I've played online ranked for the very first time last month and I was surprised that I got rather easily into master at first try. I barely played like 5-6 matches a day, playing from 6th june to 30th. Erron Black was my main, used Noob saibot and Kotal Khan as subs (and found out that Kotal is a lot of fun). I consider myself an overall decent player and quick learner but with flaws that i'm not willing to correct, and I lack variety and struggle against street level characters such as Jacqui, Jax, Baraka and Cassie. Like you, I ran into some players that made me wonder if I was worthy of my current rank lol...
Jose Sena sometimes i feel like i'm really good and sometimes i'll get on a losing streak it's just the day i guess. i've beating people that i've had a 1% chance of winning and ive lost to people i've had like a 70% of winning lol. it's just about the matchup. i also play with characters nobody uses like dvorah and shao so i can have an advantage lol

He is still top tier. Just a little less braindead after plus frames (+1 now instead of +6) No guaranteed down 4 anymore but you can still do footsies.
The plus 6 attacks were ALL duckable, so yes. And only some of the biggest hurtboxes were forced to take the forceballs, but 90% of the cast could duck the second one.

I've practiced liu kang for a couple months only cause the first good player I saw was ninjakilla, I'm decent with him now but I find myself switching through like 3 other characters just cause of the slow pokes
I'm not good by any means, but as Johnny I get D2 krushing blowed every match I play, and it's not even predicted most of the time my opponent just spams that shit

The character has no tools what so ever. No KBs, no throw loops, bad armor break, no mids. All he has now is D4. Ppl say “he’s fine he’s a neutral footsie character” but so is every character on here without overhead/low mix ups. It's a Shame that they can't waste an hour learning characters like: Kollector, Sindel,Kotal . I fought a smurf account beat him ones than swap to upgraded and won it all😡 I swear sometimes I think Jacqui can cancel a normal to a throw.

Not only that, but he could forced you to block and then you get throw looped all day because his D4 jails and you just get hit with more plus frames. It was almost never your turn and he was doing specials on block. His projectile used to be 9 frames in outtake, so he could put three on the screen and you couldn't outzone him at full screen.

He said it’s the only reason he dropped her (because up glow kick which was used to make it safe got a FB gap). So no, he dropped her because she got nerfed

Johnny is still a very solid character regardless. He’s not number 1 but he’s more than able to win tournaments.
