Dean's Speaker Series | Tekedra Mawakana Co-CEO, Waymo

Tekedra Mawakana is the Co-CEO at Waymo, an autonomous vehicle technology company launched by Google with a mission to make it safe and easy for people and things to get where they are going. In her role, Tekedra is responsible for overall company strategy, with her primary focus on ensuring Waymo’s transformational technology, the Waymo Driver, is commercialized and widely adopted. Tekedra has more than two decades of experience advising consumer technology companies, with previous roles at eBay, Yahoo, AOL, and Startec.
In a fireside chat format, we will have the opportunity to hear about Tekedra’s career journey as a Black leader in technology, her advice to students regarding the mobility industry, and how she leads in a rapidly evolving company. Following the discussion, there will be time for audience Q&A.
