Jason and Harry wow, you two are fantastic, such a whirlwind of information and expertise, can't wait for you next catch up, please make it soon. Thank you.
Great interview. On the Klaviyo topic, I think most Shopify companies are ready to leave them at the earliest chance. Plus lots of competition is coming. Fortunately for them email flows are very sticky and it’s hard to get people to migrate. But I think they will if prices go up any higher. We would!
Maybe. Mostly I know through the 16,000+ Gorgias customers as I'm on the board there. I do think the pricing created some bumps but overall the metrics are pretty strong here in terms of brand and app affinity as far as I can see.
@@Jasonlk you of course have a better vantage point but as a SaaS founder in ecom, im seeing that theres a movement away from Klaviyo in the smb segment. The product isn't very differentiated and not that hard to switch. Sendlane and Yotpo are running aggressive, community driven tactics to steal customers (mostly highlighting price and support as differentiators). Same tactic Richpanel is trying with Gorgias. Stickiest part of Klaviyo right now imo is the agency network. Many email agencies won't work with non Klaviyo brands.
This year could turn out worse. I lost a lot of money last year as a result of poor investing decisions that I would never have made if I hadn't been so concerned about my portfolio. I wasn't sure whether to keep investing or make mortgage payments. After selling my investments, I discovered that the house required more work than I expected. I'm not sure how long I can go on like this.
Thanks again Harry and Team 20VC for having me! We packed a lot in on SaaS and Cloud and more today here!

Take things easy, we've all made mistakes.
Google acquired Nokia? Wasn’t that Microsoft?
