See I’m a little worried that with no update this year of for the last couple that they won’t be doing a mini again. Also if there is ever a folding iPhone that’s even less reason to do an update…..
@@coppervsglass I mean there’s already rumors about an OLED mini in 2026 and Tim Cook even mentioned the iPad mini calling it the small but all mighty iPad when the new iPads were announced this year . So I don’t think they’ll abandon it because they know people love it!
I have an iPad mini 6 wifi/cellular and use it daily, much more than my 11" M1 iPadPro. I also edit video and photos on the mini. I use my M1 iPad Pro more or less like a laptop for editing videos, photos using lumafusion, affinity photo etc. We have a M1 MacBook Pro that we use for tasks that are not supported on the Mini 6 or the iPad Pro. I am looking forward to the day that iPadOS allows enhanced background processing for apps and not just system process's as it is now. If that change happens to iPadOS I will no longer need to use our MacBook Pro / MacOS, I will be able to do everything I want on the Mini 6 / Mini 7 / iPadPro.
Here’s what’s gonna happen…I have a mini 4 and been doing my research. Don’t want a 64 gig mini 6 so will save my pennies for a 256 gig which in Space Grey. Those are rarely available in the Apple Refurbished site. I will then bite the bullet and buy a new 256gb Space Grey. It will arrive and and I will be overjoyed! …one day before Apple release the mini 7 with a base storage of 128 gig at £499.00. MUTHAF~
100% they will. I didn't mention in the video but should have. While its still a great tablet and I would still buy now they will 100% be bringing out a new one soon. I dont think it will be a mini with an M chip but I think it will have a better screen and the chip from the current iPhone 15 Pro.
@@coppervsglass Strange…the 256 g I pad mini’s have now become available on the Apple Refurbished site…in space grey. But I will wait and see what minimum memory is on the Mini 7 before I jump!
So going over the good and bad, performance and gaming etc is not focusing? Thanks for the feedback I will take it on board however I feel the video is a reflection of using the Mini in 2024.

Apple pencil pro works on the iPad Air M2 too.
The android folks should come up with something similar.

100%. All they need is a higher refresh rate and the chip from the iPhone and we are good to go!
Mine overheats, drops Wi-Fi, has a poor display and many apps are not optimized for the form factor. Not impressed.
