Summer Afternoon Railfanning in Fostoria, Ohio. 6/26/2017.

Hello everyone! Here is a compilation from my most recent trip to Fostoria, Ohio, where I had a good day of railfanning, though the weather didn't help later on lol, and I had to battle it later on in the day to try to catch some of the trains. Still, I had a pretty good day overall of railfanning on the whole.
In terms of train action, it was a pretty normal day in Fostoria. Lots of autoracks and intermodals for CSX, a handful of manifests for NS, and the typical UP and BNSF foreign power trains that come through Fostoria via the CSX Willard Subdivision. That being said, there were a few rather unique catches. The first was a NS SD40-2 light-power movement in to Blair Yard (the NS local yard in Fostoria), without any cars. We usually don't see SD40-2 light power movements in Fostoria, it must have come back from delivering cars at the local grain silos west of town and didn't have any cars to bring back. The second interesting catch on the afternoon was the CSX maintenance-of-way gondola train, with a good number of ancient gondolas, including Penn Central! It was quite a sight to see so many rare and fallen flag cars from the days of railroad past. The third catch was the "W. Thomas Rice Special" CSX Spirit locomotive leading a CSX autorack train from the Pemberville Sub to the Willard Sub. I was lucky enough to catch it given the pouring rain and high wind. Still, I unfortunately was not able to catch a few other trains in the later half of the afternoon due to the driving rain and that the wind and rain messed up the focus on the camera. Still, I do what I can to catch the trains and have a good time.
