When I was around 10, me and my buddy were at his house near Huntsville Texas in a place called Richards. Being kids we wanted to go camping on their land so we went pretty far out on their property which was around 30 or so acres and set up our makeshift tent. After a couple of hours or so we heard the most blood-curling scream that I have ever heard say “help me”. It genuinely sounded like a woman that was being attacked. Being stupid kids that were trying to be brave we yelled back that we’re coming or something along the lines of that, but the scream kept getting closer to the point that we hightailed it back to his place and left everything behind. We eventually came back the next morning got everything and never looked back. To this day we still talk about when we are with each other, but the story of the hunter with the thermal reminded me exactly of that encounter. Gave me goosebumps as soon as you said the thing said “Help.”

I live up in red river area and we got some roads you just don't go down
Car issue, got out to check on my truck. Was about 1am out in the sticks. Heard a woman screaming for help. Over and over. Fast forward few days. I saw a video of a bobcat screaming. There it was, the scary woman screaming for help.
I live in Bryan I've hunted in Bedias/Iola area where I went to high school and I know where Richards is my aunt lives in Montgomery so I drive right through Richards I've legit seen orbs and dim amber colored lights that reminded me of lanterns lots of Indian land out that way plus you being close to Huntsville have you ever been down demons road off hwy 30? (Bowden Road) Martha Chapel Cemetery?

Worked as a patrol deputy in Central Louisiana, going down a dark very rural road on the far edge of the parish one night and saw something coming off a timber cut into the ditch on all fours. Closest thing I can relate it too is the werewolf from American werewolf in Paris...long arms, long legs ,close to the ground, big teeth, covered in hair, but I could see the skin underneath, looked up at me and saw the eyeshine as I passed the curve of the rd. Never told anyone about it, then weeks later, a fellow deputy was over visiting and told me and my wife he had seen something while patrolling that week at night. THE EXACT SAME THING IN THE EXACT SAME SPOT ON THE SAME ROAD, TRAVELING IN THE SAME DIRECTION. Don't know what it was, but this whole road and area is a community of Choctaw Indians....skinwalker??? Dogman???

Im a senior in high school this year and have loved the outdoors ever since I was little. My dad and everyone in my family loved it and he wanted to get me involved with it way before he ever was. I shot my first deer when I was 3 I did everything but move the rilfle because of how heavy it was😂. Shot my first turkey when I was five and started to shoot doves when I was 6 with a 4-10. We live in Alabama all of our hunting land is in central Alabama but we live in southern Alabama. We have land in gulf shores right as you come into the city limits. It’s the last place of woods in the area. I worked at a theme park and wouldn’t get off Untill 12 some nights. After we and all my coworkers went to eat I would be getting home around 1:30. I would fish our peir light and put the boat in after work to fish lights at night where I could be truley alone on the water. One night as I was coming back to the house I saw what looked like a naked human on all fours run across the road faster than any deer I’ve ever seen in my life. I know it wasn’t a deer. I would see them most nights on this road because once again it was the last bit of woods in the whole county. Two nights later me and a friend were fishing lights early one morning and got to a point near the area and not that far in the woods we could hear a lady screaming for help, but there was something off, it did not sound quite right almost like something trying to copy a human. I had already told him about the night before and we both decided the best course of action would but to put the bot in gear and leave 😂.

this story creeps me out a lot when i think about it. last november i was in north carolina with my cousins. my cousin, about my age, and i start a fire because our moms asked us to. so we did that and decided to fool around in the dark. bad idea. we go to the back of the house where his goats are. the goats are completely silent and just not acting right. they were staring at something about 100 yards in front of us. we run back to the house, grab flashlights, golf clubs, and small knives. we go back out and look. we hear rustling in the same spot. so, we run back to the house bc we felt like we were being watched. shortly after, we decided to be dumb and arm ourselves again. this time, we got closer. my cousin went ahead. he looks to his left and goes "uh, there's eyes looking at me" so we run about 100 yards and then look back. at least 5 pairs of glowing green eyes are staring at us 3 to 4 feet off the ground. we stand there for a while watching them until they disappeared. then finally we sit by the fire. after that we go inside and make sure the doors are locked. i understand it's probably just animals but something about it just gives me goosebumps

In my home contry Romania i live in a rural place, just at the bottom of some mountains that are covered by thiiiicccc forests. In vacation i used to run the mountain trails, ive found one that was super cool and i run it 3 days in a row, everytime with my 2 dogs following me all the way and back come. On the forth day everything started as usual with the morning run, but as i got more into the forest my dogs left halfway, i though that they heard other dogs in the woods and when searching for them, so i continued alone. The mood was good, the sun was up and i wasn't thinking about nothing outside the run, till at some point i just froze, i was at this point in the thickest part of the forest, my heart exploded and for some reason i got so scared, it felt that time stopped and i next thing i know i was just running at full speed while watching my back. Ive been in the woods before, i was born there, but till this day in dont know what activated my flight or fight instincts to this point. I've never went to that path again. My dogs returned at almost night and one of them had a crazy long cut on his back, which badly infected the next day. Idk what happened that day.

I love Wartime Stories. But its largely made up stories. This particular podcast is much better.
Weird bastards exist, somehow. I nearly had a heart attack when one ran past me around the side of my house in the North GA mountains. I didn't even know what they were until I started googling. Scared the shit out of me.
I was hunting deep in the woods near my house in northwest jersey and one morning there was a brigbt full moon which lit up the forest floor almost like daylight. I hear something walking through the thicket behind me thinking its a deer i stood up because there was only 10 minutes left til legal light. As i looked through the thicket i see something black moving through above the thicket, probably about 7.5 feet off the ground with nothing moving below it. I watched this thing walk closer behind me and in the moonlight i can see a head, shoulders and torso of a man but no lower half of the body, all black in color. Then it went behind a tree and disappeared. I havent been back to that spot since.

Heard of bobcat for the first time while setting decoys in the dark at 4 in the morning. Being from the east coast and not having them around I had no idea what it was. Most terrified I’ve ever been.

One of my friends before..they hunt bears they saw a bear standing up but it was howling and then it ran away...bears don't howl
coming here from the short and i gotta say l. dude knows how to tell a good story. hes reading someones story and able to put himself in the thrid person and narrate it in a way that is easy to follow and spooky as hell. definitely will be checking out this podcast again

1:07:57 my father has spent his entire life in the woods and he went out one day looking for deer sheds and back a couple miles In he found sheep hides/furr everywhere back in the mountains n when I say mountains i mean in a place where you sometimes dont even see birds it wasnt near farms or houses and on his way back to the truck he heard something let out a loud yell/cry a sounds hes never heard he explains it as demonic or unexplainable that man has spent I garuntee over 80% of his life in the woods hes heard bob cat, bear pretty much every common animal in our state he isn’t one to lie nor be scared of the woods, ive never seen that man scared, he said hes never in his life seen or heard something that has frightened him to the point he got out his side arm n SPRINTED the rest of the way to his truck like he did that day, good ole wild n wonderful wv.

I know an old Vietnam vet, who did training in Louisiana that claims they saw what is a bigfoot. This gentleman is a man and half and i cant come to terms with myself to think he's lying.
I was in a tree stand at 3am and started hearing the loudest most terrifying scream that lasted a few minutes. The whole time I swore it was a woman screaming for her life. Definitely some kind of cat in heat but there’s no video or recording that sounds like what I heard. Still the most fear I’ve ever felt in my life.
Nature sure knows how to keep us on our toes!

I'm Irish & for us older people, fairy forts are real. If you saw a ring of stones (or as the woman said) a circle of mushrooms, you left them alone, or else...
This is 100% true.
Driving home about 11pm from my then girlfriends family in a rural part of Kilkenny Ireland in 2005 & we were driving on a long stretch of rural road with farmers fields & hedges all along & the driver had the full/high beams on, so I suppose it lit up the road about a 100 yards ahead?
Literally out of nowhere there was what I can only describe as a monster on the other side of the road with it's front paws on the bank, about to go through the hedge. It was huge! It's back paws were nearly in the middle of it's side of the road. It looked frozen in place like we had lamped it.
It stared at us & I know it saw us both. I can only describe it's huge head as a gargoyles head & face. It looked like it had scales on it's body & it was about 4 foot tall. Like I said, it was huge. We saw it clearly for about 5 seconds & when we passed it, I turned to the driver & said "did you see that?"
She did & we were both honestly terrified. She was a very religious woman & started whispering the rosary to herself. She told me later we had seen a demon. I kept looking back into the darkness expecting it to come through the rear window or jump on the car. It looked like it would have had no problem catching us.
I stumbled across a video on YT in about 2009 called "The Wessex Way Monster" & this is exactly what we saw. The video is still on YT.
There's a paper called "The Farmers Journal" here in Ireland. The same woman I was seeing, her parents were dairy farmers. In about 2006 they had a copy of the journal in their home & it had a headline that read something like "Unexplained Sheep Kills In Kilkenny". We never told her parents or anyone what we saw, for fear of being laughed at. But we both knew what was killing them
If someone told me that story, I probably wouldn't believe them. But I know what I saw that night. I saw a monster. Or maybe she was right & it was a demon.

I was turkey hunting last spring on a local permission piece that I have. 20 minutes before daylight I’m standing next to an oak tree listening for the first gobble of the morning. All of the sudden I hear my name being called from about 60 yards away in the timber. No one else was hunting that side of the property that day. I shook it off and continued my hunt and haven’t had anything like that happen again. Could have been a mix of my sleep deprivation by the end of season and my imagination getting the best of me too 😂

I’ve been in the woods of rural Michigan and I can tell you for sure I’ve seen tweakers living in the woods and it’s some of the weirdest crap I’ve experienced and it takes a lot to hold back from firing in their direction with all the thoughts of skinwalkers running through my mind… but once I was looking for Amish hogs that run away into the woods and become feral they can end up being a problem if not tended to and come sun down I said to myself it’s time to head back to the farm because it gets dark in the woods before the sun actually goes down and I was about 20 acres from the entrance to the woods and heard a whistle, now I’ve heard ground hogs whistle before but this was an interesting whistle because growing up me, my dad uncles and cousins would whistle the same way to let each other know if we were there or walking through instead of shouting because we didn’t want to spoke anything. When I heard it I stopped in my tracks because I knew for a fact only I was in that woods and the whistle came from what seemed to me the tree tops I panned the woods and looked up and around and told myself there’s no fking way in gods green earth that was an animal. So I kept walking to the wood line and carried myself down the path back home just wondering wtf? Well about a few weeks later my cousins were in the woods pulling car parts off vehicles in the old family junk yard and they heard the a whistle and figured someone would be walking up soon so they whistled back but nothing never happened and that same day I came to the farm later in the day to help them put this old truck back together and they had asked me if I stopped by because they heard someone whistle I turned white and the look they gave me had me stunned so I told them what I told y’all on here that’s if your reading this and we still to this day have a strange feeling while walking through that woods. Something somewhere has a mocking bird affect to it idk if it’s an old spirit of a past family member or something else but I still to this day will whistle into that woods in hopes I get a response from the unknown idk why but it’s a strange fked up thing I do

I was told that Big Foot is a spirit. It's not a good or bad spirit, but he comes to those who need him for some reason or another.
My family has a property in Newton, Tx, My brother and I was racing atv's and decided to go to the little store on the corner. On the way back, we heard the loudest scream, like a women dying! We took off so fast back to the house and told our dad. My dad looked at us both and smirked and said, "Be lucky you made it home!" 😂 That's how I found out texas has panthers!
I work at a haunted place and I have lots of stories but they’ve never scared me. These stories about stuff in the woods are horrifying to me though I don’t think I could handle any of that 😂
Right around 1:25:00 they are talking about bring that puts you in mind of the “Predator” from the movies. Not in its full form but when it’s in the semi invisible form. David Paulides has a lady on “Missing 411 The Hunted” who describes the same type of thing in Ohio in a small wooded area she was hunting, she took pictures on her phone and when she went to show her husband the pictures were all messed up and he determined that the pictures were in a format that’s not possible to use on the phone. There were pictures before and after on her phone butnnotnthenpnew she took of it. The same time just across town there was something strange in the sky where a lot of students seen something in the sky.

I never told this to anyone besides the people that were with me that day. We were in the woods I was the youngest I was probably 11 or 12 and my two friends were about 2 to 3 years older. We knew those woods pretty well and when we use to ride our dirt bikes and go hunting birds with our BB guns. One afternoon we were on foot it was getting dark and we decided to go back when we heard a horse. There was no farmers nor houses that deep in that area so we fallowed the sound, has we crossed some trees there was a small clearing with one big tree in the middle, there was a white horse roped to that tree, his eyes were red and the rope was not normal, it was shinning, to the point that it was hard to look at it. The horse was big muscular and fog was coming out of its breath and it was summer. We turned our faces to each other and just ran. Part of me wishes I have stayed and try to pet him or get close but the fear overcame all of us and we rarely talked about it after. Not sure it was evil, but I got the sensation that I wasn’t supposed to be there or see it. Geez got chills just remembering it.

Black panthers and jaguars are a big thing here in AZ they used to be kinda rare to see but they have been seen more and more here

Witnessed very large black cat, and documented sighting by game wardens in the Sam Houston National Forest in South Texas
Not gonna go into detail but I did on the Hayden Alabama Podcast. While pulling game camera cards at night, could swear I saw a haint. This is in Appalachia GA

This is weird. I never would tell this story and I may have even forgotten, but when I was a kid hunting at this one deer stand, I kept getting the feeling or something telling me in my mind as if it was speaking to me that there was going to be a naked female, it’s going to walk in front of my stand and she needs help. I heard something in that direction but I never saw anything at all but the feeling was super strong. I sat there for hours expecting to see it but I never did. I forgot about that until I just heard the same story

The Creature discussed at the 1 hour mark sounds like a Wendigo, that seems to be their M.O. from the many stories/reports I've listened to at least.
I commented on the shorter video of the east Texas hog one.
That first comment I left.
It was the one that most weird thing and a little scary in retrospect.
But the Scariest was a cougar encounter we had. We followed this trail with cougar sign everywhere earlier in the season. So we got tags and came back excited to get one, followed the trail way up in. This mist came down around mountain we were on, visiblility dropped to 50 ft. And we got into thicker brush.
This cougar starts screaming in the brush around us. That awful blood chilling screatch. So close you cant tell where it is.
My dad and I stood back to back, trying to see something and couldn't tell where it was. Took the brave, lets go get it attitude to this is a bad idea. This thing would basically be on top of us, if it came out of the brush.
We worked our way back out and found new cougar Adult and Kit prints on top of our boot prints and steaming cougar scat on the path.
Still gives me goosebumps thinking about it.

@DucksUnlimitedInc It was. I've had 2 cougar encounters in that area. The fear was something else. When you guys talked about sitting in the dark and hearing stuff, and thinking about what it can be. The cougar isn't far from my mind. Yet, what is interesting, is that I'm still totally fine with heading up there each deer/elk season. I've heard coyotes fight something when I camped over night. Think it was that cougar.
Something kinda funny, on my way home from work on my bicycle, I almost ran over a mouse that just all of a sudden just jumped out and started sprinting alongside my front tire as if running feom something behind us both. It ran alongside for about 15-20 feet and then runs off to my right into some bushes and marshgrass. Right after that i get a creepy feeling running up and down my spine plus having black bags i think in the bare tree tops above me just stock still even in the breeze which is abnormal. Then i get home and see this podcast short pop up on my phone for the texas hog hunt with a thermal. I live in town, plenty of areas for animals like racoons, rabbits, goshawks, possums, small wildlife to thrive quite nicely. Still been on that spooked feeling for the past 40 minutes or so. 😅Trust jn your instincts for it can save your arse even if you dont realize it.❤ Goodnight everyone.

The construction story/ the first creature yall are talking about, in the Caribbean we call it a Bacoo. It’s said that ppl can get them to do bad things to others and torment them for offerings but you have to give him anything he ask for or he’ll come for you
I seen a panther in Louisiana once while duck hunting. I smelled something that just smelled off I look in a tree above me and I just see this big dark cat with a gator in its mouth. Damn near shit myself and have never been back to that stretch of woods since.

Me and buddy were out bank fishing about a year ago at a small pond. Once the sun went down, we heard something break a tree on the other side of the pond, followed by this loud roar/scream. Needless to say, we ran like hell back to the truck and left

The dogman stories go back hundreds of years. Like the story red riding hood which originated in 1697. An upright walking wolf eating people in the woods. The story was first created because there were young girls going missing and being found eaten while walking through the woods, everyone was saying it was a giant standing wolf.
Anytime in the woods, listen for silence = something is there that ain’t supposed to be

I am a 13 year old boy and on the weekends I work with my mom at a hunting preserve and one day around 9:45 I was putting corn in a hog trap when I saw a what I have now know the term to be called dogman standing in a boggy area about 30 feet from me and it seems that I had caught it in the act of traveling and it had patchy grayish hair and yellowish orange claws and the eyes were orangeish brown as far as I could tell I then just emptied the whole bag of corn in the trap and got back in the toyota I was using and I got out of there like a bat out of hell! I had never been so scared in my life but then the strange thing was is i went back about 20-25 minutes later with my mom and found no tracks and only little sign if it being back there since then I have seen 1 other weird thing but before that I had seen a what my family calls "the man who walks on all fours" so at a young age I have seen some very unexplainable things

I have just seen those trash bag monsters, a few times i thought i just was mistaken but i was for sure they were cats running in the road!
One of my good friends whos a retired marine, serious no nonsense guy had an experience in siskiyou county in northern california. He was out camping for a few months and one day he went to relieve himself behind a tree, as he was squating a bigfoot walked by him walking up hill in long strides. My buddy jason got up and ran as fast as he could to his truck and left. This was about 10 years ago and he still hasnt gone anywhere near the woods since.
And jason has been througg some stuff and isnt scared of anything. His dream was to build a cabin out there on the property and he gave up on anything to do with being our there. He wasnt a believer in bigfoot at allhe would actually male fun of people who would talk about it before he had his sighting. This area also is about 20 or 30 miles north of where the patterson gimlin film was taken.
I wasnt told about this story until i had a second hand experience myself. My story: i was out camping on the same property with a binch of friends for 4th of July. Some mutual friends of mine who where here on work visas from mexico came along. These guys were out hiking when all of the sudden they hear a huge racket in the brush. These 5 deer come bounding out of the thickets, see them and ran over to them looking scared and seeking protection. All of the sudden huge rocks come flying out from somewhere in the tree line. They thought it was one of us playing jokes on us so they tried to pick up the rocks to throw them back. But the rocks were too heavy to throw more than 5 feet.
They came hiking back to base camp laughing at us saying how did you guys get back so fast? We didnt know what they were talking about so they told us what happened. My buddy Shawn looked at our friend Eric with a concerned scared look and said 'shit, its around here still'. I then asked whats around here still, so that's when they told us about Jasons story years back.
Our friend who had the rocks thrown at them didnt have any idea what bigfoot was amd hadnt ever even heard of such a thing. They still dont believe something like that exists.
Me and Shawn grabbed our AR's and went looking for tracks. Well we found them, they were bigger than my size 11's by twice the size. Not only that but they were sunk about an inch into the ground. We jumped up and down and couldn't even make an impression. We searched some more and found them going directly up hill at a stride two and a half longer than mine. Im 5' 11" for reference. We followed them into an area that had a bunch of knocked over trees that looked like a huge nesting area about 20 yards in diameter. It was also dead silent as soon as you got near. Not a bird or bug making a sound. We took pictures with my phone but i lost that phone a couple years ago.
For a few weeks it would come around when we weren't at camp and mess with our things. We had a few bears around that we would see all the time and they wouldnt go any where near there, the most they would do is get near the area and start huffing like they were giving a warning.
The area has a few caves that i tried to get to a d search but they were way up a straight cliff and i couldnt get to them but you could see there was something making regular trips to. I know it wasnt the deer or bears going ip there because it was WAY to difficult to climb for them. And also there wasn't any sign of them getting anywhere close to the area. All i could find was rabbit track and a couple bobcats.
This area burned a few months back but you can search around on google maps and see each area im talkong about. Just go and search little grayback siskiyou county. Go to topo maps and find Sutcliffe creek and granite creek. Its right in between those two. Its the property with the dirt roads. This area was completely covered in trees before the fire.
The area we found the tracks going uphill is west coming away from the kidney shaped pond off of granite creek. We also found a butt print where you could tell whatever it was was sitting behind a bush overlooking the pond. And it was a really wide butt print too. Its all national forest land around the property too so it explorable by anyone whos curious.
The area has a ton of blackberry bushes, wild onion fields and an area that the natives used to plant sometype of tubers. And TONS of deer too. We got really accustomed to deer there were so many.

That story of the hog hunter seeing a naked human figure could’ve been a Skinwalker or possibly a Rake. Although I’m not sure the Rake mimics voices.
in ireland storytellers here would have spoken of the true nature of fairies, being different from what pop media portrays i.e. less tiny, mischievous fella and more scary, dangerous, malevolent. Also, there is, and was traditionally, the practice of making a very strong moonshine called in Irish Gaelic "Poitín", made from potatoes. It used to be very common. And someone told me once (who made it) that people would throw the first pour of the Poitín over their shoulder as a toast or show of thanks/respect to the fairies for having given them the recipe in the first place.

October 2022 I was on the Apalachian trail. I qas the only one at the shelter and was just sitting down for my morning coffee when I saw a man sized completely black silolet walking down the trail. I watched it for at least a minute and was unable to make out any details it was just a black figure walking down the trail.

I’m from east Texas around the caddo area and I had an encounter when I was younger, It was early teal season and I had just began hunting on my own without my dad so me and my buddy decided we were gonna go out to caddo and hunt and we got there about 2 am to beat anyone else there and we get our boat unloaded and we go way way back in caddo and around 7 at the crack of dawn I’m sittin there with my buddy and I turn to my right and about 80 - 90 yards out is this gator and I didn’t think nothing about it then a few minutes later I watch this thing raise up out the water and it’s gigantic and it’s just sitting there like a dragon, so me and my buddy being young and naive decided to shoot at it just trying to get it to leave and as soon as we fired it turned it’s head looked at us with its yellow eyes and then dives down and is gone, and ever since that day I have never gone back to that part of caddo

I have a ranch over in east tx what they say is true. I hear voices and I told friends hunting to not mind them head down keep moving. One friend responded saying he thought it was me and I was a mile and a half away. The next day he wrecked a 4wheeler and had to go to the hospital

I think I saw a trash bag dwendy in my room one night. Was laying in my bed when something told me to open my eyes and when I did I saw a large thick fluidly moving cloud of transluscent smoke move from one wall and move across the room and go into the other wall it was creepy stuff but I convinced myself my eyes were playing tricks on me
I got goosebumps just thinking of this story. One night my mother was driving me home and it was just us two. We were driving up the road right before our driveway we saw a smaller dog size creature running on all four legs with freakishly long hair dragging on the road running like a gorilla basically, it crossed the road from right to left and just as we came up the hill we both saw it on the left side of the road go into the woods. We both didn’t say anything but when she had pulled into the driveway I told her I had seen something weird cross the road and all she said was “you saw it to?? I’m glad I’m not the only one or no one would believe me” and I agreed. We’ve never spoke about it again or bothered telling anyone. Still think about it to this day.

The small trash bags reminded me of small shadows that used to follow me around as a kid about 5-8 of them always in the corner of my eye darting across doorways and hallways eventually they Disappeared but I’m not even sure exactly when I stopped seeing them but my mother is from a shamanic Pueblo in Mexico where they see things like this all the time so I always just accepted it as duendes
I have heard the same loud knocking sound that is continuous like a cadence. In Brierfield Alabama. I thought it may be some bird with a big beak.
When I was 14 I had went over to a buddies house for his birthday. He had a bunch of friends over that I had knew maybe 5 other people nothing crazy. Well we had decided to play spotlight close to midnight so we did. Outside of his house is a giant open field alongside the woods all around. This also takes place in West Virginia nothing but the mountains and woods around. So anyways we go on playing and everyone splits up or you’ll split up with someone to go hide well me and this other friend of mine take off into this little drain in the middle of the field and we are setting there waiting and we can see the flashlights off in the distance going on up past the house and up the mountain chasing the other buddies that was playing. So me and this other boy decided to walk up a little higher on the hill out of the drain to see if we could see the other kids with the flash lights better and I look past my buddy and I see a black figure crouched down in the middle of the field, only reason I could see the figure is because 60 to 70 years out was a very faint street light and along with the moon being semi out. So I tap on my buddy and ask him if he sees someone over there like I do and he says “yeah I do”. So I start yelling at it saying “hey” and also calling out names of all the other kids that was there. Me and my buddy think nothing of it and we set there for a sec just waiting. And I think to myself ain’t nobody been out that far into the field yet so it’s a good hiding spot. So I get my buddy to come with me to go see who it is hiding over there so we can hide with them. Well we closer and closer and the figure seems like it keeps getting bigger and bigger and I start slowing down cause now I’m getting cautious cause all the kids that were with us were pretty short and small we was all just 14 so I tell my buddy to stop walking and I tell him to look at it and we both just stood there in complete silence look at this black figure crouched down. We wasn’t about to find out who or what it was so we start walking but I had the gut feeling which I will never stop trusting to keep my eye on it even while walking away. So after walking for a couple seconds I turn and around and the figure had just started to stand up and it had of to had been 8ft tall and just huge. First thing that popped in my head is that this has to be a demon or I’m seeing things. I grab my buddies arm and tell him to turn around and we both stand there in shock and I had to ask him again if he can still see it like I can and of course he says yes but you can tell in his tone of voice that he was just as terrified as I was and we start backing up and this part of my experience never made sense to me, we was about 40 yards away from it but in the blink of an eye it went from 40 yards to 20 like it has did a slight ran towards us so me and my buddy take off to the house and all the other kids are out front of the house and the house was only another 50 yards away from us. I couldn’t even look back I was so scared. So we meet up with the kids in the front of the house and tell them what had just happened and my buddy that is having the birthday party that lives there says he sees weird stuff along the tree line all the time at night and it’s also West Virginia a lot of people have seen a lot of weird things in the woods and I’ve grown up hunting my entire life I’ve seen bear I’ve seen pretty much everything. And you could say it was a grizzly bear but the thing is if you know West Virginia there isn’t any grizzly bear. So we called it a night and stayed inside the rest of the time until morning.
I still hunt to this day and that memory will pop in my head when I’m out hunting but i haven’t experienced anything else sense then so the fear seems to go away each hunting season. It happened back in 2019, I’ll never forget that happening.

One morning on the long walk to my stand in the dark i had something really strange happen. It was about an hour and a half before daylight and on the walk to my stand i spot some deer in an open feild skylined on a hill. Curious to see if any had a rack, i pulled my binoculars up. As i was looking through my binos, i was suddenly startled by the sound of someone clapping their hands twice. Maybe 30 40 yards behind me it seemed... now this farm is a farm i have permission to hunt, it isnt open to public walk in hunting. The public can walk the trails of the farm but the only parking lot people are allowed to park in is closed with a locked gate until the owner opens it at sunrise. That parking lot was also about a half mile walk from me... point being i should be the only one out here at this hour. So when i hear the *clap clap* i whip my head around turn on my headlamp and pull my big knife off my hip. I dont see anyone... and for someone to be walking out here alone with no light is super odd because they had to have walked a long way regardless of where they entered the property. As im looking around with my headlamp on i hear a soft spoken "good morning" kind of sounded like an older man. So as im still freaked the hell out i respond "morning..." and no response. "Whats up? You alright?" I said, trying to get them to answer so i can get a better sense of exactly where theyre standing. Still, no response. So i get a little frustrated raising my voice a little louder "YO. You need help or something?" Nothing. Once they didnt answer that, the whole situation felt extra weird, especially since i couldnt see them. At this point i turned off my headlamp and jogged the next half mile to my spot, not wanting them to be able to see my headlamp and know where im headed. Just wanted to create distance between me and whatever creep is clapping at people in the dark at 4 in the morning. Thats what gets me... who claps to get someone's attention? Says good morning but wont respond to anything i say? I dont think it was paranormal or anything. I just think it was some creep with bad intentions or maybe just some old man who's not all there mentally. But i still think about that every time i walk to my stand in the dark.

West Alton Missouri is on the other side of the river from Alton Illinois and that’s where the Indian Piasa bird is from. Those sightings go way back.
When i was about 15 years old I went out deer hunting in my friends grandpas woods. Id never been out there before. I went in early in the morning and sat up against a tree overlooking a valley. It was still dark when I sat down, about 30 min before light. I proceeded to fall asleep sitting against the tree. About 30ish min later i remember waking up and looking right at me were two sets of eyes. One on top of the other. Two fox squirrels going at it on a fallen tree about 10 yards in front of me. I froze up for about 3 minutes until they were done. Never been the same since.

3 very strange situations that happened to me. 1.Walking on dirt road behind our village, beside is grass landscape and 25 meters away is forest. From forest emerged Dog, he was gray, almost anytime you can tell by movement it was wild animal. this is at night my vision isn’t 100. so my first thought is where is your owner?. The more it got closer, out the Forster and went back again after 5m with little curved path I saw front and rear. I realized it was Wolf. If that wasn’t scary enough it went the same way I wanted! 8 seconds faster than me. Send shivers down my spine that it could go after me if the time was slightly different .2. is another walk but this time close to home, almost sounded like horse. but running towards me. I wanted to look but my legs told me otherwise and I listen very well and ran really fast home thinking all the time it could be a wild boar with kids. The 3. is I’m in small forest talking with my friends and I literally/actually/horrifically se a lizard type creature jump from bush to bush. Reminder 1.2 happened in Czech 3. Is Norway. Nooo lizards here
