Jeff, my son and I met you at the festival of speed last weekend, thank you so much for your time and the knowledge you gave. It was so good to see your enthusiasm and workmanship in person.
Yeah he's a good guy to chat to, if you can get close! I saw him first time at WTA and it was late on Sunday afternoon and he'd been there 2 days talking to people and I figured he'd be so sick of it and I was just looking at the car and he starts talking to me and like, half an hour later I tell him I've got to go! Lol
When you get to a point where the material just won’t shrink anymore with those shrinker stretchers, I’ve found a light sand of the shrunk area really helps. Gets rid of the ‘bunched up’ material the shrinker creates and allows for more shrinking.

Great work, inspired me to make a new section for my 911 parcel shelf, can't quite TIG them together, but copied your MIG dabbing technique, progressing slowly.
Incredible watching this take shape. Well done. Just an observation - is the clutch pedal not too close to the tunnel? If you’re wearing shoes they will possibly rub the side of the tunnel / carpet from the angle we can see in the video.
Bloody Excellent job on Frankie this week, you made it look as if the manufacturer designed it like that, GREAT imagination also the most amount of work shown in one video on Frankie, my hat off to you Sir Jeff.🫡🎉
G'day Jeff, Your skills have come a long way since starting Harry. The work that your achieving now is awesome. Q. The shrinker on the floor stand. Have you got a link. I could use one of those. So thanks for sharing your progress man ✌️ Peace from Melbourne/Pakenham.
Those ferrari V8’s really have a tendency to sound like a four banger if the exhaust isn’t just right. Have you thought about going for something like a wizard back box? They’re based in UK and do fantastic craftsmanship for a somewhat decent price (sorry lads, you’re on the outskirts of my wallet 😂) but the sound their resonator back boxes make are really spectacular and make the busso V6 really sound like annold school F1 car howling through the Monaco tunnel. I’ve had car friends giggle and grin when giving mine the boot coz the way the car sings is majestic. I’m sure those backboxes would sound fantastic on the alfarrari. No doubt about it!
Hi Jeff, thx for the explanation on the shrinking and stretching. What is the impact of welding ( bringing a heat source) on your curves? Does this influence the final work? Need rework after welding or not? Thx
I dont think you will get that Ferrari sound without evening out the exhaust pulses. Unfortunately I don’t think you have enough room for equal length headers.
I have only ever used two captive nuts over the years, when I look at them from time to time, they seem to be getting a bit rusty, No problem a bit of lube may help?
Hello Jeff, just a very random idea/guess around the sound of the engine. Adam LZ wanted to get the high pitch sound from his 4 rotor Supra recently and discovered that the actual way the headers join together at the merge is vital - the firing order needs to go around rather than in cross pattern so that the back pressure helps and smooths out the sound. I know you have a veeery tight engine compartment and it wont be easy to achieve that buy maybe thats the issue...?
Jeff, have you got enough room to put a standard power rack version of the type of rack that you have, if have and if there are any in Australia an A Class Mercedes power steering pump might be an idea its an electric/hydraulic pump which is what the BOM boys used on Project Binky and it is what i've used on my Subaru powered 4x4 1303 Vw Beetle on the subaru rack.............just a thought.
@HomeBuiltByJeff I know i was asking about the steering rack, if I remember rightly you have a manual rack and electric PS column What i meant was fit a PS rack and have an electric steering pump which is what the A class Mercedes has.
In today's world where mechanics are time poor and often use powered 'torquey' tools, rivnuts can be an absolute pain. For example, a bolt can be driven home with too much torque that results in a spinning bolt-nut assembly that requires considerable effort to remove and repair. Rivnuts should only be used as a last resort - and power tools should not be used to screw bolts into rivnuts.
Some LOVELY work Jeffrey. You're the Aussie Chris Runge. 👊👊👊
Great work as usual Jeff.
Nice shout out for the 64 Stout sculptor. She is incredible!
Jasmine at Stout Metalcraft does some incredible work. Nice job on your pedal box Jeff.
We all thank you for sharing your happiness building this awesome truck ! ❤
Agreed with the captive nuts. Only use a rivnut when you can’t get to the other side. Great work as always!!
Excellent work as always!
Cheers Jeff for the explanation of the clicos, truck is really coming together 👍
Your metal working skills have come a long way! Keep up the great work!
Great explanation of metalworking Jeff

Comment for the crazy algorithm
Thanks for explaining shrinking and stretching metal.truck is looking great. Love the channel.
Another Great Job Jeff 👍

Hi Jeff, still amazes me about the amount of work you put into the fabrication work 👍
100% worth watching the progress

Jeff, remember on Project Binky they used a CVJ boot to cover the opening for the steering shaft. Maybe you can do something similar.👍
You can clearly seee how much you improved at working with metal 👍
Well done guys! Love the outros as much as the rest of the vids.
Great work, inspired me to make a new section for my 911 parcel shelf, can't quite TIG them together, but copied your MIG dabbing technique, progressing slowly.
Hi Jeff, let's beat the algorithm!
Glad the Canberra Festival of Speed was a success as well 🙂
Cheers 👍💪✌
Stylistically, these pieces match the rest of the truck really well.
I was scratching my head a bit as to how that firewall was going to happen (I bet you were too), but it turned out bloody well mate. Top job!
Awesome work. Looks great!
Greetings from Milford CT USA, I really enjoy your work
Stunning work! Your explanations are excellent ❤
Keeping the Frankenstein welds of the transmission tunnel and then leaving them untrimmed would have been a cool feature.
Loving your work Jeff, great episode, really enjoyed, thanks. :)
Nice work, firewall looks great!
Thanks mate. Close to the end of this part now, then we can work on starting to get it driving :D
nice work Jeff, its looking great 👍
Nice Work Jeff! 👍
Looks terrific, Henry VIII's codpiece perhaps.
Making it all look pretty easy now.
Zero C here in East Tennessee, would love some of that heat here @Jeff.
Another great video mate.
More good work Jeff was well worth the effort on those curves it's blended in 50s style
Fantastic work jeff 👌
Amazing work on the firewall Jeff 💪🫵
Good job Jeff 👍💪
You are a proper welder now ❤
As another of our favourite YTers would say - certified good enough!
Looking real good
Ciao dall'Italia a te ed alla Signora Jeff, ossequi all'Algoritmo Pazzo 😅😅😅
1,000th Like! Honored to help the thingie that helps you 🙌🏼

Thanks Jeff, must look up the Canberra Festival of Speed 2025. Good progress considering the heat. Bill Mc
Magic work jeff😊
Love the tshirt hahaha!😅

I could use one of those.

Clecos are used by the thousands in aircraft manufacturing.
Sunday with Jeff
Got my coffee
Too early for a beer
Random fact: Pigs don't sweat. That's why they roll around in the mud, to keep cool.
I would 🤔make some ridges in the dome to look a bit smarter😜
Looking great!
❤️🔥HBBJ❤️🔥
thank you so much ı love you

He’s planning to get them 3D printed out of metal in a complex shape to get them equal length.
Equal length and stepped
Will you have to do the same work on the passenger side. To be symmetrical and provide leg room?
👏🍺👍🏻
I have only ever used two captive nuts over the years, when I look at them from time to time, they seem to be getting a bit rusty, No problem a bit of lube may help?
Hey jeff, i must have missed something...... How / when did you get the dent out of the Alfarrari roof...?
I wondered the same thing
👍
12.10 Panel might get too hot from the elbow pipe behind the turbo exhaust
How do you replace the throttle cable when it snaps ?
Coming along well, what colour did you say it will be ? Jeff😁
I believe he said “patina build”. Interested to see how that plays out with the new patches

Hey Jeff. Do you still paint with Concept or using something else these days?
No way theres enough room for your foot on that clutch pedal surely?

Already has PS

Yeah Jazzygreen … stout metal craft is something special, but she has already won SMOTY before….
