Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk Linx vs RsLinx Classic

There are two softwares for connecting to Allen Bradley PLCs. The new FactoryTalk Linx and the older RsLinx Classic. With some exceptions, use FactoryTalk Linx when connecting to Allen Bradley PLCs over Ethernet and USB. Use RsLinx Classic when connecting with older methods such as serial.
