Tess is on her way to a job interview when a heavy snowstorm forces her to seek shelter in the most unexpected of places - a Tarot and Tea shop. But what starts as a chance encounter soon turns into something far more enigmatic and Tess finds herself drawn into the mystical world of the Tarot. As the cards reveal glimpses of her future, Tess begins to question whether her destiny is truly her own.

Lovely and dreamlike, it's like both are having a dream together and preparing for it (the dream) at the same time! I heard sometime ago the story of a woman who had a NDE and she said that when she was "in heaven" she experienced two simultaneous lines of time (two timelines), one that was boundless in which she saw the entire Universe and the future, and another one inside a room with other people like her. I believe this film hints at this dual perception of time. I loved it.🧡🧡

I could have sworn that I commented on this before?! Anyway, it was even better watching it on a second viewing. The Romanian actress in particular is so magnetic and charming - well written dialogue and beautifully shot. I may well be a straight guy, but I think your films in particular really have a universal appeal across all sexes! Keep up the good work! 😍👌

short, but well-constructed movie. It captures the between-wars (interwar) atmosphere from Bucharest, it reminds me of Eliade's story, even though the music was more French than Romanian, but "bunica", "matusa" and "vin fiert" were spot on. We really drink vin fiert (mulled wine) during cold weather. I really enjoy it, good job!
