will fit in there, but it's still a fairly tight affair. The bag i very well made for the price. Most everything Direct Action makes is well built and good value.
