Cleaning and breaking down the form after a press run.

After a press run run on our Chandler & Price jobbing press, you have to clean the form. We used the bed of our Washington hand press to rest the form for cleaning. Howard then broke down the form, put furniture away, and bound the type to be moved back onto a galley for storage.

Muy bueno...no se si va a traducir este mensaje...soy de Argentina de una ciudad al sur...trabaje en los años 80 de tipografo en una imprenta ( todavia soy trabajador grafico) y me llama la atencion que las imposiciones ( lingotes para armar la forma) pre-prensa sean de madera...aca eran de una aleacion de aluminio y acero pero liviano...ah y tema era desarmar la topografia y volverla a los cajones!! Letra x letra y sus espacios!! Era un hermoso trabajo!!
