Their basic Arby's back in the day was dirt cheap with their five for fives. Pop would spring for the special and feed the fam with that take home a sack. If you ordered the same special sandwiches in a upscale eatery you'll spend thirty a person and tip the server accordingly.

Granted slice beef has slightly less, freshly slice means that it has a low surface area, until serving. Means the bacteria has less time taking advantage of the increase surface area.

It's like the KFC that's a block from my house is like $30 for a bucket of chicken because the restaurant has to charge more because of the higher employee cost due to minimum wage being higher in Seattle then the rest of the state of Washington.

My wife likes the Market Fresh Roasted Turkey Ranch Bacon sandwich, but it isn't available on the app. Additionally, you can't order you food to be picked up at a later time, the only choice is ASAP. They don't list all of their specials, like the 4 roast beef sandwiches for 10 dollars they currently offer. Your food isn't kept under a warming light, it's just sitting out on the counter. You can't customize your sandwiches, either. They don't put a copy of your order on the bag so it can be easily identified. I recently (last night) placed an order on the app and then went inside to order my wife's sandwich, and the order I had made on the app was missing, so I had to wait while they prepared it again. Sonic's app has their entire menu and all of their specials on it. You can even schedule your pick ups for hours later and it will be there with a copy of the order attached ... and the food is always hot and ready to eat ... and you can customize your sandwiches and drinks.
Some years back, on opening day of an Arby's we'd just completed, my team an I were the first ones on the job to make sure all the plumbing, and gas appliances were working. There I observed the manager loading the oven with beef. Due to the "beef" being wraped in a string like mesh I could'nt tell what cut of beef they were using, so I aske the manager. He informed me that there are problable dozens of different cuts off the cow. He proved this by taking a couple slices of already cooked beef" ask me to take a look. I saw different cuts throughout the meet that were held together with the netting. This was before "meat glue" become popular. Next time take a look and tell me I'm wrong.
Arby's is NOT cheap. Just like Church's Chicken. One whole meal is more than $10 and ordering sides just adds more money. Also I do miss the potato cakes and the ham and pizza sliders, they were the only reason I went there and now I never step foot in one cuz it's too expensive and gross. As a former employee of Arby’s let me set the record straight. The meat that is used for their classic roast beef and Beef and cheddar is a roast of various cuts of meat that are compressed together, injected with beef juices and vacuum sealed in bags before being frozen. Those injected juices actually have a tenderizing effect as it thaws. They are then wrapped in foil and slow roasted in the ovens and put on a sliver that slices it super thin to maintain the tenderness. Beef is at record high prices right now but I think they’ve done a pretty good job of keeping prices low enough for a fast food chain. And of course those fries are frozen! So are McD’s, BK’s and umpteen other fast food chains.
So being that I'm broke it's off to Arby's I go!!! I watched your other video on the best Arby's items so thank you again!!!!!!! Edit - reading the comments makes me realize I can't afford Arby's either......

Arby's is considered "inexpensive"? Arby's is a payday kinda "fast food", especially these days. But Arby's quality has deteriorated drastically. The curly fries are practically inedible and the portions are skimpy at best. Was once a fan, but quality and service isn't of value for the cost.
I went to Arbys in Ephrata pa and they gave me the wrong sandwich. When i went back to make it right, they had the greatest attitude with me and the one man with make up on was all pissed off. I used to go there to eat all the time and now i go once in a blue moon because they did away with Pepsi. But because of this, i will never, ever go there again. Sorry arbys but you now suck....
