First let me say that the CMA folks have COMPLETELY gone over the edge, they don’t seem to have any idea of what country music really is. I have been on the fence for a long time about country music, it began to change when I first heard A Little Dive Bar In Dahlonega. I’m so happy that Ashley McBryde came along and gave me hope that country music can be saved. I appreciate your music and hope that you stay true to your music!

New country is even more rock than southern rock, but I still enjoy it. But Ashley has become my favorite “old school “ country artist. The phrase “lonely makes a heart ruthless” brought tears to my eyes the first time I heard it. Still does. She writes what she lives, what we live. Her “Light on in the Kitchen” took me back to my grandma’s kitchen. I am loving Lindeville! Her “Brenda Put Your Bra On”could have been written about my Mom and her four sisters! Bonfire at Tina’s is empowering women who stand by other women, which we don’t do enough. Keep it country Ashley!
I'll agree with that she's talented and definitely a tribe to real country, but while I like the tune and the talent in this song, I can't stand the bs lyrics. "Nobody's getting hurt" and "It's okay to just need someone.". Nah.

Stop hating, all music evolves. You didn't listen to country music that was made in the 40's, 50's, and 60's so now that you had your era of music now it's not country. I agree it has a little pop in it but if it makes you feel good who cares.

I am not a big fan of country music in general but I absolutely admire this lady, her vibe and such...she seems to know exactly who she is in all of her lyrics and I find that so refreshing, her music is actually really relatable in an effortless way. She’s actually just amazing, my dad surprised me with tickets to see her play here in Scotland a couple months back and it was thee best concert I have ever been too ( and I’ve been to a lot) totally in love with her and her music

I was honored and privileged to sit upclose at Ashley’s concert at the casino in Durant, OK. She put it all on stage for her fans. This was my first return to a concert since before the pandemic. Wow! I knew Ashley would be amazing but I was simply blown away by the sheer vocal power and her amazing band. Love this video and loved hearing Ashley perform this live. Thank you, Ashley and bandmates for an amazing show here in Oklahoma! xox
1st time I seen you I believe was the interview with Gail King and what a talent you are!!! You have a energy, essence, and a voice that when I heard you sing I knew you were definitely the real deal a force to be reckoned with and singing about your Dad. Sucks when Ashley was done singing at a bar I worked at in fort smith Arkansas, I hopped up to sing some karaoke and a co worker messed with me on another mic. While I was singing just as she turned to listen. I just wanna say miss Ashley, your voice and music is something I can’t describe. Such a beautiful song, it's catchy, the way she sings it is so consistent. I'm probably not making any sense because I can't really put into words how much I like the song, it does tell a "not so good story," but it all comes together in the end with what we all try to find "loyalty" she didn't say a word, just closed shop and rode shotgun
