Great job man, it looks amazing 👍 I've had my mask since last year and I don't have the nerves to paint my mask. You've gave me confidence that I can do it.The only thing I'll keep it stock is his hair. Thanks for the awesome tutorial.
Just follow the video buddy.. also i would keep the hair on and style it rather than remove it and adding your own hair. If you muck up the paint, then remove it and start again until you are happy. Use as many reference pics to get it as close to screen look as possible. cheers
Hi , a have a tots Ben Tramer i just finished removing the white hair . But there is still a lot of thick hard glue in places where the hair once was . How can i remove this glue . Regards
Nice score. I’m not sure what glue they are using these days but I struggled to remove the hair. So in essence I can’t help you on that one , apologies .
With the green and yellow, did you mix those together or use them separately. Also did you use prosaide for those colors? This is my favorite rehaul tutorial I’ve seen so far. Thanks!
yes its held up fine. I used prozaid with the paint so it would not crack. you can mix one third house paint to one third latex to one third distilled water for the same blend. cheers
I personally could not. I saw that some others did. If i was to do another I would skip that step as it took ages and the end result was not worth the hassle.
Finally a video of someone that actually shows how much paint and materials they use thanks for this vid bro 🙏 🙏
Happy to help and thank you for the comment.....cheers

Thanks brother..yeah keeping the hair will save you a ton of time.
It doesn’t make you nervous to take all of the hair off? That’s what I’m most worried about 😅
In hindsight, leave the hair on and cover it with plastic bags and masking tape.
great job on the paint job.
Thank you Justin for your kind words..cheers
Great job buddy. Just got the mask today and wanted some tips to paint it. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Did you add water to the black and brown mix of paint for those fine details?
I Had to tone them down afterwards as they were too prominent. I glazed over them with a thin white mix.
Great job it looks amazing I'm in shock. It helped me with my mask thanks a bunch. I love your channel so...u got a new subscriber 😉. Cheers man.
Thanks for your support brother. Hopefully the channel will keep you entertained. If you would like any tutorials, just suggest them...cheers

Many thanks. I used them separately also both with prosaide for adhesion and flexibility. cheers
@@chefhawk Cheers!
1:12 HIS WEAVE GOT SNACHED😂🤣🤣
It was an ouch moment!
Sick rehaul man! Really love the content!
Thank you brother....cheers
chefhawk you are very welcome, once again great rehaul!
Fantastic and helpful video mate! I’m going to pick one up today to play with
Great stuff and good luck.
Awesome video, thank you
How’s it held up after all these months, has the paint cracked or is still the way it was
yes its held up fine. I used prozaid with the paint so it would not crack. you can mix one third house paint to one third latex to one third distilled water for the same blend. cheers
chefhawk Ok thank you, also when you painted the cracks in the mask where they real cracks or did you just paint them on
@@tmg7222 They were a bit of both of real embedded and slight additions. I just kept checking reference pics all the time.
How can I remove all the paint from the mask especially the white part
I personally could not. I saw that some others did. If i was to do another I would skip that step as it took ages and the end result was not worth the hassle.
Matte finish?
yes...if it is glossy you can add talc to matte it down.
I have been having a hell of a time getting the base coat right as far as color goes
@@Cut_Throat_Greedy The base colour I used was white titanium. H.t.h
For someone who has zero experience rehauling masks, I just don't trust myself doing something like this.
You should try it...maybe on a real cheap mask first. Or a mask you don’t like.
@@chefhawk Oh! That's a great idea.
awsome dude
Thank you sir.
i, like a couple minutes in, just realised something about his appearance, why does he not have hair on the back of his right hand?????
I need to watch it again.
chefhawk how do you think he paints so well despite having shaved the back of his right hand
I'm to scared to paint mine but I will try
That's the spirit.
