Sure. Start with the standard setting of 8 clicks and 1/2 clockwise atleast that is what i read in the manual lol then just keep riding get a feel for it and adjust accordingly, if it is stiffer the twist the knob 1 full twist clockwise and once you get close to your desired setting you start adding or decreased just 1/2 twist the knob to make it perfect for you. Beautiful bike but I don't like the exhaust and the sound.. IMO it doesn't suit this touring bike, it's not a race bike.. and I don't know if the hot exhausts will damage parts of the rear brake and swing arm over time..

Good question my guy. The purpose of loop is to retain some kind of back pressure. So you get torque not just at the low end part of the rpm but also in the mid's and high's. But, this is a temporary setup. I may ditch the loop and have it straight piped right before I can find a shop in my area that FLASH my ECU. Appreciate you tunning in my guy. Have a great day!
@Luc yes, it definitely affects. Like now with the stock fender i still get some mud on my jacket and helmet. You can imagine without the fender or only with the fender eliminator/tail tidy. 🤣
@Luc you can check this one out : www.motodynamic.com/fender-eliminator-kit-kawasaki-ninja-1000-1000sx-2017-2022.html , it'll still somehow protect your tail light from rocks and may protect you and your passenger from getting hit by the water/mud coming from the rear tire. I am still searching for an alternative one as well. hope this helps.
