I lost my golden girl a couple months ago, and seeing Pringle in your videos never fails to make me smile. Gonna pick up one of the new shirts for sure. Congrats on the JR JM, and thanks for all the content.
Best way you can protect the signature on the Jim Root is to get it clear coated over the signature. If you play it it's going to eventually wear off unless it has something over it. My son got a signed Green Day guitar when he got to play on stage with them in Atlanta and that's what we did to it.
So, basically you're doing what I did with the racks. I have a dual display setup and had my friend who's the woodshop teacher at the school where I work build me two 3U rack boxes.
those tweed cases hurt my eyes too when I look at them. I looked into it and apparently it's a thing with astigmatism when looking at high contrast patterns like that
Boxes in the kitchen are probably my favorite videos you produce. Your reviews are entertaining to, there is just something different about Boxes in the kitchen that I enjoy
Spooky, I just looked at those headphones minutes before watching this. Studio monitor headphones are optimised for hearing a mix with perfect accuracy and clarity so you can make the right choices while working on music production etc.
Congrats on all the new equipment Hunter. I can't wait to see the new studio setup once you're moved in! Also, I've said it before but in 2022 we need a Agufish instrumental Album!!! Keep grinding homie!
The Jim Root Jazzmaster slays every other guitar I own. It's gonna be hard for you not to play the hell out of it. Hopefully someone has some pointers on how to protect where he signed it.
I'm surprised you didn't already have an amp switcher, though that might just be me watching this right after a nap and mixing up my TH-camrs 😂 Hopefully we get a mini studio update when you get everything set up, I'm genuinely stoked to see how everything comes together!
Yea clear coat is the way to go, I would take everything off the guitar and get the whole body cleared. I’d make sure it doesn’t turn the guitar shiny and not matte. I’m not well versed in clear coating but I do know it will protec
The JR jazzmaster is dope. I have his strat. It's a shame that the guitar does not fit properly in the case (i e. headstock) and fender was completely useless in their customer support. They fixed it to their later models though
08:44 so, you take a really soft cotton cloth and wet a corner of it in acetone. Then you rub the signature with it (circular motion). That thing will come right off and the guitar will be good to go. Just tune it and chug along.
Those headphones seem really cool but I need closed back headphones since I need my headphones to do a lot of different things with, including recording guitars and vocals while wearing them and can’t do that with open back headphones.
When new signature is coming out? I love first one, after few minor changes became my favorite guitar. Please keep scaleheight and neck shape on new one :)
Dude!!! That whole time you were talking about the Two Notes Torpedo Reload I was like “yes I need this” then when you said it was discontinued I was so bummed. Do you know if they are making a 2.0 model or something?
I love the new pringle shirt. Quality Gag shirt. Might wind up buying it if budget permits. I am happy for you that you finally got the JRJM as well. Cool video as always.
I own a jim root tele and felt it being pretty cool. I never tried a jackson before in my life so I never cared for the Mick Thompson Sig. I tried his new one in the store a few weeks ago. I bought it instantly. I think it feels and plays so much better than the Root. I would say try to get one to try it. No reason to have featured the Root so much on the channel and not the Mick. Might as well right?
The amp switcher looks like a mandatory piece of gear when you start to stack amp like you do ! I will recieve my first amp next month so I am not concern by this... yet ;)
Haha, that shootout was ace. As for the marker, just leave it. It's permanent marker, you rub them out much? How much are you touching that part of the guitar?
I bought a signed mic from "upon a burning body" beginning of the night it was 95 bucks but they kept going down 10 at a time ended up getting it for 25 bucks got pictures with the singer but had no were to put it so it went in my pocket and almost all the signature got smeared and rubbed off but even without the signature a used sm58 deffinitely goes for more than 25 but still a bummer
I would suggest to just never touch the signature and never clean that guitar… kinda nasty but my guitar was signed by John Petrucci 11 years ago and it’s still there because of that , I’ve wiped the body a little bit but never around the signature, congrats on the deal!
I have trypophobia, and i just wanted to correct your comment. most people aren't scared/disgusted by patterns like that, it's mostly things that resemble disease, or are otherwise "gross" or unnatural looking. I don't know anyone who would be affected by the grid of jacks on the back of the amp switcher, or anything similar. i don't wanna go all obnoxious "um, actually," but i just wanted to chime in. love the vids btw
You protect it buy treating it like what it is. A collector item since its sighned. Id get the signiture authenticated and keep it put away not play it and keep it in the collection of guitars that are not meant to be played. If he hadnt sighned it id say play it but not with that signiture. 20 yrs from now it might b worth 10gs
I get what you're saying, but I bought it to play the crap out of it haha. Honestly I bought it more for the guitar than the signature. The signature is a nice bonus, though!
With a guitar that has visible wear and you can't prove that it was Jim Root's playing that did it, I'd be preserving the signature and riffing the hell out of the guitar.
Oh muffin you have too many amps and cabs and the cords are a nightmare!!! You poor thing with all those expensive tube amps!!! (I win. My modeling amp doesn't have cable nightmares)
Those two definitely sound very different to me, but if you think they sound similar (especially through TH-cam compression), that’s not a bad thing. Signal chain has a lot to do with tone, as does the individual player. I guarantee you with the same settings and gear, Rabea is going to sound like Rabea, Jim Root is going to sound like Jim Root, Chris Robertson is going to sound like Chris Robertson. The biggest difference is feel, which is why the actual commentary in TH-cam reviews is important to pay attention to.
I have a solution to your signature problem: ignore it. Wear it off slowly, with loving abuse, and for that personal touch, skip the manicures. With a bit of patience, you can ask Jim Root to sign it again. And wouldn't that be a thrill! The theory being Deux le'Metre would prefer to see his signature guitars played, played often, played well, and making joyful noise to the limit.

I love seeing those videos of Billie Joe inviting kids on stage, it’s cool to hear a story about it from someone got to see their son experience it!
Wait a minute..
Nice new Harley Benton signature model 😉
YOOOOO FUCK YEAH THE RELOAD RULES DUDE I LOVE MINE
I was just thinking this morning that I've missed seeing you. Glad for some new content from you, Hunter!
So, basically you're doing what I did with the racks. I have a dual display setup and had my friend who's the woodshop teacher at the school where I work build me two 3U rack boxes.
those tweed cases hurt my eyes too when I look at them. I looked into it and apparently it's a thing with astigmatism when looking at high contrast patterns like that
if you'd go for the two 4 piece rack mount enclosures you could add a graphic EQ in too
Those shirts are awesome!!!
That "Right Pringle?" shirt is amazing
Happy for you man!
And the Squier sounds AMAZING!
I WISH Fender would do a factory run of Jim's SANDBLASTED Jazzmaster. I would buy that in a heartbeat.
Totally agree!!! That is a dream guitar. We should get a list of people that want to order a run of that. Bet it would cost around $7k.
My dream guitar!
Now for Wage War riffs on the Jim Root Jazzmaster 👀👀
So sick, love that Jim Root Jazzmaster!!
I’m glad you finally got your jazzmaster! What a beauty
I’d tape off a square around the signature and and lightly spray coat it with satin poly. Like a couple very thin layers.. good luck man
That's a great idea
@@YeOldeMachina thanks!
Always here to help build the Agufish empire, homie! -George
The riff right when you started opening the khe audio is awesome!!!
Dave Mustaine's Gibson EXP is out. Thoughts?

Dude, love your content! Recently found your channel and I really dig what you do! Keep it up!
Congratulations on the jazzmaster. Awsome guitar. Plus it's signed by the metal master himself. YES! 🤘😆🤘

Hopefully we get a mini studio update when you get everything set up, I'm genuinely stoked to see how everything comes together!
The Reload can be still seen on Two Notes website, I don't know if it'll be soon discontinued
Yea clear coat is the way to go, I would take everything off the guitar and get the whole body cleared. I’d make sure it doesn’t turn the guitar shiny and not matte. I’m not well versed in clear coating but I do know it will protec

NEXT BOX!!
Jim's red sandblasted Jazzmaster is a beast and I like his black 2004 Fender flathead
Love the Jim Root Jazzmaster

Nah, nah, he's looking to preserve the signature, not get rid of it.
@@themorrigan1312 Take a picture of it. Done
Love the vids man
you always seem to upload when i sit down for dinner and need something to watch lmao
I would recommend 3m paint protection film. You only get one shot to apply it over the autograph, so practice before the final.
A whole vid on setting up rack is defo a winner for me
I like seeing you nerd out a little over gear related to the videos you make.
What was traded for the jazz master?
when you miss saying first because you were busy pleasing the algorithim

Hi, i don't think the torpedo reload will be discontuned, it is always on there website, at least in france. cheers
Great show sir!!!

It may be the TH-cam compression but the squire mini jazz and the Jim root sound exactly identical
congrats 👏 sick guitar
YT Notifs ftw 🙌
Nah, Discord notifications work 100% better for the guys I like that use it
@@wesleyzimmerman94 if only discord bot didn’t shit the bed most the time
Does this mean Hunter can cook some food rather than living on McDonalds and Nando's as he's obviously had to do for the rest of the year?
You did a great job with the squire! Tone was close. But that Jim root sounds amazing. Is it just me or does the mahogany body sound tighter?
Hi Pringle!
What do you think of the new dave mustane gibson signature? I'd love to see what you think of in in an upcoming video. Cheers
Awesomeness!
You should try get in touch with Hagstrom guitars and get the Fantomen on for a review. Fantastic price point.
Haha, that shootout was ace. As for the marker, just leave it. It's permanent marker, you rub them out much? How much are you touching that part of the guitar?
Any thoughts on how the neck or feel of this Jim root compares to the mexican version with the block inlays?
Bro!!!!!!!! Super fukn jelllyyy!!! I absolutely LOVE that Jim Root Jazz!
Jim has THE best approach to signature guitars - one volume, everything else is pointless.
Are you gonna change the pickups for his new Daemonium set?
How do you enter ?
EPIC
Stop playing with my mini jazzmaster and send me my baby

New glasses Hunto?
Hunter I just have one question, how often do you get a cut 🙂🙂????
Should be called the fender metalmaster !
Not sure if it’s just me but there’s some green flickering going on in this video
"Old guy guitar" there it is, uf. Love guitars, thanks. Bend it like your parents and your kids hate it!
Imagine Jim root hits you up for anything
Ah yes, the huh duh four hundgeos from old mate Senn.
Nissssssssssssssssssce 🍻🤘🏻
Another episode of Unboxufish
Oddly enough, the Squire sounded better for a lot of that, IMO.
Prolly because the pickups are voiced and EQed pretty different. The Squier has Daemonums, while the sig has EMG 81/60 set.
@@Fiddy_Too Solid observation. 👌
KHE, I just pronounce it as “khé”
Ze Swiss box haz been protected by yodelpower.
The J-45 might be considered the workhorse, but when it comes to electrics, that title goes to Fender.
Fender= "old people guitars", I feel targeted. I'm 51. I happen to love my first strat that I bought 2 years ago. Sweet jazzmaster though.
When are we gonna see what Matt Heafy sent you?
When did two notes start making vcr’s? Lol jk

That guitar is a player, it'd be dumb to keep it in the case. Better to just spray some clear coat or something over to preserve it
