I think one strategy I don't see many people using is to farm for ender pearls and blaze rods instead of cows and sugar cane. Then go find the end portal and the library there would provide you with enough books for a full enchanting set-up. Because you need at least 46 leather, almost 150 sugar cane and a ton of wood to make a full enchanting setup, might as well use that time to find the end portal, kill the dragon and that way you have exp to enchant level 30 items
Edit: Damn 1.8k likes. Also ClownPierce's video on Friend or Foe has also inspired a new method of quick gear grinding but it requires you to have knowledge on how to raid an Ancient City. Once you get iron armour and tools, find an Ancient City and raid it, quickly find an enchanted diamond hoe with at least Efficiency and Mending on it and use it to run around and break all the shriekers in the city. Then loot the place. All in all, you would get books, (some enchanted, but the main use of the books is to make a full enchanting setup), diamonds and diamond leggings. (Yes you get other cool stuff like Notch Apples but that isn't the point.) From these stuff, you can make a full enchanting setup by using the diamonds to make a pickaxe and the enchanted diamond hoe to mine the sculk to get experience. Mining sculk also has a high chance of uncovering extra diamonds. It's a really fast way to get max enchants on full diamond gear without even having to enter the Nether! Also, the glowberries you get is a good food source

    1. Bed

    3. Portal
    4. 5-Ender Perls.(build portal on nether bedrock)
    5. Ianxofour goldxp farm.
    6. Enchanting setup
    7. Bamboo farm to build Mob farm from scaffoldings
    8. Get Villagers, stop mining for dimonds.

    10. Cure villagers for trading.

I usually start by making a big hut for all the villagers, then mine for some time and get Iron so i can make an Iron fam and also have basic armor. While doing that my sugarcane is growing for books for librarian stands. When the iron farm is ready is afk for one real life night and get toolsmiths that always trade iron. Then i basically get all the books for an echantment table so I can limit the time getting all the enchanted books from villagers only. Then I buy everything from them, beat the game, build an enderman farm, get ancient debris and upgrade my base!
Later i make an gunpowder and foodfarm after I get the elytra. I find this the most practical way for me since now I have everything to start making cool build

My personal recommendation for starting a new world is, to go to you launcher, and select an older version of minecraft, in my case 1.9, and move up version as progress is made, a lot of features change or are removed, take for example how in 1.9 you can have both mending and infinity on a bow, but later got removed, bows made with both keep both, and then in 1.14 god armor was attainable, in summary do a little bit of research, on things that get added or removed, since almost everything (that i can think of) that got "removed" only got made unobtainable

no. absolutely not. do NOT do this if you’re starting out a survival world. coming from a runner myself this is horrible advice, you end up with 30 levels and that’s about it. your world will never be linear like fsg. just play minecraft

    • @realglobmaster
      @realglobmaster ปีที่แล้ว

How is this even remotely horrible advice.
You can't even give one good reason as to why it would be bad advice, all you said was you end with 30 levels, which by the way, is also wrong, so clearly you have no idea what you are talking about.
Speed-running helps you both in understanding the mechanics of the game, and allows you to get better at areas of the game you previously would have been cautious over.
As for you saying your world wont be linear like FSG seeds, that's quite obvious, however yet again, you prove that your understanding of speed-running is that of a child. FSG seeds are great for beginner players. Most players new to the game, get the most anxious when dealing with fortress/bastions/the end dragon.
If you are a new player, When you eliminate variables such as wasting time trying to find these places in RSG, you basically streamline the progression and can focus solely on areas of the game you struggled with previously without the additional time cost of doing it on a random seed.
All info regarding fsg seed generators can be found on the official speedrunning website. (NEVER CLICK UNTRUSTED LINKS)

Lol I play lots of Minecraft pvp and once I started 1.16.1 speed runs the game is such a breeze. I always start hc survival play throughs speed running end cities so I can have elytra and shulkers so much easier and less work for basically max enchanted gear. I refuse to start worlds any other way. Although I might stop doing it because usually I don’t feel as invested when I play a survival world this way. I think if I take more time and build some stuff instead of just focusing on efficiency all the time I might feel more attached to the world and shit. But nothings wrong with that. The best strategy in my opinion is immediately searching a village. You can make a very simple iron farm in 10 minutes giving you infinite iron. There's alot of hay bales and crops to supply you with 2-3 stacks bread or other food. Then try to find a lava pool and go into the nether. Find a bastion with gold blocks to trade with piglins for enderpearls. Kill some blazes and craft ender eyes and find the end portal. Destroy nether stars using the spectral arrows you get from the piglins and kill the dragon with the beds from the village. Make an enderman xp farm and get an efficiency 4/5 iron or diamond pick preferably with unbreaking and fortune aswell. Do some strip mining or cave exploring around -53, find diamonds, craft full dia set. Possibly mine the bookshelfs from the end library for books to help with enchanting and get a set of god gear. Go through the new end portal that spawned in and bridge out in a random direction to hopefully find an end city with an elytra and you're golden. God gear, infinite iron and xp , elytra to make exploring and building 10x easier. All within a couple hours. After this make an automatic sugar cane farm and a mob drop farm for rockets.
Ps: if you struggle to get pearls from the piglins you can either kill endermans in the purple area's in the nether because they spawn alot there or build a simple gold farm ontop of the nether roof.

The most efficient way of starting a world would actually skip the entire farm and enchanting part, and only going for the loot in the end cities. The dungeon has such an op loot, you would either replace all of your items or combine them with the city's loot anyway. Going into a city with regular iron gear is also much more rewarding than looting one with enchanted diamond armor. Some items like the elytra and shulker boxes are also very useful.
If you are starting a new world, its best if you unlock the most powerful items early, and this means going straight for the cities is the best tactic.

You can skip a lot of this if you find a village. Start with a simple iron farm. I recommend ianxofour's first day iron farm. After that create an armorer a toolsmith and a weaponsmith. You will need some emeralds to start trading with them so a farmer villager is also useful. You can combine a couple farmer villagers to make a villager breeder if you'd like. Make a farm with whatever crops are around and trade until you have enough emeralds to get the armorer, toolsmith and weaponsmith to their iron trade. From there you can just trade iron until you get to their diamond tier where all your gear can be bought without the need to mine for diamonds. From there it's up to you. I usually get to the nether and farm ender pearls in the warped forest and search for a fortress for blaze rods to make eye's of ender to get to the end. After defeating the dragon an enderman farm will set you up for xp to max enchant all the gear you got from your villagers. From there you are set to mine for netherite to get to the final teir.

Pro Tip: If you don't want to spend lots of time mining diamonds (or if you're unlucky like me), you can trade with villagers and you can level them up so that they trade diamond gears (armor, helmets, boots, leggings, pickaxe, shovels etc). At the top level, villagers even trade enchanted items.
This way, you can have enchanted diamond tools without having to mine diamonds or have an enchantment table for that matter

@@sigmaandpi2062 it is actually. You make a farm and grow crops. Trade it with farmer for emerald. Also trade sticks from trees with Fletcher. Then take the emerald to trade with weaponsmith and toolsmith.
Within few hours you'll have enchanted diamond armour and tools without having to mine any diamond. And you'll also get lots of XP.
As an added bonus, they're also a recurrent source or enchanted diamond stuff and you don't have to worry about losing your diamond stuff in a fight or ravine

The Fletcher takes 32 sticks for 1 emerald.
And to max your armorer and weaponsmith you would need to buy lots of stuff from them.
Trading can only be useful if you can make weakness potions and golden Apple, then just cure zombie villager and get cheap trades but if you don't have these two then you are wasting your time in trading.

    • @LonelyRacoon
      @LonelyRacoon ปีที่แล้ว

@@sigmaandpi2062 well there is sticks, wheat, potato, carrot, beet, watermelon, pumpkin and sugarcane (paper) to trade. And with these, you trade among multiple working villagers. Trees can be grown instantly with all the extra seeds (by converting them into bonemeal with a composter) you get with beet and leftover melon. So there's a constant supply of them. Talking about other crops, although they take a long time, it's a volume game and since there's multiple types of crops and multiple working villagers involved, you can very easily get stacks of EMERALD BLOCKS. And with such high supply of emerald, I don't think it's worth the effort to first infect a villager with zombie and then cure them.
Atleast that's what I do and unless my friends get lucky, I'm usually the first one who gets all the enchanted diamond stuff first.
Also, when you're starting the game it takes so much time to first gather the iron, then melt them to make tools only for them to perish after a while. Then you'll have to go on another mining session which is not always productive.
I haven't even started on the risks of getting killed during a mining session and losing all your precious stuff.
It's not wasting time if my results are guaranteed unlike mining which can be highly variable with results.
Also did I mention that you can just buy more gear if your gear runs out if durability or gets despawned in a fight? It's unlimited enchanted diamond stuff with trading. Also, you're self reliant on food which is really important during the beginning.
There's a reason why almost all Minecraft TH-camrs have a trading hall smh.
EDIT: I should mention that you don't just wait for your crops to grow while to trade. It's something that happens in the background while you build your starter base.

    • @sigmaandpi2062
      @sigmaandpi2062 ปีที่แล้ว

@@LonelyRacoon All of those crops takes 3-4 ingame days to grow, most importantly the villager takes like 20-32 of those and gives 1 emerald in return which is very inefficient.
It takes 3 seeds to get one bonemeal, with one stack seeds you will get like 21 bonemeals , and it takes 5-10 bonemeal to grow a single tree.
Even the fletcher trades 32 sticks for 1 emerald, again really inefficient as one wood gives 8 sticks so even with a stack of wood you will barely get 16 emeralds.
Melon is really hard to find, growing only in jungle biome a very rare biome type or you will find the seeds in dungeons, even then farmer takes 4 melon and gives 1 emerald in return, not to forget you will need silk touch to be able to get one melon completely.
Once you get access to few harming potions and golden apples it becomes much easier since after curing those villagers a few times their trades drop to 1 item for 1 emerald. But it takes like 4-5 times for that low price and you will need lots of gold for that.
The new 1.19 update has made finding iron and diamonds so much easier, I got full diamond armour and tools within 3 days. Whereas took me 20 days to get that same diamond armour and tools from villagers even after curing them a lot. Just find a cave which are really abundant in the new 1.19 update and you can find plenty of iron, go to the deepest point and dig to y=-57 level and branch mine a few blocks, within 30 blocks of branch mining you will get atleast half a stack without fortune 3 , and that's guaranteed.
There is literally no harm in mining unless you are cave exploring, branch mining has no risks and you can always avoid the lava if you play properly.
All youtubers have trading hall and i didn't day that having one is useless, but using villagers to get diamond stuff in the beginning is useless since you can get diamonds much faster by mining.
Also raid farms are much better for getting emerald blocks which is again a late game farm so i would recommend to get diamond gear fast and just kill ender dragon, then make an enderman xp farm and you can max your items. Then make all these farms and profit.

    1. mine 3 logs
    2. craft wood pick
    3. make stone tools
    4. hit a village for food, or mine a piece of iron from an exposed cave and obtain flint from gravel. burn animals and slaughter for food.
    5. craft or steal a bed to skip night
    6. obtain full iron armor and tools + shield through a cave or ocean.
    7. enter the nether with a diamond pickaxe
    8. mine down 10 obsidian from the portal
    9. obtain a stack of eyes of ender to be safe. eight blaze rods 16 pearls.
    10. farm gunpowder and sugarcane for rockets
    11. beat the game and get an elytra, loot end cities along the way until you have enough shulker boxes and loot
    12. build basic farms such as iron farm, enderman farm, simple raid farm
    13. end of early game

My way to survive in minecraft:
    1. Get wood QUICKLY (only 1 tree)
    2. Turn all logs into planks
    3. Make a crafting table
    4. Make sticks
    5. Place the crafting table and make a wooden pickaxe
    6. (Usually) Dig straight down and mine EXACTLY 3 stone
    7. Make a stone pickaxe
    8. Mine roughly 24 stone
    9. Make the following things:
    A. Stone Axe
    B. Another Stone Pickaxe
    C. Furnace
    D. Second crafting table (for my house)
    10. Get back up to the surface and collect roughly a stack (64) of logs (in some cases 32 logs)
    11. Dig down again or go into a cave
    ...
When i have iron, i ONLY make an iron pickaxe. I always try to collect 5 diamonds or more. Then i make a diamond pickaxe. Then i find more diamonds or i go back up to the surface. Then i build a house/base, and the rest is random.
Edit: I never make iron armor.

Alternate starter strategy in case you spawn close to an ocean :
    - punch a tree
    - craft a boat with chest and a few basic tools
    - go sail the high seas looking for shipwrecks, buried treasures drowned cities and ruined portals
    - ???
    - PROFITS

First, make stone axe, is better then the sword, you can skip the mob caves if you have 3 doors and water cave ( or non snowy mountains). If you find a village you can get all enchantment and armours you need ( mending, protection 4...)...

1 smelt wood for charcoal as fuel (spruce works best)
2 voltrox iron farm is easy and efficient for solo beginner world

How to survive in minecraft 101:
    - Get wood and craft only a wooden pickaxe, and make sure you have 8 sticks
    - Get 16 stone for furnace + stone tools, now you should make your axe sword and stone pickaxe
    - Now you need to focus on getting sheep, their wool will give you a bed that you can craft to sleep through the whole night
    - Now you need coal and iron, you need the iron for diamonds and just upgrades in general and you'll need the coal for furnaces and torches especially. You can find these in ravines/already generated caves
    - Once you have you smelted your iron with your coal and have an iron pickaxe (And a shield, you NEED a shield so you dont die to mobs) you want to go deeper into your cave until you get into the negatives of the Y coordinate, you can find it in f3.
    - Reach -53, if you cant find -53 then dig down by using a method where you mine 2 blocks beneath you while staying in the middle so that you dont fall to your death but you also can see where you're going and if there is lava/a big fall beneath you
    - Now you just want to strip mine for diamonds

    My biggest advice
As soon as you find a village build your base around there
Early on trap 2 villagers build a house for the a couple of beds
Build some small huts and get your enchants from them, by breaking the lectern till the right enchant is there keep 2 villagers in the breeding hall and you can get any ench quite easy. For emerals best way is fetcher for stick trades get 2-4 of them and you are good to go. Don’t forget you need to trade in order to lock a certain trade from a villager.
1 big set up in terms of time but any ench u need early on fortune unbreaking 3 mending is most likely the most important stuff.

what i do when starting on a new world is get some wood and make my way underground, that means no matter how many days i go without a bed, i wont have to worry about phantoms. with any luck i can find caves and spiders to crush for string to make a bed, once i have 3 wool i can return to the surface and start to build a home.

So I have found that you can use your whole first 20-minute day if you do things in an order. Spend the day light minutes finding the biom you want to build in, plus food and wood. When the sun goes down, dig a hole in the side of a hill and cover the entrance with a block so nothing can get in, then collect stone till the sun comes up.

when grabbing diamonds, make sure you craft the DIAMOND PICKAXE and then the ENCHANTING TABLE, because you will be using the diamond pickaxe for mining obsidian, and enchanting table requires obsidian (and diamond), then you will be getting bookshelves and enchant your items.
