Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, founder and president of LoveWorld Incorporated, also known as Christ Embassy, has reacted to the fire outbreak at the church's headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria
The main auditorium at the church headquarters was destroyed in the fire outbreak on Sunday morning
Oyakhilome said the church would build a bigger headquarters, stating that nothing happens in the life of a child of God by accident ¹ ² ³ ⁴ ⁵. He recalled the 2001 Ikeja Cantonment bombing incident, when the building vibrated so much that they thought it was going to collapse.
The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service (LSFRS) reported that the fire escalated because the church's fire service tried to handle the situation without assistance from the Lagos fire service The cause of the fire is still unknown and is currently under investigation
