SYNOPSIS:-
AMI RABI THHAKURER BOU
‘Ami Robi Thhakurer Bou’, the story revolves around various untold manuscript of Rabindranath Thhakur’s Chhuti alias Mrinalinidebi alias the youngest daughter in law of Thhakurbari. ‘Jotodin kachhe chhile bolo ki upaye aponare rekhechhile emon lukaye’, this single line of Rabi thakur is enough to describe Mrinalinidebi. All the unrevealed secret truths of Mrinalinidebi’s life take us to a journey to know the original Rabi Thhakur as a human being apart from the God Rabi thhakur.
Young Bhabatarini of Jasohor ties knot with the youngest son of Jorasanko Rajbari Rabindranath Thhakur. But Rabindranath’s sister in law Kadamvari Devi was not at all happy with this marriage. She attempts suicide after 3 months of this marriage and many people starts blaming Rabi thhakur’s marriage for this suicide. After Bhabatarini came to her in laws house, her father-in-law alias Babamoshai alias Debendranath Thhakur named her Mrinalini. Most of the people were curious with the fact whether she be able to become a worthful wife of Rabindranath Thhakur or not? At a very tender age, Mrinalini took all the responsibilities of the huge Jomidar family. Along with this she had to take the responsibilty of being mother of Rabi thhakur’s children several times. After all these tries did she become the true housewife of Rabi thhakur or she had to leave the world with severe pain and mental suffering? Why did she always utter a single line ‘Kano amake biye korechhile Rabithhakur’? Does this question narrate the sorrow she suffered all through her married life?
We made an attempt to peep into the core of Mrinalini’s heart and tried to reveal the untold secret and miseries of her which she couldnot narrate during her life time. This ‘Ek Masher Golpo’ is about this mere approach of us to minimise the pain of Mrinalini.

ঠাকুর বাড়ি প্রচলিত হিন্দু ধর্মীয় বিশ্বাসের অনুসারী ছিলেন না, তারা রাজা রামমোহন রায় প্রচলিত ব্রাহ্ম ধর্মের অনুসারী ছিলেন। হয়তো এ কারনেই শাঁখা সিঁদুর পলা ব্যবহার করতেন না।
