My grandma raised me and is the only person who ever showed love towards me. She is now in her late 70’s and health is declining. She loves yellow roses and I’ve tried and tried to paint one but it never works. I pray that I can learn from this, so that I may paint her a beautiful painting of yellow roses before she passes. Thank you 🙏

Tisha Duke Hardin bless you sweetie. God will guide you. Relax, Read psalms and let Him speak to you. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Paint from your heart. Keep in mind what he does in 30 minutes might take us 2 hrs...lol

Sir you have been my savior my life giving me a positive look. God sent you my way. Never cease to amaze how beautiful these pictures are. As I've said before I am blind and disabled I have detail vision. My son and mom made sure I have all your paints books and brushes. As you said in one of your classes or in your book it gets being scared to use paint yes that would be me terrified. Because I don't have any money and so I get worried if I'm going to use too much of something. However I don't have your MDF boards but my daughter got me plenty of canvas so it's just a matter of figuring it out and working with that as opposed to the MDF. Bless her heart and her husband for making sure that I have something positive that I do everyday and I thank you sir for your classes and for the beautiful roses. For those of you who do not know what detail vision is my eyes do not censor light I have no peripheral vision very telescope. I'm unable to drive and my home is just like a blind person you keep everything exactly in the same place. Thank you I'm here I go I'm nervous
Hi Nida, You can do it! Great paintings come with practice and confidence. I am so happy you are inspired by my designs and find the information useful. I suggest that you lay out your colors in the same order each time. Soon, you will always know where each one is and you can focus more on your roses. David, when I finish the 100 roses practice I most assuredly will share it!and give you the credit it’s a big IF, tho’. I love the paints and brushes. My daughters ask what I wanted for birthday without stuttering I said his paint and paint. even if I don’t have any knowledge to understand those big words you use as I have zero n formal training. I love to sit get lost in the feeling the way only art can give me. Being 74 doesn’t make me an artist. Thank you for the amazing lessons you so generously give us
