What would be the tank to tank mileage? I had booked a petrol manual but later switched over to the diesel. Much better fuel efficiency and power delivery.
None of these vehicles are comparable to Jeep in reality considering the build quality , reliability , driving dynamics , safety , premium feel , brand value , attention to details, precision engineering , global technical standards , overall the Jeep is worth its price in my opinion.

Where as tata has the worst resale value in my neighborhood one uncle bought a tata harrier for around 21lac and after 7month he sold it for 13lac... jeep also has a great resale value

Real challenge is service centre availability, even for a minor issue we have to travel a lot and it seems impractical all the times otherwise the car is best to own in big cities
Why some people is praising harrier.i have ridden jeep as well as harrier,spending 26 lakhs on road price for harrier is not worth for money since the inside cabin is worst,most of the things are made of soft plastics for cost cutting,infotainment system is stupid and also the other main thing there service is at worst.body roll is very much high so not good for long journeys for person sitting in back seat.my friend had a harrier,he always compalains about servicing because most of the service showroom staffs are irresponsible.this car is only good for a road presence that is the only thing I liked abt this car.harrier needs a lot of improvement.moreover they only comes with diesel varient.the driving is superb.but can't compare the driving dynamics of jeep with this car.for high speeds jeep gives you a lot of confidence.

Hi Ajeya , I was in same dilemma. Go for Sports variant in automatic this is going to be perfect for your pockets and needs. Harrier is good suv but there are few issues with that, Tata conducted safety test on Harrier but never revealed the result , the main panel looks good but lacks comfort and class.Suggest you to go for test drive for both the vehicles.
I too have 8 year old Wagon R and trying my best to convince myself to take Jeep Compass. But diesel Auto(4*2) is a real miss(in HYD, Diesel Auto starts at 34 lacs on road). Tough i love manual, for its size, Torque converter is best option which is missing in 4*2 diesel. Also No cruise control in Diesel Manual which is definitely not a costlier feature Rest of the things are great in Compass

I bought Model S Diesel Automatic, not a good buying experience overall, but I chose to ignore. However within a week I noticed that driver side door has many colour bubbles. Now they offer repainting of the door from their local work shop. Very unprofessional treatment from Jeep. Good luck to prospective Jeep buyers.

Jeep is still one of the most respected brand worldwide , its lifestyle and culture. Sales figure dont matter much in such cases , Iphones in india sales is only 2% , they charge premium price for their product to give that exclusivity to every buyer. Not everyone is going to buy jeep due to same reason. Unlike Creta & Seltos its not going to be a common car on road.
Headoffice of MG is in UK. Not its parent. Whatever has been launched in India till now with MG badge has nothing to do with MG brand in UK. They bought the brand and simply applied MG badge on two existing Chinese SUV and named them hector and Gloucester 🤣 It's like Tata applying landrover badge on harrier 🤣

@@VikrantVox my first Octavia I got in 2002 also had laser welded engine frames . Nothing new for an international brand who focus on safety . What you should check is whether seltos and creta are made on Kia’s K2 platform or not 🤦🏻♂️

I asked baout after sale servies and safety test ratings and never got satisfactory answers :(

Ground clearance is very low in this price range go for mg hector or innova in this price range and also space in jeep

Jeep is still one of the most respected brand worldwide , its lifestyle and culture. Sales figure dont matter much in such cases , Iphones in india sales is only 2% , they charge premium price for their product to give that exclusivity to every buyer. Not everyone is going to buy jeep due to same reason. Unlike Creta & Seltos its not going to be a common car on road.

No bro they all have different frames , Only jeep uses laser welding techniques on frame building. Pls check with other sources as well.
@@VikrantVox my first Octavia I got in 2002 also had laser welded engine frames . Nothing new for an international brand who focus on safety . What you should check is whether seltos and creta are made on Kia’s K2 platform or not 🤦🏻♂️

Once you personally take a test drive of TUCSON diesel at any showroom & you will find FUN TO DRIVE experience compared to COMPASS , COMPASS has better handling .
In INDIA only two companies provide best in class service after sales

@@shriramkatakdhond I am in Gurgaon and went to their agency , they dint have test drive vehicle at first place , when i took the drive after a weeks time there was strange sound coming from dashboard which the executive told me that its a test drive vehicle and handled roughly mostly . I asked baout after sale servies and safety test ratings and never got satisfactory answers :(

being a test drive vehicle you may seen rattling noice in dashboard , as you know HYUNDAI in well known for its outstanding fit & finish .
My concern was whether you tried it or not, but when you already have driven it & after that choose COMPASS , no issue sir.

@@shriramkatakdhond I am sure Tucson is a great and safe product I saw the NCAP rating and crash test videos but my experience with vehicle & agency was not that great + Tucson was 3-4 lacs expensive than Jeep so I went with Jeep.
